00:00Aqui é o YPF-MXGP de Argentina.
00:04MXGP Race 2.
00:05Adama em Gate 3, Ferbera em Gate 4, Fernandes 5.
00:09Then Renault.
00:10Then Jonas.
00:125-second orders turn.
00:17Gate front's been away once again.
00:21And it's VL.
00:23Oh, I tell you what, coming in hot round the outside.
00:26It was Herlings, but Geisser or...
00:30Renault, 9-5-9.
00:32And Ferrato in the thick of it again here.
00:35He's got Jonas there with him, 41.
00:38And Jonas, who made a great start in race one,
00:41all of a sudden finds himself at the back in turn two.
00:44But it was Maxime Renault who led over the Foxhole shot line.
00:49But Tom D'Al, round the outside, two firing Frenchman.
00:53Well, one a little bit more laid back than the other.
00:56But you wouldn't know it,
00:57the way he just made that move outside, inside, once again.
01:01VL had no mood for hanging around.
01:04French, first two...
01:06The first three riders are all French.
01:09VL, Renault, Fevra.
01:10And we've got Geisser there.
01:12On the 243.
01:15Fernandes to his right.
01:16Adamo behind him.
01:20And then Herlings getting parked.
01:23Having to hit the brakes on the inside.
01:25In around about seventh place.
01:28Well, face full of dirt.
01:30Right down the Bullets' helmet.
01:35Launching downhill for the first time here in this final race.
01:40Tom D'Al coming back towards us.
01:43Up into turn 14.
01:45Renault, Fevra.
01:46Right there in his wheel tracks.
01:48Geisser.
01:50A bright start for the new Monster Energy Yamaha signing.
01:54This time around.
01:55Had a tough race in race one.
01:59Where he came home in seventh in the end.
02:02Well, sixth place in the end.
02:05It took him a while to get going, didn't it?
02:09VL, Renault, Fevra.
02:13Geisser, Fernandes, Adamo, Herlings.
02:16Lucas Kunin, eighth.
02:17Orgmo, ninth.
02:18Veniston, tenth.
02:19Vandonek, 11.
02:20Velandron, 12.
02:22Red Bull Ducati, teammate.
02:24Polacorzi, 13.
02:25Guadagnini, 14.
02:26Oliver, Van Berkel, Polly, Gijimara,
02:28Badiali, Jeremy Siwa in 20th place.
02:32Jonas in 27th after he's come to
02:35with a couple of riders here,
02:36including Parato,
02:39at the start,
02:40going into that second corner.
02:44Circuit quickly drying out now.
02:47Loose, which means the stones
02:49in that sandy volcanic soil
02:52will start to ping.
02:55And anywhere where the riders aren't protected,
02:58they will feel it.
02:59Okay, their bodies are well-seasoned to it,
03:01like a boxer taking a punch on the nose
03:05for 12 rounds.
03:07They become numb to it.
03:08If you take your shirt off
03:09and you sort of,
03:11you see the evidence.
03:18Sends the wind
03:19and the riders feeling it as well.
03:24Have to be a little bit cautious,
03:25and more cautious in one or two areas.
03:35Top three starting to break the way from Gijssel.
03:41Tom Biel would lead the championship on 57 points.
03:44If you put the flag out now,
03:46Febvre would be second on 46 points.
03:48Renault would be third on 43.
03:50Hurlings would be fourth,
03:52tied with Kunin on 40.
03:54The overall Grand Prix would go to Tom Biel,
03:5747 points with a second and a win,
03:58if you can stay there.
04:00Febvre, with two thirds,
04:02would be on 40,
04:04tied with Hurlings.
04:05It would be 25 and 15,
04:07because he's currently in sixth
04:08after his race one win.
04:14But you just sense,
04:15after race one,
04:17this will be a bit of a slow burner.
04:19Yeah, they're all locked together at the moment,
04:20just jostling for position.
04:23You see Febvre there,
04:24how loose the dirt is now.
04:26Sliding his way into some of these loose corners.
04:33Hurlings up the inside of Fernandes.
04:39Fernandes bikes back.
04:40So two does Hurlings.
04:42Hurlings now back in the fifth place.
04:48Fastest rider on track though,
04:50Tom Biel,
04:50who's got a two-second advantage
04:52over Max and Renault.
04:53202.3.
04:56203s for everybody else,
04:57apart from Hurlings,
04:57who was a 202.7
04:58in traffic in fifth place.
05:02There's Fernandes.
05:04In sixth.
05:05Kunin behind him.
05:07In blue.
05:10So three reps,
05:12three Honda HRC Petronas machines.
