00:00i'm going to show you a trick without any cuts because i want you to see exactly what happens
00:04throughout the process of this video i'm going to use this concealer shade it's the zero w
00:08backstage from dior this is a bit light for my complexion but it is all in the uh in the
00:17essence of education so i'm going to apply that to those areas i've got no makeup on my face i
00:21do
00:21have a little bit of makeup on my forehead but typically the rest of my face has nothing and
00:25i'm going to take a actually i'm not going to take this brush i was going to take this brush
00:27but then
00:28i decided to take this brush because i want to keep the product quite localized to where i applied
00:35it and i'm going to use that i'm going to go under this is very much a celebrity trick that
00:39you'll see
00:39sort of celebrities do for red carpets etc so we blend into those areas you see what's happening
00:45it's making this area look more contoured therefore more lifted it's like a reverse contour trick you've
00:50probably seen a version of this before you might have even seen this exact one before and i say
00:54that because nothing is really new in makeup everything is just reiterations of things that
00:58have already been done and so then we blend in below that line first longer that you let it sit
01:08on
01:08the skin the more it will sort of impact the more skincare that's underneath this concealer the more
01:16it will shear it down therefore the less um you know the less longevity it might have or the less
01:23opacity it might have i'm going to do the same just here and just sort of i just got it
01:29in my hair but
01:30that's okay um i'm gonna just lift that up there to there again keeping it quite
01:38close to where i place the product in the initial and for this technique you do want to go a
01:43little
01:43lighter than your complexion uh but it still has to work for your undertones which we will talk
01:47about on a different day because undertones i think are not as difficult as they may seem
01:53so we're gonna lift do you see that it's lifting me and this is just one product one step okay
02:01all right so then we blend down a little bit and around a little bit and i'm just going to
02:07take a
02:07different brush the brush that i initially thought i was going to use i'm going to take this brush
02:12it has a little bit of concealer in it from earlier but it shouldn't impact me too much
02:15i'm going to buff it out into a towel though just to triple triple check okay and now i'm going
02:20to
02:21just blend that hard line out with this brush like so and now i've got a quite good hop of
02:30light under
02:31my cheekbone making my cheekbones look better and stronger you could do the same under your jaw if you
02:37wanted to potentially right there i'm actually going to try that next see how it looks on me
02:42and then do the same with the concealer version up there just try a tip a day i want you
02:48to try a
02:48thing a day and see how it look how it looks for you and how it sort of works for
02:54you so we're trying
02:56to so see that natural shadow that's there i'm gonna enhance i've already enhanced it by going there
03:00if i want to enhance it more i mean this is just me literally winging it now because i think
03:04it's going to
03:04work if i want to brighten under there it's going to enhance that shadow even more therefore giving
03:12me a stronger jawline sort of by default but i don't want to go on that line because that's going
03:22to reduce that shadow entirely and we want to keep that shadow there and that's it happy highlighting with
03:30your actually wait one more trick you can do a little nose content nose contour with highlight
03:36concealer and just keep that sort of actually you know i'm going to do tiny brush trick just highlight
03:43those areas and it's going to make the nose look a little bit more pointy in the center therefore
03:49making it look more shadowy on the sides am i making sense bye
