00:00After missing out on qualifying for the World Cup, Trinidad and Tobago will have to regroup and look ahead.
00:06The red, white and black face Bolivia on Sunday from 4pm TT time, with Derrick King being appointed as interim
00:11coach.
00:12King has utmost respect for the South Americans, saying they're a tough side.
00:16First of all, playing against a Bolivia team at home is always a challenge.
00:24It's a very strong team, an experienced team as well.
00:27They are preparing for their final playoff game against Suriname.
00:32King is keen to see how his players perform against the Bolivians.
00:35He is urging them to give it their all, plus he does not want them to be overawed by the
00:39situation.
00:40With this young squad, we have potential.
00:44I think it's just to give the youths that experience.
00:49As I told them, we have to be disciplined in this game.
00:53We have to go out there and really keep the discipline, keep the shape, you know, be brave.
01:02You know, that is the key, is being brave and limit, you know, the errors.
01:06Because at international football, you know, as I said before, one error could cause the game.
01:11Having taken over from Dwight York recently, King is hoping to have a good relationship with the team.
01:16He says communication between coach and players is very important, as it can make an impact on the outcome.
01:21I think, you know, it's important to see if these younger players could match up and take instructions, which is
01:28the key.
01:29So, you know, it's just to get them going, you know, and follow the instructions from the coaches.
01:35As I said, you know, ball speed is very important and the discipline.
01:39And I think, you know, once we get our chances as well, you know, we could create chances and score
01:46goals as well.
01:46The TNT players have had a chance to train at the ground in Bolivia.
01:50So, what does coach King think about the facilities in that country?
01:54This is where you live for, you know, really good top quality.
01:58I think, you know, Bolivia is a football nation.
02:00And I think as younger players, we had to aspire to reach the top.
02:03King has given Andrew Rompassar the captain's armband, saying he's a consistent and experienced player who also possesses leadership qualities.
02:12You know, now I need to export.