05:18First,
05:19fifth,
05:19and sixth
05:20here in race two.
05:32track.
05:34Very,
05:34very bumpy
05:35and gnarly now.
05:38Look at that quickly.
05:40The number 84 closes in
05:41on Tim Geiser
05:43as he looks to pick off
05:45for another scout
05:47coming towards us
05:49now.
05:54Swonders and Yamahas
05:55all over the place
05:55at the moment,
05:56isn't it?
05:56Max and Renault second,
05:57Biel third,
05:58nice for Hurlings-Fernandes,
05:59five and six.
06:05Nice under attack
06:06from
06:07the Dutchman
06:08who goes in early,
06:10out early
06:11and they're going to
06:12bang bars again.
06:15Oh,
06:15Geiser manages
06:16to hold his position
06:18there in fourth place.
06:20I thought
06:21they were just
06:22going to come together
06:24for the lap of go
06:26around this part
06:27of the racetrack.
06:31Hurlings goes outside,
06:32gets up the inside
06:33of his teammate
06:34Fernandes.
06:40This time
06:41he finds his way
06:41by Jeffrey
06:43Hurlings now
06:43up into fourth.
06:50I'll tell you what,
06:51the Slovenian
06:51tried to come back
06:52for a little bit more,
06:53didn't he?
07:02How battered
07:02and bruised
07:03and beat up he is
07:03after that crash.
07:05This was Hurlings
07:06going after the guy,
07:07sir,
07:07who left the door
07:08open
07:09and he just
07:10ran him down
07:11the inside,
07:12forced him wide,
07:14hard riding that
07:14from the bullet
07:16as he moves
07:16into fourth place.
07:23Renault under attack
07:25from Vial.
07:56holds it tight,
07:58even tighter.
08:04nice new line
08:05over the top
08:06of the berm,
08:06rejoins it
08:07midway through.
08:09He out,
08:12face full of roost,
08:13once again,
08:15down the helmet
08:16of the 84.
08:18Both the riders
08:18in front of him
08:19coming out of that pit lane
08:20turn.
08:22Beveridge continues
08:23to lap,
08:23fastest lap
08:24after fastest lap,
08:24two minute point eight
08:26now.
08:26He's got a 3.1
08:27second advantage
08:28over Renault.
08:31It was a 2.022,
08:33tenth of a second
08:34quicker than Vial.
08:35About the same
08:36as Hurlings,
08:38who's there in fourth.
08:39Geiser,
08:39second further back
08:41and fifth.
08:41Fernandes,
08:42sixth.
08:42Coonan,
08:42Adonimo,
08:43Beniston,
08:43Orkmo.
08:44And Donnig up to 11th
08:45now,
08:45the Fante,
08:46as he finds his way
08:47past Bonacorsi,
08:48Pallada and down
08:49to 13th.
08:50Then we've got
08:50Guadagnini,
08:51Siwa up to 15,
08:52Oliver up to 16th,
08:53and Joaquin Polly,
08:54Cordoba,
08:55down in 17th,
08:56Blacks Jonas,
08:57up to 18th.
08:59Ferrato now
09:00going with him
09:01in 19th.
09:05Deja vu
09:06for these two.
09:09Vial took the lead
09:10from Hurlings
09:10on lap four
09:11in race one,
09:12lap 14.
09:14They reversed
09:15positions
09:16as the Dutchman
09:17found his way
09:17back past the Frenchman.
09:20High speed,
09:21gnarly racetrack
09:22here in
09:23Veriloche.
09:26Definitely
09:27proving to be
09:28a tough season opener
09:30here in Argentina.
09:43Vial on borrow time
09:45as he launches
09:46down the hill.
09:46He can sense
09:47that somebody
09:47there to his outside.
09:48Didn't know
09:49until now
09:50that it was his teammate
09:50who just blitzes
09:52around the outside
09:52of it,
09:53moves into third.
09:57Hurlings now
09:58going after Renault
09:59and splits up
10:00that French
10:01one, two, three
10:02at the head
10:02of the field.
10:10Interesting to see
10:11the lap time
10:12even though
10:12he was in traffic.
10:17Again,
10:17another fastest lap
10:18for Fevre.
10:18Two minutes.
10:19That's consistent.
10:20Two minute
10:20point six.
10:21Renault
10:222.023.
10:23Hurlings
10:232.012.
10:24Vial
10:25almost
10:25to 2.04.
10:28Vial
10:28under pressure
10:28from Geiser
10:29now.
10:32Geiser looks
10:33to go outside.
10:34You may see him
10:34emerge
10:35on the inside
10:35here.
10:36No.
