00:00All right, I do want to get to this, Tyler, but I'm sorry.
00:04I feel like I need to read this text, and then I think it's probably best of Tyler, MF, and
00:13Milner to handle this.
00:15That's what they call me.
00:16I'll read this, and I'll turn this one over to you.
00:20It sounds like you all, all you guys want to do is complain.
00:26What do you want? Casario to be fired, or to start all over again with a new GM?
00:32You're out of your effing minds.
00:35I don't even think we said that.
00:38We didn't be, Scott.
00:39Go ahead, Tyler.
00:39We didn't.
00:41We usually don't whenever some asshat chimes in this way.
00:46You, my friend, need to use the ear holes, the holes on the side of your head, each side of
00:51your head, if you got both of them.
00:53Unless you're a Vander Holyfield out there listening with us, which will be cool, but use those holes on the
00:58side of your head, listen, and stop having a case of very, very, very weak-ass fandom.
01:06If you are a Texans fan, demand more from your team.
01:10No one is saying Casario needs to be fired right now.
01:13What are you talking about?
01:14Any kind of deal.
01:15O-line has been a damn problem.
01:19Kind of important.
01:20For years.
01:22As we discussed, if you missed that with your ear holes, too.
01:25I just, I just.
01:26What an asshat.
01:28I know.
01:28Tyler, that gets under Tyler's skin because it, when we get.
01:32It's one to have fun out there.
01:34Casario does good in some other positions.
01:36Y'all think the texter was there for the beginning of the conversation when we're like, hey, are you nervous
01:41or concerned?
01:42That's what Saturday probably was.
01:44Because that was the conversation.
01:45It wasn't, is it possible?
01:48Should he be fired?
01:48Is it, can you be, with a straight face, say that you're not nervous or concerned about it, even if
01:57you're hopeful?
01:58I don't, I don't think.
01:59I don't think that matters.
02:00Like most are.
02:01I don't think that matters.
02:01I just know the three of us and everyone here, and I believe everybody that's a part of this, welcome
02:08in.
02:08Even you.
02:09We appreciate it.
02:11We love your different opinion.
02:14I don't.
02:16I do.
02:19I'm just glad to be here.
02:21But when expectations change, and the expectations for you, Tyler Milner, for the Houston Texans is what?
02:31I mean, I'd really enjoy a Super Bowl sometime in my lifetime, but I won't be greedy.
02:35I'll say right now, I would love to get to an AFC title game.
02:38Yes.
02:38Like that would be cool.
02:39Never done before.
02:40Never.
02:40That's the expectation.
02:41That's the expectation I have for this team, what they have done.
02:45We cannot, and I believe, honestly, that's your expectation.
02:50We can't have that expectation.
02:53And then not have conversations like we don't have that expectation.
02:57And when you have a group just keeping it 100% real, not faking the funk at all, that has
03:05struggled mightily in one area in particular, and that is the offensive line.
03:12And they have now traded their best offensive lineman away with now the ability to have to fill four spots
03:19for a team that, if you just heard the expectations, Tyler just says, trying to get to the AFC championship
03:24game.
03:27Like, when you talk about their track record in feeling that, and they don't have to fill two voids, they
03:33got to fill four.
03:34Yeah.
03:35That is, like, that is, that's where we are.
03:38Just like we can have, we're going to have conversations about the quarterback.
03:42Because you're, you're trying to get to an AFC championship game, and your quarterback can't turn the ball over seven
03:48times.
03:49And I don't, we're going to have conversations about that.
03:51And I don't mind, like, as somebody who does root for the team, I don't mind having that.
03:57What team? Why'd you say it like that?
03:58Why'd you go remember the Titans?
03:59You want to talk about the team?
04:01What team?
04:03Nobody plays.
04:04Yourself included.
04:06Anyway.
04:07Like, like, you would take me down that rabbit hole.
04:10But not, like, you can, I believe in having the same energy for praise and criticism.
04:18So, like, I'm going to give them all the credit in the world for what they've done with that defense.
04:22Shout out to you for drafting Will Anderson.
