00:20Hello everybody and welcome back to the opening round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship
00:26here at the Bariloche MX Track and the YPF MXGP of Argentina.
00:32My name's Paul Malin and thanks for the pleasure of your company over the course of the weekend
00:35through Saturday's qualifying to the races today so far.
00:39Just two more races yet to run, MX2 and MXGP Race 2, where we are at a brand new venue
00:45this year
00:46moving from Michelangostura to the Infinito Racetrack in Cordova last year and now back here in Bariloche.
00:52We're about 1,600 kilometers, maybe 1,000 miles southwest of Buenos Aires
00:58and it's the 18th Grand Prix to be held in Argentina, the first of which was 41 years ago back
01:04in 1985.
01:04That was in Salta, almost 2,400 kilometers north of here.
01:09Peck of the Conan was the first ever winner at Salta on a Kijiva 125.
01:15We're at altitude 850 meters and just like Michelangostura as you can see there the Patagonian Andes Mountains
01:24and that southern tip of the wonderful Nahuel Guapi Lake really is beautiful.
01:31When you get down there it's about six kilometers from where we are.
01:34The lake this morning first thing on the way to the track was like glass.
01:38The sun was just coming up over the mountains to the right
01:41and we knew that we were going to be in for a great day's racing.
01:44However, the wind has picked up.
01:46The racetrack has been heavily watered in the one hour break.
01:491,850 meters of it.
01:51So there's going to be a little bit of slick action going on.
01:55Riders might want to come back from their sighting lap as you can hear them on their racing lap,
01:59on their sighting lap now.
02:00They might want to come back and just maybe opt for a few more laminates
02:05because certainly it wasn't that wet when they went out for their first race a couple of hours ago.
02:12There's a look at the racetrack if you're joining us for the first time.
02:15As I said, 850 meters above sea level so bikes losing a little bit of performance over the course of
02:20the weekend.
02:20See how the flag has really stiffened up now during that break.
02:24Really picking up on the infield.
02:26Just a little bit of dry dirt flicking up into the eyes of those who were there.
02:31If you weren't with us earlier, here's what happened in that first MX2 race.
02:36The gate dropped and over on the right side, gate number one.
02:40Sascha Kunen tried to get up the inside of Julius Micheler and Noel Zanotz,
02:45but it was Janis Raceless, the newcomer to the class, who grabbed his first foxhole shot behind him.
02:50Simon Langenfeld, the defending champion, on the number one, emerged in second.
02:54Carlos Raceless on the 47, got himself in the third, finding his way by the rider in orange, Noel Zanotz.
02:59There you see the 19 of Sascha Kunen just trying to get onto the rear wheel of the two Triumphs.
03:05He found his way past the eights of Camden McClellan.
03:08That was him going by the 99 of Ferez.
03:10This was Sascha Kunen getting around Carlos Raceless as he moved up into third place.
03:17That was early on.
03:19Change for the lead came on lap seven.
03:21Simon Langenfelder finding his way by Janis Raceless on the 772.
03:26Monster Energy Yamaha, the Red Bull KTM led the way.
03:28And then when Raceless went the wrong side of the back marker, Kunen nipped up the inside.
03:32He moved into second.
03:33That was at the halfway point.
03:35And then after that, towards the end of the race, there were other charges as well.
03:40As Carlos Raceless started to fade back tonight, as the likes of Matis Valland came through.
03:47Camden McClellan, Guillaume Ferez.
03:50And later on, Liam Evertz, Valerio Latte as well.
03:54Evertz in his own battle with Valerio Latte finding his way by the Italian for seventh on the final lap.
04:00But in the end, it was Simon Langenfelder on his 100th Grand Prix start taking the win in race one.
04:07Sascha Kunen and Guillaume Ferez.
04:13When you see how the breeze has really picked up and I was told actually from a local here from
04:18one of our TV production crew