10:43The urgency
10:44of
10:46Hurlings
10:47here
10:47as he
10:47latches
10:48onto the rear
10:49wheel
10:49of Maxime Renault.
11:01Renault
11:01responding
11:02for now
11:03at least.

11:16Sometimes
11:16you get

11:17just dislodge
11:18the tear-off.
11:19The problem

11:21they all

14:49what is the gap between feather and hurling 7.2 seconds at the moment as he comes in the
14:56land race one was a 17-lap race so we are on lap 7 at the minute expect race 2
15:04to go a similar distance
15:062.016 2.021 for the top two february looking very much in control of this race
15:12he will be a point down on tom vial in the championship vial will be on 52
15:17uh february will be on 54. herlings will be third on 47. herlings will win the rome 3 though 47.
15:25february will be on 45. vial 42. geisser on 33. up hill by the 7th time
15:37well this is the five-time world champion
15:41this two-time world champion tom vial keeping him in his line of sight a couple seconds further back
15:52nice they're keeping
15:55the 16 of tom vial honest and looking like he wants to find a way by
16:02and if that does happen then roman february will be leaving the championship
16:06heading in around two he will take that championship leader's red plate back
16:10and stick it on the front of his kawasaki but
16:13depends what happens in the next 14 minutes plus two so
16:16about 18 minutes still to run
16:18in this second mx2 right mxgp race
16:28seven laps complete gap between these two the allen geisser now half a second
16:39guys they're starting to look a little bit more
16:44like his usual self a couple of pulls of the tear off there before he goes back after the frenchman
16:50ahead of
16:52the allen third
16:57horrible square edges on the run to that monster energy jump coming out of turn two
17:06that berm is looking fragile to the outside as well isn't it just beneath the blue advertising hoardings
17:18so the replay of the start then
17:22renault over the foxhole shot line as he led the way
17:26theouse right there behind him in second
17:35everybody bunching up
17:39there we had carnage here a little bit of ricochet action has
17:43look like Jonas bumped into Ferrato
17:46and there was one or two others in there as well
17:53Evra into the 2.01s
17:54now like everybody else
17:56inside the top four at the end of lap 7
17:59but he was
18:00the quickest still, 2.01.1
18:02Hurlings 2.01.2
18:040.9 for Bial
18:060.4 for Geisser
18:08Bial just dealing with a
18:10lap rider there to the outside
18:12on the 102
18:21so just starting to disappear behind the clouds here
18:25certainly make visibility
18:26just that little bit easier
18:27you've got that harsh, harsh sunlight
18:30when you head up
18:32over the hill or any kind
18:34of time that you're in this direction
18:38full customer here
18:40Roman Febvre
18:41haven't seen too much of him in this race but
18:44he leered at the red flag stoppage
18:48we had a full restart because we hadn't gone two laps
18:52picking up from where he left off
18:53quickly to the front
18:55finding his way past Maximinot
18:57and all of a sudden
18:586.8 seconds clear at the moment
19:002.02.05
19:02Hurlings 2.0.15 so gap just starting to come down
19:06although set to one
19:08Frenchman pulling back another ten
19:10set to two
19:13just out of this left down into the bottom of the hill through the right
19:19just about now
19:2331.3 for Febvre
19:26the hurlings will go through
19:2930.6 and again
19:316.1 seconds
19:41surely over ten and a half minutes plus two to go
19:43the experienced two-time world champion now Roman Febvre
19:46will be able to manage this race accordingly
19:51turn it up when he needs to respond when he has to
19:54maybe even get his elbows out
19:57if that's the case late on
19:58taking a look back
20:00couldn't see
20:02Hurlings there
20:03who gets caught behind a back marker briefly
20:12gap building up between the two Honda boys here
20:14two seconds now
20:19back to VL
20:21Gaisa still not done with the elbow
20:231.6 seconds
20:24that's not a lot
20:25see him coming in the view now
20:27ah back marker
20:27just holds him up Gaisa
20:31nine laps complete
20:335.6
20:34Hurlings on a charge
20:382.04.3
20:392.03.1
20:40for the two leaders respectively
20:44is it going to be a double race win here for Hurlings?
