00:00And we're going to talk some more NFL here with our friend George Kurtz here
00:02and get his opinions on what Philadelphia is going to do with A.J. Brown.
00:07Now, George, I want to lay this out for you here, okay?
00:10Last four years, you're 50 and 18.
00:15You've got two NFC championship rings.
00:18You've got a Super Bowl ring, and you make $32 million.
00:23What's your problem?
00:24What do you have a problem in Philly?
00:27Why do you have a problem?
00:30Oh, I don't have the answer for you.
00:32I just know as a Cowboy fan, trade him.
00:34Trade him.
00:35Right?
00:35All right.
00:37I mean, I think they sort of have to at this point.
00:39He's causing too many problems.
00:41We all know.
00:42The wide receiver is the diva position.
00:43So many of these guys cause issues here.
00:45But he doesn't seem like he wants to be there.
00:47I mean, you're absolutely right.
00:48You win.
00:49You're winning Super Bowls.
00:51I mean, at least the division.
00:52You go into the playoffs, get a good quarterback, a very good GM,
00:56and yet you're not happy.
00:57All right?
00:57Fine.
00:58Go somewhere.
00:59Be traded here.
00:59The problem is things are sort of drying up, right?
01:02I mean, could he go to New England?
01:05Sure.
01:05But what if they sign Alec Pierce?
01:07Yeah, well, they don't have to give up anybody.
01:08I mean, don't get me wrong.
01:09Pierce is not A.J. Brown.
01:10I'm not saying that.
01:11But maybe they don't want to give up a one of a three.
01:14If Roseman's going to stand firm on that.
01:16So you sign the free agent instead.
01:18Where is he going to go?
01:19So that's sort of the intriguing thing here.
01:21But as I said, as the Cowboy fan, I want him out.
01:23I think it makes the Eagles weaker here.
01:25I know they're trying to sell that Devonta Smith could be a number one.
01:28He's not a number one.
01:29He's a really good number two.
01:31You know, don't get me wrong.
01:32Good wide receiver.
01:32He's not a number one here.
01:34I just don't think he's built for that.
01:35You and I were talking during the break about Michael Irvin.
01:37He's not built like an Irvin or Morris.
01:39Morris Owens, one of those big old guys there.
01:41So I think he's gone.
01:43I think he's going to go somewhere.
01:44I still think New England might be the favorite here.
01:46But there'll be other teams crawling out of the woodwork, too.
01:48If Philadelphia really is going to move on.
01:50And, of course, I think Roseman would like to get him out of the NFC,
01:53get him towards the AFC.
01:54Remember, Buffalo, probably not anymore.
01:56They just traded for DJ Moore.
01:57So that's another option down the drain.
02:00So I would throw this at you.
02:02I had a conversation with Alonzo Highsmith,
02:05who is on the panel there with Elliott Wolfe.
02:10He's part of the player development there in New England.
02:13And they said two and a three, potentially, for A.J. Brown.
02:18Now, a two and a three, obviously, that's not where Howie Roseman is.
02:22Do you believe that A.J. Brown is still a number one?
02:26Do you think that A.J. Brown hasn't lost anything?
02:29And would you give up a number one for A.J. Brown?
02:32No, I wouldn't.
02:34I don't know if I'd give up a two and a three, either.
02:36I think a three is about right.
02:38Maybe you're going to have conditions to go down to a two,
02:40depending on what kind of season he has or how well the team does,
02:42whatever way you want to put it here.
02:43But I wouldn't give up a number one.
02:45I'm not giving up a number one for many, unless I'm the Rams.
02:48They give up a number one for anybody, right?
02:49They don't mind.
02:50But I protect my draft picks, right?
02:52I do.
02:53And as you said, he's getting older here.
02:56And, once again, I mean, it was the eagle hatred here, whatever it is.
02:59Fly, eagles, fly.
03:00God, I hate that.
03:01But you wonder if maybe – I don't think he was ever a true – do we ever really
03:06think that he was, once again, a Randy Morris, Terrell Owens, Justin Jefferson?
03:10I don't think he was ever quite that – maybe next tier down here, right?
03:13Next tier down.
03:14So I think he's – if I'm trading for him, I'd want to give up a three,
03:17and I'd condition it to a number two.
03:19Roseman's going to want what he wants.
03:20I want a one and a three.
03:21Hey, I want a million dollars tonight from a sports grid.
03:24I ain't going to get it.
03:25So I think it's just going to work like that.
03:27I think he will be traded.
03:28It won't be for a one and a three.
03:29Maybe it's for a late one straight up.
03:31I can see that.
03:32But I think a two is probably where I'm leaning towards.
