00:00I love how you people in Philadelphia immediately turn your back on a guy that you professed your love for
00:05for the last five years.
00:06That's right.
00:07A.J. Brown is now a Patriot.
00:08Yeah.
00:08So I decided to check out what's going on in Philadelphia.
00:11And it's amazing how, when I say you people, I mean Eagle fans, obviously.
00:14Yeah.
00:15How you people have all of a sudden turned your back on the best wide receiver you've had since Harold
00:19Carmichael and Mike Quick.
00:22Maybe I'll give you Deshaun Jackson there.
00:24He was excellent.
00:24As well, who's a very good wide receiver.
00:26It's fascinating to me that all you got to do is trade a guy away towards the end of his
00:33prime of his career.
00:34And next thing you know, it's like you never liked the guy.
00:37And then what's really interesting about the fact that the Eagles did trade A.J. Brown to the New England
00:42Patriots.
00:43I'll get to the Rossini part of it later on this morning because she's not getting any credit.
00:47And she deserves all the credit about how she got the story.
00:52She got the story.
00:54And at the end of the day, if your job is to get the story, she got the story.
00:59Well, Tricwarden and Bertsy got the story using Deep Throat.
01:02Right.
01:03She got the story the same way.
01:05They used it.
01:06They used their own.
01:08In any event.
01:09A.J. Brown.
01:12And so here's the story.
01:13Now, you might remember this.
01:15I think you saw the radio when this happened.
01:17I was on the air at FS1.
01:18I actually talked to you on the phone before my show.
01:22Okay.
01:22Yes, yes, yes.
01:23So I go on TV, national TV on Fox Sports 1.
01:26Uh-huh.
01:26And I say that I know the problem in Philadelphia.
01:29Yeah.
01:29There was a falling out between Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown, and it involves a woman.
01:35Yeah.
01:35That's all I said.
01:36Uh-huh.
01:36Then Adam Schefter goes on the radio on your former station, The Fanatic, in Philadelphia.
01:42And they asked him directly about my report on national TV, and he pooh-poohs it.
01:47Card doesn't know what he's talking about.
01:49There's no problems in that locker room.
01:52Huh.
01:53Well, wouldn't you be damned?
01:55There was a problem in the Eagle locker room between Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown.
02:02And yes, it involves a woman, but not exactly how these stories typically go.
02:08Right.
02:08Here's the story for you now.
02:09Now, Hassan Redick, former Eagle, he, of course, is the guy that knocked, um, what's
02:16his name?
02:16Brock Purdy out.
02:17Brock Purdy, thank you, out of that NFC Championship game on the first series and messed up his
02:21elbow.
02:22That's right.
02:22So Eagle fans love that guy.
02:24Got you to a Super Bowl that year, right?
02:26Mm-hmm.
02:26In any event, Hassan Redick and A.J. Brown, apparently, both had the same side piece.
02:34That is a euphemism for a gumad, a euphemism for a girl on the side that is not your main
02:42girl, your fiancé, or your wife.
02:45It's called a side piece.
02:47Yeah.
02:47And I believe she was a masseuse as well.
02:50Now, so, unbeknownst to, uh, A.J. Brown at the time, I guess, Hassan Redick's banging
02:56the same girl he's banging, but they're both banging the girl on the side, okay?
03:01Now, just to be clear, A.J. Brown, if this story is true...
03:05Seems like it's true.
03:06...was living with a girlfriend that is now his wife.
03:09He just got married, like, a month ago.
03:10Yes.
03:11A week ago, right?
03:11Yes, just a little while ago.
03:12And she seems to have no problem, by the way, with any of this.
03:16And Hassan Redick at the time also had a serious girlfriend in addition to this person, if true.
03:22Okay.
03:22If true.
03:23I think we can accept this fact.
03:25If true.
03:25So, apparently, A.J. Brown finds out about it, and he goes to Jalen Hurts.
03:32Jalen Hurts, according to the story that's now out in public that we're reading from,
03:38was too interested in football.
03:40Yeah.
03:41Didn't want to get involved in some dopey, nonsensical love triangle because it negatively impacts
03:49our attempt to win a Super Bowl.
03:51Right.
03:52Somehow, A.J. Brown viewed Jalen Hurts as not being a good guy because he's concentrating on trying to win
04:01a Super Bowl and doesn't want to get involved or stick up for A.J. Brown and tell Hassan Redick
04:07to stop banging A.J. Brown's side piece.
04:11What?
04:12What?
04:12This is ridiculous.
04:13You know how dysfunctional that is?
04:14Like, and this is why it's easy for me to turn my back on him if this story is true.
04:20Because, again, A.J. Brown is now a married man.
04:24He has children.
04:25I hope they live, they're happy forever.
04:27I really believe that.
04:28Because they have a great relationship and she's happy and well taken care of.
04:31Sure.
04:31Why not?
04:32But in this scenario, Jalen Hurts is supposed to give a damn, not about his best friend's main girl.
04:39Correct.
04:39But his best friend's side girl?
04:42And allow it to distract him from football.
04:45Now, come on.
04:45Like, the one thing that's always been said about Jalen Hurts is that when football starts, it's only football.
04:51Only.
04:51Like, that guy's not out of, look, you're allowed to go to clubs and have a good time.
04:55I want to make sure I'm not, like, demonizing, you know, being a star, having money in your pocket,
05:01and living the type of lifestyle you and I would live if we were them.
05:04Right.
05:05So I'll be very clear about that.
05:07But it's well known about Jalen Hurts.
05:09Jalen Hurts is all about business.
05:11Business.
05:12So if A.J. Brown comes and goes, man, Hassan Reddick's back in my side piece.
05:17You've got to help me out.
05:18Dude, I'm trying to play football.
05:20I want to win a Super Bowl.
05:21That's what I'm doing here.
05:22Right.
05:23So that's the story in Philadelphia.
05:25And that's why, apparently, A.J. Brown had to go and why A.J. Brown wanted to go.
05:31Now, A.J. Brown has done the unthinkable to Philadelphia sports fans despite winning a Super Bowl with the Eagles
05:38a couple years ago against the Kansas City Chiefs.
05:40He came out yesterday and said, even while he was an Eagle, he had a Patriots rug at home and
05:47always wanted to be a Patriot.
05:48And while he accomplished some great things in Philadelphia the entire time, he was thinking, I should be doing this
05:56in New England.
05:57Bye-bye.
05:58Bye-bye.
05:58Bye-bye.
05:58Bye-bye.
05:58Let's go.