04:19that around about six o'clock, the winds are going to be unbelievably strong.
04:25Well, I was here on Wednesday and it was a blast coming from underneath the Monster Energy Bridge up on
04:30the top of the hill
04:31from that lake down the valley between the mountains.
04:34And it was pretty fierce and that wasn't as fierce as it had been at the start of the week.
04:38So I think we're going to be lucky to get out of here in one piece.
04:45But anyway, here's how the championship looks at the moment because we had a qualifying race yesterday where 10 points
04:50were on offer.
04:51And for the points on offer for the first 10 riders.
04:54And with Sascha Kunen winning that and then picking up the second in race one, he's on 32 points.
04:59Ferez on 29, Langenfelder on 25.
05:02Then we've got Valin, Rachelis Evans tied with McClellan and Valerio Latta there in eighth.
05:08Rounding out the top 10, we've got Carlos Rachelis in the end to Walborn.
05:15Sasha Kunen prepares for MX2 race two.
05:22Can he get the better of Simon Langenfelder walk away with the overall Grand Prix calendar?
05:27Well, we are just moments away from finding out. In the meantime, let's take a look at the calendar in
05:322026.
05:33We are here at the YPF MXGP of Argentina, Bariloche.
05:38Two weeks from now, we go to the MXGP of Andalusia in Almonte.
05:42And a week after that, we go to Switzerland.
05:45We get a week off and then we've got a couple on the bounce in April.
05:52Then we get a month off before we go to France, Germany, Latvia, Italy, Portugal.
05:58We return to South Africa later on in the year as well.
06:01Of course, those three right at the end of the season.
06:03Turkey, China and Darwin in Australia.
06:06Here's how the riders line up based on how they qualified in the Saturday's qualifying race.
06:10And that was won by Sasha Kunen.
06:12So here we go to the line ahead of Guillaume Ferez.
06:14Guillaume Ferez getting his best qualifying in his MX2 career.
06:17Mattis Villan goes to the line third.
06:19Header Liam Evertz, Camden McClellan, Giannis Reisselis, Valerio Latta and Julius Mikola.
06:26Following along from them.
06:27Kaz Bolt, Carlos Reisselis, Jens Walford.
06:30Give me a new set of eardrums, please.
06:32Kai Carsmakers will go to the line 12th.
06:34Benjamin Garib, Nolzanoz, Davin Becerra, some Hanks in Rome.
06:39Scott Smaldus, 17th.
06:41Simone Mancini, Jose Moreira of Venezuela.
06:44And then we've got the Bolivian.
06:45Carlos Andres Badia-Durant.
06:48And the rest there.
06:49Simon Langefelder, he was down in 22nd.
06:50He went down in the first turn, if you recall.
06:52Caught the rear, caught his front wheel in the footrest of Kai Carsmakers.
07:00Ripped the spokes out.
07:01Came in for a wheel change.
07:02Went out, crashed on the very next lap.
07:04Went the lap down.
07:05Went behind Sasha Kunen.
07:07Followed him for a few laps.
07:09Unlapped himself with just over a lap to go.
07:11And yeah, 21st, 22nd is where he ended up.
07:1422nd.
07:17Sasha Kunen.
07:19Didn't make the best start in race one, but it wasn't the worst either.
07:22But it's not where he wanted to be.
07:23He'll be looking at picking up a foxhole shot here in race two.
07:27So too will the 99.
07:28Fast starting.
07:29Guillem-Ferez.
07:30Triumph Racing.
07:31MX2 Factory Team.
07:33Good solid ride in race one.
07:35Third.
07:36And with his second in the qualifying race.
07:38Having a good weekend so far as the Spaniard.
07:41Matis Valan came from outside of the top ten in the first race to an eventual fifth place.
07:45He got into fifth with about five laps to go.
07:48What can the Kawasaki Racing Team MX2 rider do in race two?
07:52Liam Evertz fell at turn one.
07:54By the end of the first official lap, he put himself back to 15th.
07:58And then he started going and clicking off riders in quick succession.
08:02So around about lap five, six, he was up to ten.
08:05Eventually came home in seventh.
08:07Camden McClellan was a real threat.
08:09He got himself into sixth, fifth position maybe.
08:11And then fell down to ninth.
08:13And then eventually came home in sixth.
