Starting with football...

Coach Dwight Yorke wants Trinidad and Tobago not to be a reactive team and instead take charge from the get-go.

His comment comes ahead of T&T's final group D game against Saudi Arabia tomorrow in Las Vegas from 7.00pm T&T time.
Transcript
00:01Trinidad and Tobago lost 5-0 to the USA before drawing 1-1 with Haiti in Group D of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
00:08They are now in a must-win situation against Saudi Arabia come Sunday.
00:12Coach Dwight York wants TNT to play on the front foot, saying that the team often gets off to a slow start.
00:18We are a reactive team rather than a proactive team.
00:22So we need to be better at that, certainly at the beginning of the game.
00:25We seem to end relatively well. So we need to sort of turn that around in many respects.
00:32We need to start well from the beginning.
00:34And I think if we have a little bit more self-belief, a little bit more self-confidence, play football,
00:39the way I know this team can play and the ability that we have within the team,
00:44is just to have a little bit more courage and to trust each other, I will say.
00:48Having been a player himself, York understands what it's like performing under pressure.
00:53Even though things have not gone TNT's way, the coach is pleased with the energy in the camp.
00:58The morality within the team and the spirit within the team is relatively high.
01:03And as you said, if anyone said to us that we have an outside chance when this group was first obviously drawn,
01:11going into the last game, if one said that we were going to have a chance to get to the quarter-final stage,
01:17I think that's just so much of a plus and everything to play for.
01:21Looking back at the clash against Haiti, the friend-speaking country missed a penalty,
01:26which could have ended TNT's campaign. But York has put that behind him.
01:31We could have easily have lost the game and we won't be having this conversation of being in the competition.
01:36However, in football you need a little bit of luck, it gives us a little bit impetus going in,
01:40a little bit more encouragement in terms of, you know, there's still that possibility of really qualifying.
01:46So there's a lot on this game.
01:48York says competing against quality teams at the Gold Cup is a big plus,
01:53as the TNT players soon have to focus on preparations for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
01:58We know it now on ETFs export.
