The Trinidad and Tobago Red Force will bowl off their campaign on Wednesday against the Barbados Pride in the Regional Super50 tournament.

00:08Trinidad and Tobago is no stranger to winning titles, and this time they will need to find
00:13a way to work around the abbreviated round-robin format.
00:16They will be hoping for a successful start against Barbados Pride.
00:20The rivalry will be highly charged with the championship purse of US $100,000 with US
00:26$50,000 being awarded the runner-up, while the third and fourth-placed teams will each
00:32take home US $25,000.
00:35That said, Captain Joshua Da Silva will field a 14-man team of youth and experience.
00:41It includes the rising Navin Bidesi, Brian Charles and Seifers Cooper.
00:45There will also be a few new faces with left-hand bowler Ricky Jaipal, batsman Shatrugan Rambaran
00:51who played for the combined campuses and colleges, and bowler Abdulrahim Toppin, earning a call-up.
00:57There is also some experience in the mix with Yannick Karaya, Jit Gulli, Keon Otte, Jason
01:03Muhammad and Tian Webster forming the backbone of the team.
01:06They are being coached by Riyad Emrit, who will be chasing his first title in charge of the squad.
01:11As for the Barbados Pride, Kyle Mayers will be wearing the captain's armband.
01:16Former Western East Test captain Craig Brathwaite is also in the team.
01:19The 32-year-old has played 63 List A one-day matches, with an average of 35.72.
01:27He has three centuries and nine fifties in the format, and he will be hoping to answer
01:32critics who believe that he bats too slow for the shorter format.
01:36Tomorrow's match is expected to begin at 9am.