08:16It's been a bright start for the Yamaha of Giannis Raceless.
08:20The Yamaha rider who pulled a hole shot in the qualifying race.
08:23Led for a lap.
08:25Called a foxhole shot officially in race one.
08:27Led for the first five laps before eventually coming home fourth.
08:30Guillaume Férez passed him with two to go.
08:32Simon Langefelder pushing his bike to the line now.
08:36Sat behind Giannis Raceless for the first five laps.
08:39Kept himself at a nice safe distance.
08:41And then when he realized that Sasha Kunin was just starting to inch closer.
08:46Decided to go after the Latvian.
08:47Made his move on lap six.
08:48And stayed there then until the end of the race.
08:51When the flag went out on lap 16.
08:54And it was a comfortable win over Sasha Kunin in the end.
08:59Four and a half seconds over the Belgian.
09:02With Férez, with, uh, racialists.
09:04Giannis Raceless in the match like that.
09:05Running out the top five.
09:12Slightly wider start pad.
09:14Unpainted start pad on the match this year.
09:19You might have noticed that before it was pretty much the width of a tire.
09:22But they've gone a little bit wider just to be a bit more consistent in terms of the traction and
09:28things like that.
09:33Everybody in position.
09:35Everybody ready to go.
09:38Our FIM race director signals for the Fly Racing.
09:41Fifteen second more to go up for the final time today.
09:44MX2 race two.
09:4530 minutes plus two laps.
09:46The YPF.
09:47MXGP of Argentina.
09:49About to come to a close in MX2.
09:55Five second more turns.
09:57Revs up.
09:58Heads down.
09:59Gates drop.
09:59Down.
10:02Now.
10:02Dolzanox a little bit off balance.
10:04There's 47 of Carlos Raceless.
10:06Goes in.
10:07And Sasha Kunin, just like he did in race one.
10:09And it's a raceless sweep.
10:10As both brothers pick up a black plate for a foxhole shot here in Argentina.
10:14Carlos Raceless leads.
10:17Round the outside though.
10:19Liam Evans.
10:20Was there carnage there over the first jump?
10:23Two triumphs are in there at about sixth, seventh place.
10:29But it's Ebertz now who leads the way.
10:32Quickly past the 47 of Carlos Racers.
10:36Langenfeld are in there once again.
10:38A good start for the number one.
10:41But Sasha Kunin dive-bombed his way into turn one.
10:44Just like he did in race one.
10:47Yeah, we've got an incident over there on that either into or over the Monster Energy jump.
10:54At the start of the race.
11:00Hopefully all okay down there.
11:02But as we head uphill.
11:05See how quickly the track is drying out.
11:07It was pretty wet just a few moments ago.
11:10But Liam Ebertz leads here on this opening lap.
11:14On the Nastaan Huswana.
11:15Carlos Raceless second.
11:16Simon Langenfeld of third.
11:19Janis Raceless was fourth.
11:21But he's been passed by the 99.
11:24Of Guillaume Ferez.
11:25Who's in no mood for hanging around.
11:30And Ferez up the inside of Langenfeld.
11:32And it was Sasha Kunin who fell.
11:34I couldn't see him on the leaderboard.
11:36And that may have been him.
11:37But that front end pointing in the wrong direction.
11:41And is he hurt as well?
11:44Because if he needs to go to pit lane, he's got to complete a lap.
11:47He can't just come across and then go in illegally.
11:51And by the way he's riding.
11:53And very, very slowly on that motorcycle.
11:55It looks like he may be out of the race.
11:58Sasha Kunin.
12:02And that will turn the championship upside down.
12:04Because Guillaume Ferez there, number 99.
12:06Will briefly lead this championship over Liam Ebertz.
12:1047, 46.
12:12Langenfelder, 45.
12:13Right.
12:14This was...
12:19Ferez up the inside of Langenfelder.
12:21That was for third.
12:27Still there at the moment.
12:40Ebertz continues to lead.
12:41Carlos Reis in second.
12:42The 99 there.
12:43Ferez third.
12:44He's your new championship leader as it stands right now.
12:48Langenfelder fourth.
12:48Giannis Reisless.
12:49Julius Mikula.
12:50Camden McClelland seven.
12:51Mattis Belang.
12:52Carsmakers.
12:52Volk.
12:53They are your top ten.
12:54But we saw how cool a customer Simon Langenfelder was in race one.