20:46if it is
20:47it's going to have to dig deep
20:50but you just sense maybe Roman Febvre
20:52is just doing enough to stay where he is at the moment
20:55maybe even luring him into a false sense of security
21:04certainly doesn't look flustered at the moment Roman Febvre
21:07but his times have dropped off
21:09did three or four laps in the two minutes
21:13and was pulling two seconds of lap on his rivals
21:15and then all of a sudden in the 2.01
21:17then 2.02
21:17now 2.04
21:20Hurlingsby out
21:21Gaisa
21:22all quicker than it
21:23that time around
21:28Gap's gone back out of 6.6
21:31because Febvre responding by full second in sector one
21:36loses three tenths in sector two
21:42he also knows he can't afford to switch off as well
21:46nicely doubles his way through that turn
21:51through those sand rollers now that are starting to appear
22:04top of the hill bottom of the hill
22:06that's what 6.3 seconds looks like
22:09between Febvre and Hurlings
22:17Gial still there in third
22:18Gaisa fourth
22:19Fernandes fifth
22:20almost four seconds behind the Slovenian
22:21Maximo in sixth place
22:23nearly eight seconds behind the Spaniard
22:24we've got Lucas Kunan
22:27quiet weekend
22:27for the number five
22:29Andrea Adamo eight
22:30Thibaut Beniston nine
22:31Kevin Hawkbow ten
22:33we've got Vandonic
22:34Pallanran
22:34Guadagnini
22:35Jonas
22:36Oliver
22:36Murato
22:37Siwa
22:37Panza
22:38Polly
22:38and Van Ruekel
22:42Bonaclorsi
22:42maybe
22:43succumbing to
22:44the crash
22:46that
22:47forced him out of race one
22:49only complete in six laps
22:51we've had ten laps complete now
22:57Fernandes
22:58eyeing up
23:00what would be seventh overall
23:01this weekend
23:02and seventh overall in the championship actually
23:09which is a better start than last year
23:11tenth overall
23:12at the opening round in Cordova
23:16for Fernandes
23:17who went nine thirteen last year
23:19looking at going
23:21ten five
23:26this time around
23:28former GP winner at Michelangelo store
23:31at
23:322023
23:36hanging on the back wheel there
23:38making sure those bumps get cleared by the front wheel
23:44see how hazy it is now as they head uphill
23:46yes the sun's disappeared but
23:55really get dark here till sort of seven seven thirty ish
23:58maybe even
23:58it's still light eight o'clock isn't it
24:00but the sun is just starting to set here
24:04starting to get lower in the sky
24:06unfortunately it has gone behind those clouds
24:14gap coming down between the first two once more
24:16less than five seconds now
24:20between
24:20Fevre and Hurlix
24:224.8 at the end of lap ten
24:25and after sector three on this
24:27lap eleven
24:28Lucas Coonan here
24:34seventh for the Red Bull
24:37KTM
24:37rider
24:38in the race
24:39looking at
24:40fifth overall in the Grand Prix
24:42fourth overall in the World Championship
24:43after this first round
24:44because of the
24:46qualifying points yesterday
24:50Maximinou coming towards us
24:51still got Lucas Coonan
24:53Lucas Coonan doesn't look comfortable
24:54almost looks like he's
24:57thrown in the towel
24:58but Tim Geiser
24:59charging down the inside of
25:01Tom Biel
25:01Biel looking desperately
25:03over his shoulder now
25:04just wonder whether the
25:05Tong is just starting to wind out
25:07starting to get wrapped around the rear wheel
25:10as this race goes on
25:12a little bit of fade now
25:14he's had a good weekend so far
25:16but maybe the experience of the
25:18the more established stars
25:20now starting to show
25:21as Geiser moves into third
25:33six seconds down on Hurlings at the moment so
25:37just under five minutes to go
25:38you would imagine Geiser will be
25:39happy to sit there
25:40take a top three race finish
25:47that'll get him fourth overall on 35 points
25:52leaving fifth overall in the championship
26:04would it have been any different had he not had that crash
26:08left and battered and bruised back end kicking one way then the other
26:13bit of a moment there for the five-time champ
26:30watch this
26:33oh this is the move on Vial a moment ago
26:36just gave him a nice wide berth there but he was already committed down the inside
26:39with Geiser to make that pass
26:42and here he is crossing the line in third place now
26:45on his Monster Energy Yamaha
26:47gap between him and Vial
26:49in the space of a lap already 2.8 seconds
26:54tell you what this is not done yet
26:55Hurlings is chipping away
26:573.3 seconds now the gap between him and Fevre
27:012.024, 2.017
27:03so Fevre has stepped up his lap time
27:06by two seconds from a couple of laps ago
27:09come back out to 2.6
27:15sorry come down to 2.6 at the end of the first split
27:19Fevre can't afford to switch up he's got tear-offs flapping
27:22on the outside of his goggle there
27:24is that a distraction or not it would be for me
27:30I tell you what he means business doesn't he Hurlings
27:42fans getting behind him
27:45that gap is not 2.2 seconds anymore
