00:00Hi guys, how are you? I want to challenge you with something today. Take your highlighter, any highlighter, take a
00:06small brush, and before putting on any makeup, concealer, foundation, whatever it is, I want you to slather your face
00:14in your highlighter, because as you apply the highlighter to all parts of the face, you will in fact be
00:23refracting the light away from imperfections.
00:27So you could say I'm using this highlighter almost as a concealer, because it is bouncing the light away from
00:33parts of my face that I don't want attention to be drawn to.
00:36So we're just going to go all here, create this lovely, like, radiant, glowy, hyper-real skin effect with my
00:46product. This is KJH brand Hyper Shine Highlight in light pink.
00:50I applied a bit too much there. This is a brush that's coming soon, it's like a perfect little fan
00:55brush, amazing for concealer.
00:59Okay, so then I'm going to go right up in there, and then I'm going to air dry with lots
01:03and lots of clips so that it dries with some weight to it.
01:07Okay, next, I'm going to go in with some concealer, just a little bit. So I actually need to put
01:13more highlighter on this side of my face.
01:14So as you can see, the highlighter that I have on, I'm using it concentrated, this is a concentrated highlight
01:21product, it's very much like super, super glass skin, hyper-real, very radiant, comes in four shades.
01:28This is the pink, and the bronze looks like this, which is great for deeper, richer complexions, but also works
01:35as a nice glow enhancer for light to medium to fair skin as well.
01:39Now I have a concealer of my choice. This is a Westman Atelier, and I am priming it into the
01:43brush.
01:44I am not, in fact, going to put it directly on the skin. I'm going to prime it into the
01:48brush that has that little bit of highlighter in it, because what's going to happen,
01:50that little bit of highlighter is going to just allow for this concealer to be even more glowy.
01:55Then I'm going to take that concealer, and I'm going to skim it around the hair, take that off the
02:01mouth, off the mule, mule, mule, and then under the eyes, just a little bit.
02:09And I used one swipe of this concealer, and it should allow for me to not really use any more.
02:14When you prime it into the brush, you're basically making that brush go a lot further.
02:20You're stretching the product effectively.
02:23It's a video, actually, that I should make on, like, terminology and what it means.
02:30So I think it's a good, maybe a little idea that I will have.
02:33All right, so then popping a bit of that on there.
02:37Popping a bit of that on there.
02:40Then let's say I've got a little bit of hyperpigmentation.
02:42I'll just take what's in that brush and just minimise that hyperpigmentation.
02:49And now I have a really, really radiant, dewy base, concealed in the areas that I want, and really highlight
02:59-y and fresh.
03:01Like I just kind of got a facial.
03:02Actually, I'm going to do a little bit of contouring.
03:05This is my contour shade that I think a lot of you have been asking in a recent video.
03:10Soft Sculpt in, um, soft, sorry, what am I saying?
03:13Sculpt Stick in Stoked.
03:16From Milk.
03:17Popping that on the end of the nose.
03:20See, when it's in the brush, the blend becomes so much more effortless.
03:24Like, it's just instant application of, well, it's instant, sorry, I thought I had fluff on my lip.
03:35Um, it's instant application in the sense of, like, you don't have to blend it, it's just sort of happening.
03:42The, like, deposit of the colour is just becoming at one with the face.
03:48And you don't really need to try very hard.
03:52The thing you have to try the most is to make sure that it's in the brush the right way.
03:55I do have something to say on this topic.
03:59I have seen a few people be like, fine, but just, it just needs to be in the bristles.
04:05It doesn't need to be, like, you don't need to, like, completely, like, rub it in like your life depends
04:10on it.
04:11It should be, like, in the bristles, but, um, not on the, in the surface, not on the tips of
04:17the bristles.
04:18It's on the tips of the bristles and it's not really doing anything different than you just applying it straight
04:21to your face.
04:22Anyway, hopefully that makes sense.
04:24Also, I went to watch O'Mary last night on Broadway in New York City.
04:28And it was by far one of the best performances and musicals, or, not musical, theatre performances I've ever seen
04:35in my life.
04:36See you in a bit.
