00:08after a violent car ramming and stabbing attack Thursday outside a synagogue in Manchester, England.

00:16Authorities say the suspected attacker was also shot and is believed to be dead.

00:21At least three people are listed in serious condition from the attack

00:25with individuals hurt from the initial car ramming and subsequent stabbings.

00:30Authorities say the attack, which occurred on Yom Kippur,

00:32widely considered the most holy of Jewish holidays, is being investigated as an act of terror.

00:37British Prime Minister Keir Starmer expressed shock

00:40and announced an increased police presence across the nation in response to the incident.

00:45The attack in Manchester this morning is absolutely shocking,

00:49and all of our thoughts are with those affected.