12:59Happy to sit back.
13:00Then when he realized there was maybe a little bit of danger from behind.
13:04With Sasha Kunin.
13:05Decided to click another gear.
13:07Went after Giannis Reisless.
13:09Made that move.
13:11On lap six.
13:13And then controlled the race from the front.
13:21I think he looks pretty comfortable there.
13:23In that fourth place at the moment.
13:25Also.
13:26With the circuit being a little bit wetter.
13:29Waiting for it to dry out.
13:30Then you can be a little bit more creative with your lines.
13:32He would also be mindful of the fact.
13:34That number 19.
13:35Sasha Kunin.
13:36Who followed him home in the second race.
13:38Followed him home in second in race one.
13:41Is out of the race.
13:46Hopefully we can get some kind of info down there.
13:49But.
13:50Not sure.
13:51We're going to be able to.
13:57Things tightening up here.
14:00Everts over the line.
14:02First official lap complete.
14:042.057.
14:06Fastest rider on track.
14:08By a tenth over Ferez.
14:09Who's into third.
14:12Got a 1.2 second advantage over Carlos Reisless.
14:14So we've got the Nastana Spana.
14:16What's running the Yamaha.
14:19Triumph.
14:21Racing MX2 factory.
14:23Right.
14:23Here's another look at the start.
14:25Hopefully we get drone footage of.
14:27What happened the other side of this jump.
14:28On the opening lap.
14:30Sasha Kunin.
14:31Over on the inside.
14:32Watch him dive from the corner here.
14:33Already puts himself under pressure.
14:36Both feet off the pegs.
14:38And he's trying to get to the inside.
14:40He's on the outside of the Triumph there.
14:41His middle of his screen.
14:44Will follow him here.
14:45Very inside rider.
14:48Now.
14:48Stands himself up.
14:50Just between the two Triumphs.
14:53Tries to close down the gap.
14:55And as we hit the jump here.
14:58Do we not have.
15:00The drone shot.
15:01Or what happened on the jump next.
15:07Pointing down to the knee.
15:09To the knee though.
15:11Sasha Kunin.
15:12That does not look good.
15:13Would have been nice.
15:13To have continued that drone footage.
15:15Over the jump.
15:15Just to see exactly what happened.
15:18Well.
15:19Whether he.
15:20Jumped long.
15:21Or jumped on.
15:22Or got cross rotted.
15:23Or went over the bars.
15:24Or what the.
15:43That too.
15:47Everts continues to lead.
15:51Doesn't have a lot of room to maneuver though.
15:56The race.
15:57And the other guy goes to win.
16:15What?
16:16I think it's going to be a little bit.
16:19Going to go.
16:21Go.
16:22It's going to win the Grand Prix here.
16:23but these three here keeping simon langerfeld about two seconds at bay at the moment in that
16:28fourth place your winner from race one the defending champion there he is to the inside
16:31now on that number one red bull ktm
16:37and then camden mcclellan how far is he back about a second and a half
16:42still early stage in this race 23 minutes plus two laps to go
16:47oh back end just twitching there on the number 99 triumph ah zanon's has been off
16:54so zanon's already down on that venry ktm holding his hand his wrist so zanon's out
17:08no zanon's in race one 16th after starting in eighth place on the opening lap he was a little
17:14bit higher up than that remember going through the first couple of corners challenging with uh
17:17raceless and uh langenfelder right langenfelder finding his way past ferez
17:27or is that mcclellan closing in yes mcclellan closing in on the german
17:33so maybe langenfelder doesn't have the legs in this race who knows
17:38sandwiched between the two triumphs see how greasy is still there at the bottom of the hill though
17:47so maybe langenfelder just being a little bit cautious knows as always that
17:53well-known phrase you can't win the championship with the opening race you definitely lose it
17:57if it's a little bit tricky a little bit slippery in places and you wait for that track to dry
18:02out
18:04you'd rather do that than risk all when you don't need to
18:12but he is closing in on ferez as camden mcclellan closes in in the background put the flag out now
