00:00All right, I want to show you how to properly use this product. This is Endless Cacao
00:04by Makeup Forever. I believe, actually I don't believe, I know I've sold tens of thousands of
00:09this product. I don't have the data, but based on how many years I've used it for and how often
00:17it
00:17used to be sold out for months at a time, I do believe that I should have rights to call
00:28this
00:28product my own. Joking, but kind of slightly serious. Joking. All right, this is how to use it.
00:33There's beauty in the dullness. See how dull that tip is? It's not sharp at all. The dullness allows
00:39for a soft, smudgy kind of look. So you can apply it, use it with your fingertip just to blend
00:45any
00:45edges and just build. And what you're going to do is, in my opinion, you always want to start just
00:50here and just here. Like top of the middle, top, middle, top, bottom. Top, middle, or bottom?
00:55Um, anybody remember that show? I think it was Michael Barmer or something.
01:00And then a little shadow there is nice. A little shadow here is nice. Just to create
01:05a natural dimension at the sides. This is Lip Contouring 101. You will create a nice pink
01:10flush of your natural lip color in the middle when you are using this. In effect, making your lips
01:15seem plumper. You are also pushing a little bit outside the lip line. Um, if you don't like the way
01:21this looks, that's okay. You don't have to like it. It's not for everyone. Um, I personally think
01:25that we all have two lip lines. We have a transparent lip line at the edge of our mouth and
01:30we have the
01:30color of our lip, which is the first lip line. I think always go into the transparent part.
01:35I feel like I remember Violette saying how there's two lip lines and one is volume part, which is the
01:41transparent part. And one is the color of your lip, which is the closer, smaller lip line. I think
01:46it's always go into, go into the bigger one. Skip the filler. Go into the bigger one. But the other
01:50ways to use this is I'm actually now going to sharpen it, um, and create a point from my pencil
01:55sharpener. This is the Glossier Play Pencil Sharpener. I believe this is still available.
01:59And so you can use this as an eyeshadow pencil. It's like, you know, designed for both. It's got an
02:06eye
02:06and a face. Oh, I've shaved it off. But when this pencil is full, it will have a face and
02:11a lip that tells
02:12you that it is multiple use for both areas on the face. And it's a great pencil for both things.
02:16Just like a quick sort of eye, like so. However, if you do use this sharp and precise on the
02:25lip,
02:26you will get a very different effect. Again, you'll get a harder line simply because it's more precise.
02:32And the whole thing about using a brush like this to apply shadow versus like this to apply shadow,
02:39you'll get a lighter color application with this because the brush is bigger. So therefore the
02:42diameter is smaller, making the color spread wider. If you apply the same exact color eyeshadow with a
02:48brush like this, you'll get a harder color payoff, more intense color payoff because it's more precise
02:53and precision-like. Same goes with this when you sharpen it. So, you know, what I want my account to
02:58be for everyone is just bags and bags and bags of information that really make you feel empowered to
03:02be playing with the products that you have in your makeup bag. If that encourages a purchase that you,
03:06because you need something of that category, then great. But I never want my account to feel like
03:10I'm selling you product. And I hope that you feel that in my content, whether it's KJH brand or ad
03:15content. Like I always want my ad content to feel educational over a salesy pitch. Because at the
03:20end of the day, like, you know, we all probably have so much in our makeup bags. And I encourage
03:27you to
03:28try and make good of things that you've already purchased. Because I think through that learning of how to
03:33make a product that you don't like actually work for you, you will learn how to make so many more
03:37things work for you in the future. I think if you know how to manipulate a product properly,
03:40you'll just have so much more fun with your makeup. And you'll feel fulfilled and you'll feel sort of
03:45validated that you know how to manipulate a product. Because, you know, this isn't particularly a long
03:51wear lip product, for example. This is a very short wearing lip product because it's a powdery pencil.
03:55If I pull my finger through it, I will remove all of the color. However, I don't mind that because
04:01I can
04:01simply add a little bit more. Whereas if I lost some of my long wear lip pencil throughout the day
04:07and
04:07try to reapply it, it would start patching and peeling and rolling and just getting a little funky. And I'd
04:12rather
04:13have this than I would rather have the other thing. And so when we develop lip liners at KJH Brand,
04:19there'll
04:20definitely be some element of flexibility in the product. Because I truly believe that you can be more, you can
04:26grow and build and add to the face throughout the day a lot easier. And makeup shouldn't be something
04:32that stays on your face for 24 hours. Like that whole 24-hour marketing thing, I understand where
04:37brands are coming from and wanting to give longevity and maximum longevity to a client or a customer or
04:42purchaser. But at the same time, like makeup is a foreign body. It doesn't need to be on your face
04:46for
04:47three days. Like there's like three-day eyeliner things or like 26 hour wear foundations. I'm like,
04:53I don't want it to be on my face for that long. So, you know, anyway, I'm just shaving this
04:57lip up.
04:58How other ways do I want to use this? There's another way that I want to use this. If you're
05:00in a pinch,
05:02I would put it on the back of my hand, pick it up with my finger, warm it up, do
05:07it with a brush
05:07too if you want to. And you could even use this as a little bit of a contour. But you
05:12will find
05:12sometimes that it might start to get a little bit muddy in the pores, just because it's not really a
05:17product that's designed for that. So be aware that can totally happen. Yeah, this isn't a lasting pencil.
05:21If you do want to make this pencil last a lot longer, do not put lip balm under it. Do
05:27not
05:28put lip gloss over it. I mean, you would put lip gloss over their long wearing version of this.
05:33Like the long wear version of this actually really, really like as well. I do prefer this. This I
05:37will reach for more because it's got longevity. But if I was like, sorry, I reach for this more
05:41because it's got more flexibility. If I'm like out and about and I know I'm not going to have time
05:45to
05:45touch up at all throughout the day, I'd probably reach for this. But my first choice is always going to
05:49be this. If you put a little bit of powder of it, powder on top of this product, you will
05:57see
05:57that it will have a bit more longevity. You'll see that it will have more longevity. You'll also
06:03make it a bit lighter in color, which is kind of nice sometimes. But this shouldn't remove half as
06:10quick. So we'll come off, but not as easy. But the beauty of it is I can just add a
06:15little bit more.
06:17I wouldn't be able to do that as easily with the other formula. Now I'll finish this with a little
06:23look combo. I think I'm doing this based on my outfit. Unless cacao, KGH brand, but soft tomato.
06:33This is a powdery stick, which is a blush stick as well. I've already got a little bit of a
06:42color
06:42on from before. I'm just putting a little bit on very delicately with my cheek, directly to my cheeks.
06:47I do prefer picking it up with a brush, but you are going to put it directly on the face.
06:52Just start
06:52with a little bit. And if you're not like a brush primer, like if you don't favor the brush prime,
06:59just put it on like that. Blend it in straight away. And then I think it's also nice to go
07:05over
07:07where the endless cacao is. And then you can always boost it. Do you see the moment using
07:11the pencil on its side? It's giving it more of a shadow.
07:23I think I'm going to be in Madrid this time next week. And that's very exciting. Okay, bye.
07:27As always, play with your products. If your hands aren't dirty by the time you've finished doing
07:30your makeup, you're not having enough fun. Now I'm going to a head spa. I will report the experience.
