After an exciting start to the week with the Soca Warriors victory over Cuba in Tobago.

And securing another year playing the Concacaf Nations League A.

The Soca Warriors can now reflect and look forward...which is what national captain Aubrey David did.

00:00Let's spin away from that one as it's been an exciting week for the national football
00:04team who beat Cuba at home to secure a Gold Cup Prelims place and another year in League
00:10A of the CONCACAF Nations League.
00:13And with the hard work completed, the Warriors took time to reflect and look ahead.
00:18That was well for the team that we could be able to be playing games every FIFA window.
00:24That could only help us to improve, continue to help us to grow as a team together.
00:28So next FIFA window, God spare life, if we can get friendlies, it would be a massive,
00:34massive plus for us and we just continue to take it step by step.
00:37We need to continue working, we need to continue pushing ourselves because if everybody continues
00:41to push themselves with the club and come back to the team with top form, we'll continue
00:45to grow together.
00:46So it's just to go get complacent, yeah, because we're still in the A, but we can do a lot
00:52more.
00:53Last year, we qualified for the quarterfinals and we want to get back there.
00:56So we just take it one step at a time, so we just continue to work hard.
01:00And a 34-year-old defender who plays professionally in Guatemala says he takes his role as a captain
01:06and a role model seriously.
01:08I just try to be an example and I think it comes and it shows when I come to the national
01:15team.
01:16I think first and foremost, before being the captain of the team and being the leader,
01:20I have to also be an example.
01:22So I continue to work on myself, continue to take care of my body, rest, recovery, continue
01:28to push myself to play at the highest level.
01:30So when I come back, I can not only just tell the players, but I can show them from my example.
01:36And being the leader of the team, I take full responsibility and I take it with pride because
01:42it is an honour for me.
01:43So I continue to be an example to the boys and them and continue to lead the team.