18:18langenfelder wins the gp with a person of four ferez second overall on 40 compared to langenfelder's 43
18:26langenfelder buying him up though through here and evans would be on the podium third overall on 39 points
18:32if it stays that it is now cautious look over the shoulder there from simon langenfelder he
18:38realized it was wide just wanted to see how much room he had to play with
18:43because he knows camden mcclellan is closing in on him
18:50holds a nice tighter line
18:55that's the number one the second rider in shot here his fourth in the race behind ferez
18:59the first of the two riders in yellow and black
19:07camden mcclellan
19:10here we have his second rider in white
19:10flying up these two on the number eight triumph team mate to the rider two riders ahead of him
19:20still heavy going doesn't take long for the the moisture to get turned over
19:26and mixed into the the circuit there there of course where it obviously ran downhill into that bowl
19:35but Liam Evans who is 2.7 seconds clear at the moment
19:38he's at the fastest lap last time around 2.07
19:417.83
19:44there's a charge downhill here
19:49Guillaume Perez knows he's got his work cut out
19:52he looks across he knows that the German is there
19:54he'll try and command the inside line
19:56he'll also know that Langenfelder might even try to go around the outside
19:59so he cuts off both opportunities
20:02Langenfelder no way through
20:08Langenfelder just needs to keep a cool calm head
20:13oh bar to bar he's going to get pinched again
20:16but Langenfelder jumps long
20:19oh forces his way down the inside
20:24and Guillaume Perez had nowhere to go
20:26but off the track
20:28aggressive move that from Seymour Langenfelder
20:31it was 50-50
20:32they both went in together
20:35both went in hard
20:37but all of a sudden Langenfelder comes out in third
20:44McClellan goes through in fourth
20:45Perez now down to fifth place
20:52Perez
20:54because he didn't go over the finish line
20:56he didn't go through the beam
20:57he's now registered as 14th
20:59but clearly
21:00he is in fifth position in the race
21:02that will update in a moment
21:07but he did lose
21:08he did lose a couple of positions
21:11look Perez was looking to his left
21:13he knew that Langenfelder was there
21:14he tried to squeeze him
21:15but he did not
21:17think that Langenfelder was going to commit like that
21:20into the turn
21:22Perez nowhere to go
21:23landed over the inside berm
21:25went over the outside berm
21:26went off track
21:28and went around the outside of the finish line jump
21:31and he comes out in that fifth place
21:35meanwhile
21:35Liam Evertz now has a 3.3 second advantage over
21:39Carles Raceless
21:40as Langenfelder and McClellan now
21:42on the one and the eight
21:44fight over third place
21:46purple sectors all over the timing screen
21:48Raceless
21:48Raceless with the fastest lap
21:50Carles
21:512.04.1
21:52McClellan set the fastest time in sector one
21:55Langenfelder in sector two and three
21:57quickly eclipsed by McClellan
21:58in that same sector
22:02these two now
22:03just starting to turn the wick
22:05and up the pace
22:12Giannis Raceless
22:13about five seconds further back
22:14in fifth place
22:16Valancic
22:16Carsmakers
22:17Julius Michele
22:18Volk
22:19and Smulders
22:19are your top ten
22:28just looking down the timing screen here
22:30Valerio Latta and Sacha Kunin
22:33obviously not completing
22:34so I wonder if Valerio Latta was involved
22:36in that crash on the first jump as well
22:38because
22:38neither he nor Sacha Kunin
22:40went through sector one
22:41Noel Zanotz
22:42the other rider that's out of the race
22:43he completed a lap
22:44but didn't go as far as
22:45sector three
22:46on that second lap
22:50so a blow then
22:51for Valerio Latta
22:53Honda HRC Petronas
22:54and Sacha Kunin
22:55on the Redwood KTM
22:57and Noel Zanotz
22:58on the
22:59Veneroy KTM
23:01Carlos Raceless
23:05under pressure
23:06once again
23:07from Langenfelder
23:07the gap was about a second
23:08a moment ago
23:09but you can see
23:09it's a lot less than that
23:11right now
23:12as Langenfelder
