00:00The Soca Warriors will travel to Costa Rica looking to put an end to a 6-match losing streak.
00:06TNT last avoided defeat to the Costa Ricans 20 years ago in a goalless draw
00:10and have only beaten the Costa Ricans twice before in the Gold Cup.
00:15And while York is aware of the history, he's expecting a close contest.
00:19We know that the history shown between ourselves and Costa Rica has always been a very competitive game.
00:27We expect a very difficult game here, although in 2017 was the last time we meet
00:34and the score was 2-1 to Costa Rica.
00:37So the games are relatively tight and I expect it to be exactly the same tomorrow night.
00:45But the former Manchester United striker believes a close contest is contingent on our approach.
00:50I think that we are still developing those areas.
00:53We've always been a team that seems to, what I consider a reactive team rather than a proactive team.
01:01And so my meaning behind that, we always seem to concede and then having to go after teams then to try and win a game.
01:10And so, you know, even though we are getting better in those areas,
01:16these are the kind of games that you have to come and try and clean, have a clean sheet in terms of trying to win a game.
01:25And so it's an area that we're trying to improve, in other words.
01:29We know that there is a lot of work to be done in that area.
01:31Scoring goal would be another objective for TNT,
01:34but that task should be tougher with the return of Costa Rican goalkeeping legend Keylor Navas.
01:39I'm sure every Costa Rican will be happy because he's such a big personality,
01:44someone who has obviously done amazing in his playing career,
01:49obviously a real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
01:53He's a renowned figure in the world of football.
01:57He's won every tournament and competitions there is to one at club level.
02:02So he's obviously a huge icon in this country.
02:05And with his return, I'm sure that not just the fans,
02:09but the players will be uplifted by his return.
02:12And so, you know, we know what a fantastic goalkeeper he's been over the years.