27:48with two and a half plus two to go
27:52there's Geiser in third
27:55top two in the top left corner
27:56getting ready to launch down Monster Energy Mountain
28:12Hurlings last year missed the first three rounds of the championship
28:16because of pre-season injuries
28:18it was a slow return to form
28:24as the season went on
28:26didn't get his first podium until round 10
28:28and that was a win
28:29round 11 he also had a win
28:32so back to back wins
28:34and podiums in the last four rounds
28:37and he's all over the back of Roman Fevre now
28:40with just over a minute and a half to go
28:41plus two laps and you sense the Frenchman is on borrowed time
28:45talk about making an impact
28:48the new signing here at
28:49Honda HRC
28:51Patronus
28:53a lot of question marks at the start of the season
28:56when video first emerged of him looking
29:00a little strange on his new machine
29:03lacking intensity at the pre-season international races
29:06well I tell you what
29:06in a very short space of time
29:10after hitting the ground running
29:13the bullet
29:15has pretty much settled in to his new steed
29:19but is there going to be enough of a response here from Roman Fevre to keep the bullet at fake
29:26it was eight tenths a moment ago when they hit the line
29:32and I think Fevre
29:34going back to what I said earlier
29:35may be controlling this race
29:38probably didn't realize that there would be this kind of charge
29:44two lap board will go out next time around
29:50an epic battle between
29:54two giants and an XGP
29:56right here in Argentina
29:58exactly what we needed at the season opener
30:05he's having to step it up
30:06and as he does that
30:08Hurlings has to go with him as well
30:11looking for new lines at the bottom of the hill
30:15the roar of the Argentine fans here
30:17oh he tried to get up the inside
30:19how did they not touch?
30:21how did they not go down?
30:26Hurlings desperate to find his way through
30:28oh launches an attack from out of nowhere
30:32he arrived
30:35and he struck
30:36at the very first opportunity
30:39and you sense it's one way traffic from here
30:41with two laps to go
30:48and it will
30:49give him the championship lead
30:51tied with Tom Biel
30:54and he will take the red plane
30:57if he can stay where he is
30:58but you look at Roman Fevre
31:02who will dig deep here
31:08watch this here
31:09oh
31:15and then at the bottom of the hill
31:16watch this
31:17he already made his mind up
31:19he was going to get out of there early
31:20go straight across
31:22Fevre had to stand himself up
31:25he went through
31:27Fevre staying on the rear wheel of the Honda man
31:30a grandstand finale here at this
31:32season opener in Argentina
31:38Fevre had his pocket picked
31:40and just looking at the body language coming out of that turn there
31:43looks like he may have already backed off
31:47wow
31:48what a turnaround
31:50no points in qualifying
31:52after crashing from 6th on the opening lap
31:56on Saturday
31:58coming home in swap
32:04an out of nowhere win in race 1
32:06when he sprung a surprise attack
32:09late in the race on Tom Biel
32:10he has done something similar here
32:12to Roman Fevre
32:17looking back over the shoulder
32:19wants to see exactly where the number one is
32:21with just over a lap to go
32:25screamed on all the way around this race track
32:35what a performance this has been
32:40when you think he couldn't ride the bike till New Year's Day
32:42that is so quick through there isn't it
32:44picks the front up over those holes
32:46doubles his way through the turn
32:48where there isn't even a double but just another accelerating hole
32:51into the final lap
32:532.8 seconds he has over the Frenchman
32:55he's looking at 50 points for the overall Grand Prix
32:5850 points will be good enough
33:00for the championship as well
33:06because Roman Fevre
33:08sorry Tom Biel
33:11who will take 50
33:1210 from his qualifying
33:142nd and a 4th
33:16from his 2 races today
33:18Roman Fevre will be 3rd
33:1948
33:206 points from the qualifying
33:23where he was 5th
33:27and then of course
33:303rd and a 2nd
33:31if things stay as they are
33:37but he's had to work hard for it
33:39hasn't had it handed to him on a flight
33:41Hurling's on
33:44Geisse
33:47that was for 4th
33:48that was early on
33:48that was lap 3
33:49then he found his way past his teammate
33:52a lap later
33:53round the outside here
33:59of course
34:01Maxime Renault went down
34:02but when he got onto the rear wheel of Fevre
34:06no doubts about it
34:07no hesitation
34:12aggressive move up the inside to take over the lead
34:14with 2.5 laps to go
34:152.5 laps to go it was
34:17wasn't it?
34:19but here he is
34:204 or 5 corners
34:21from the chequered flag
34:27Geoffrey Hurling's
34:31lapping
34:32Jan Panza there in 18th place
34:43down past pit lane for the final time
34:47and Geoffrey Hurling's
34:49goes 1-1 here