23:13just sets the fastest lap
23:14on lap five
23:14we're nowhere near the fastest lap
23:16from race one
23:18so that looks like
23:19the Acherbis fastest lap
23:21this weekend
23:23more on that in a moment
23:24because Langenfelder
23:25trying to nip down the inside
23:27no way through there
23:28Langenfelder was the fastest rider
23:29in race one
23:30a 2.01.699
23:33that was on lap three
23:34so that looks like
23:35that may be the
23:36Acherbis fastest lap
23:37coming in race one
23:39because we're in 2.03 territory
23:41at the moment
23:42track is only going to get rougher
23:51McClellan
23:52third rider in shot
23:53just losing the rear wheel
23:55of Langenfelder
23:56at the moment
23:57maybe just
23:58regrouping
23:59oh
23:59tell you what
24:00Raceless
24:00fight in the front end
24:02and it put him offline
24:03over the Liqui Molly jump
24:05he gets back on track
24:06but loses a position
24:07to Langenfelder
24:08in the process
24:09who now moves to second
24:18and Camden McClellan
24:20snapping at his heels as well
24:22but haven't seen too much
24:23of the race leader
24:24because there's been so much
24:25going on
24:26around him
24:27and he has a 2.3
24:29or 2.6 now
24:31advantage over Langenfelder
24:33the German who's just moved
24:34in the second
24:35Raceless third
24:35McClellan there
24:36in the yellow and black
24:37fourth
24:38but chomping at the bit
24:39to get into the top three
24:46McClellan trying to get out
24:47of the turn
24:48turn one early
24:49up the left side
24:50of that foxhole shot
24:52rise
24:55as he continues to pursue
24:56Carlos Raceless
24:58on the 47
25:06thought it was going to be
25:08McClellan all over the back
25:09and maybe forcing his way
25:11down the inside of the Latvian
25:12but no way through
25:15for now at least
25:19Evans 3.1 seconds
25:22clear of Simon Langenfelder
25:23this is still that battle
25:24for third
25:28right Perez
25:29is showing down
25:30in 22nd at the moment
25:31hasn't gone through
25:32sector two
25:33what's happened to Perez
25:34has he pulled off
25:35or is he still there
25:36in the race
25:37he was in fifth position
25:38behind these guys
25:40maybe we'll get a wide shot
25:41in a moment
25:42but
25:45no he's back
25:46in that fifth position
25:47so
25:48obviously
25:50some issue there
25:51there he is
25:54so
25:55as it stands right now
25:56the overall classification
25:57Simon Langenfelder
26:00first and second
26:03shows 47 points
26:0525 and 22
26:05Liam Evans
26:06would be second overall
26:0739
26:0714 and 25
26:097.1
26:10Jim Perez
26:10would be third
26:11on 36
26:11with a 3.5
26:12so 20 points
26:14and 16 points
26:15McClellan
26:15would be fourth overall
26:16on 33
26:17tied with
26:18Giannis Raceless
26:19and then Carlos Raceless
26:20a point further back
26:21so the racial eye
26:22fifth and sixth overall
26:25and they would be
26:26sixth and seventh
26:27in the championship
26:29McClellan
26:30up the inside
26:31of Raceless
26:34finally moves
26:35into that third place
26:53can he hang on
26:54confirmation that
26:55Carlos Raceless
26:56was the
26:57Fox Hot Shop winner
26:58so both
26:58Blackblakes
27:00heading back to Latvia
27:03this evening
27:14but Liam Evans
27:16Simon Langenfelder
27:17just started to chip
27:19away
27:20at his advantage
27:21it was 3.1
27:22it's now down
27:23to 2.9
27:27can Liam Evans
27:29bag himself
27:30a first race win
27:32since
27:33he was victorious
27:34in Spain
27:35Cozart
27:35race 2
27:36at round 2
27:37last year
27:38which also got him
27:39the overall
27:39victory
27:44if he does win here
27:47in the second race
27:48he will be the
27:5017th
27:51different race winner
27:51in Argentina
27:52since 2015
27:54Simon Langenfelder
27:55might have something
27:56to say about that
27:57though
27:57if he can get
27:58close enough
27:59but Evans
28:00doing a great job
28:01at the moment
28:01on that
28:01Nastana Spana
28:0226
28:03despite
28:04turning up today
28:05feeling a little bit
28:06under the weather
28:06feeling sick
28:15dancing around
28:15off the pegs
28:16nice and smooth
28:2411 and a half
28:25minutes plus
28:25two laps
28:27still remain

28:28race here
28:32Everts over the

28:36of the race
28:36for him
28:37a 2.04
28:371.38
28:38but Langenfelder
28:392.36
28:40gap down
28:42a 2.1
28:42seconds now
28:46as we
28:46reach the

28:56see Langenfelder

42:56for the
42:57defending
42:57champion
42:58and that's
42:59the thing
42:59isn't it
42:59you can win a
43:00title and just
43:00sit back
43:01rest on your
43:02laurels
43:02and think
43:03yeah I've
43:03achieved it
43:04and go into
43:04a season
43:05being complacent
43:06thinking you've

43:13moved up
43:13into MXGP
43:16the reality is
43:17everybody else
43:18is hungry
43:19for that win
43:20that title
43:23as well
43:25hang on
43:27that was a bit of a moment there for Yanis Rachelis
43:31as he closes in on his brother
43:39nothing in it between them
43:42as they hit the line
43:43fifth and sixth
43:43but Yanis Rachelis
43:44seven seven two

43:47looking to find his way
43:48into fifth
43:58how will that
44:00figure out
44:00at the podium
44:01we're into the final lap
44:02Langenfelder goes into the final lap
44:04with 1.6 seconds over
44:05Cameron McClellan
44:07again
44:08sector one
44:09Cameron McClellan
44:0928.8
44:10fastest sector of the race so far
44:11Langenfelder 29.5
44:13sector two
44:14Langenfelder
44:15fastest sector of the race
44:1629.8
44:1630.7
44:17so just keeping that gap
44:19static all of a sudden
44:20goes back out
44:21the two and a half seconds
44:21so Langenfelder here
44:23just keeping a good measure
44:24of what's going on behind him
44:26although two and a half seconds
44:27he can't afford any little slip-ups
44:30I'm sure
44:32you won't see that
44:33from the more experienced
44:36defending champ
44:39with more than a handful of corners to go
44:41there's the finish line in the background
44:42coming out of the left-hander
44:43at the end of pit lane
44:46yes there is a little bit of traffic on the horizon
44:54but Simon Langenfelder
44:56he may have got off to a rough start
44:57in the qualifying races on Saturday
45:01but lining up to start this 100th Grand Prix
45:05the German on the Red Bull KTM
45:07will cross the line here in Argentina
45:08he wins in Argentina
45:10he has the championship leader's red plate
45:12he takes his 10th Grand Prix victory
45:17Camden McClellan
45:18second in the race
45:21he will be third overall
45:26Liam Everts will cross the line third
45:27will do the top three in the race first
45:29Langenfelder, McClellan
45:30and Everts
45:32is how it finishes in race two
45:34Guillem-Ferres and
45:37Carlos or Giannis Raceless
45:38will cross the line

45:42we're not quite sure yet
45:43there's Perez fourth
45:45and fifth place
45:46for Carlos Raceless
45:47sixth
45:48for Giannis Raceless
45:49and Vallin
45:50seventh
45:53Langenfelder wins the GP

45:57Camden McClellan
45:5837
46:00Langenfelder
46:01Perez
46:02McClellan
46:02that's how they line up

46:1839
46:1939 podiums
46:21for Langenfelder
46:2310 Grand Prix victories
46:2426 race wins now
46:40classic case of not letting what happened on Saturday bother him
46:44and I wonder how much of that as well was down to the fact that what happened in the qualifying
46:48race when he went a lap down
46:49he unlapped himself that gave him a good mental psychological advantage but anyway Lisa Leyland getting ready to talk to
46:56Simon Langenfelder our race winner and our grand prix winner here this weekend
47:01let's hear from the German
47:04Simon Langenfelder congratulations a double race win victory overall you've got the championship lead perfect start to your 2026 campaign
47:13oh yes I wouldn't say perfect today yesterday it was sometimes those things hurt but I came back when one
47:23from the outside and yeah I'm super happy bike was working great there was a lot of work going into

47:38great job thanks Simon
47:39thank you
47:45almost perfect Simon Langenfelder getting off to the almost perfect start it was a bit rough on Saturday in qualifying
47:51but he made up for it here on Sunday when it mattered two wins out of two 50 points in
47:57the bag and even though he didn't score points in the qualifying race on Saturday his 50 points means he
48:03still leaves here with the championship leaders red plate heading into race two in
48:07and to Lucia two weeks from now
48:23give me the result then Langenfelder the defending champ will be in red next time out in Spain after his

48:55Stuardo Garcia Torado and Mancini picking up the final point no points for Noel Zanocz Lata or Sasha Kunin Kai
49:03Carsmakers also going out

49:16the overall belongs to Simon Langenfelder

49:33a second McClellan third
49:35Everts and racialist Giannis ran out the top five
49:40but
49:40Sasha Kunin despite not finishing
49:42race two ends the day eight overall but he'll be more concerned about that right knee I'm sure

50:45and then we've got Yamaha Kawasaki Honda TM and Gas Gas
50:51Ducati Infantic 10 manufacturers in MX2 in 2026
50:58Ducati the latest to join the party
51:01take a look at the foxhole shot then shall we

56:23Simon Langenfelder, Guillaume Ferez and Camden McClellan, your top three on the podium here at the opening round of the
56:30FI Motocross World Championship, the YPF MXGP of Argentina.
56:34While they get busy with the fizzy, we'll take a look at the highlights from race two.
56:43An explosive start over on the right-hand side as we look down, Sascha Kunin didn't get the best jump,
56:48tried to make up for it, came in too hot here, stood himself up, got bounced into there by what
56:53looked like Valerio Latta.
56:54He then crashed out over the next jump as Carlos Reislis took the lead and that was it right there,
57:02look.
57:04That was part of the issue, Wolffort, Valerio Latta, Sascha Kunin all involved.
57:10Wolffort got up but Sascha Kunin with a knee injury of some sort, he was certainly holding his knee, Valerio
57:17Latta's motorcycle was just too damaged but it was Carlos Reislis who led the way.
57:22This was hard, aggressive riding from the German, he absolutely forced Kieran Perez out of second position.
57:31He re-emerged in fifth but then all of a sudden Langerfelder on a charge, he went after Evertz, took
57:38over the lead eventually.
57:40That was on lap 10 of 16.
57:46But Evertz did not make it hard for him, it was the second time of asking for the German who
57:51swept around the outside of the Nestaan Huswana rider.
57:54From there, he was able to control the race.
57:57Next up was Camden McClellan, he got into the side of the 26 of Evertz as he took over second,
58:03that was Langerfelder just ahead of him.
58:05But in the end, it was Langerfelder who hold on for a double race win, the overall Grand Prix victory.
58:10Camden McClellan, Evertz and Perez, of course the overall going to Langerfelder with Perez and McClellan on the podium.
58:19We will be back in a couple of moments with MXGP Race 2, we'll see you then, bye for now.