04:24Oh, amazing.
04:25And Garrett Stingley Jr.
04:26And bringing in DeNeal Hunter and drafting Kamari Lassiter.
04:29I think he's done a hell of a job with the receiving corps.
04:31And finding Aziz Al-Shair, the receiving corps.
04:33He's found some gems.
04:34Yeah, you've done some great things.
04:37Thanks, guys.
04:37Appreciate it.
04:38But, like, with that same fervor, with that same energy that I'm giving you praise for the things that you've
04:44done well, I've got to give that same energy with the criticism of the things that you have not done
04:48so well.
04:49And this is transparently one of them.
04:51Obviously, or honestly, I would say the most obvious of them, right?
04:56The most transparently obvious flaw in the operation of the Nick Casario era, which now includes going into year four
05:06of D'Amico Ryan's, is the offensive line.
05:09I'm sorry.
05:10I want to get to this, Tyler.
05:11But we're just, we're going to slide it somewhere else.
05:13Again, who gives a rip about the defense right now?
05:17And when I say that, I mean that in terms of-
05:20Defense is good.
05:20The defense is cold-blooded.
05:22The defense is probably the best in the league.
05:24Defense is nice, man.
05:25We know they're a championship defense.
05:27They've nailed it.
05:28We know they can do that.
05:29They're probably going to get better, too.
05:31They're probably going to get somebody in the interior to help them.
05:34It's impressive, really, what they've done with the defense.
05:35They are nasty as hell.
05:37Yeah, we know that.
05:40Yeah, I love watching this defense play.
05:42I can't wait to watch them again, see what they do this year.
05:45We know that.
05:46It's a great defense.
05:49But it's that other side and how they have handled that other side.
05:53And so, yeah.
05:54It was a Super Bowl-caliber defense.
05:58The team that won the Super Bowl had a similar-caliber defense.
06:04And you might argue that yours was better.
06:08You didn't have it on offense.
06:11And the reason why you didn't have it on offense was primarily up front.
06:16The reason why you couldn't get stuff done in the red zone.
06:18The reason why you had so many penalties and drive-killing penalties and stuff like that
06:22happened along the offensive line a lot of times.
06:24This has been the issue.
06:26Text line coming in.
06:27It's not about your criticisms.
06:28Y'all said hot seat.
06:29If.
06:30Who said hot seat?
06:32If you can find it.
06:33Who said it?
06:34I know who said it.
06:35You can use the rewind feature on the free Odyssey app.
06:38Find it.
06:39Send it to me.
06:40Eddie the caller said it.
06:41I did agree with Eddie that at the very least.
06:44Eddie the caller said it.
06:44What did I say after Eddie said it?
06:46I said, I don't think that they're going to have him on the hot seat.
06:51I don't know if the McNairs look at him as being on the hot seat.
06:54Eddie said it.
06:55Is that my boy, Robbie?
06:56That's all right, though.
06:56Honest mistake.
06:57But I agree with Eddie that at least the table should be moving.
07:02Something to be talking about.
07:04Yeah.
07:04You know what I mean?
07:06Like, there should at least be some kind of, like, constructive confrontation happening after that.
07:14Why can't we get this right?
07:16It's just for a straight offseason.
07:18Like, what's wrong with that?
07:20The great thing about it is they have plenty of resources and plenty of players out there
07:28and opportunities to go ahead and fix this and get this thing right
07:33and have a realistic offensive line in front of their quarterback
07:38and in front of their running game to get them to the space that they want to get to.
07:43But they've also had those same resources the last three years.
07:48It is.
07:48Wow.
07:48And it is depending on how they spread those resources.
07:53And that's what it's going to be about, again, their scouting department, how they evaluate.
07:58Are they going to say, will trade Laramie Tunzel?
08:04And their evaluation comes back and says, hmm, Cam Robinson.
08:08C.J. Stroud had two bad playoff games, and you had fans that were ready to get rid of him.
08:13But the Texans' brass has not produced a good offensive line since Jesus was a baby,
08:20and we're crazy for thinking that there should be a conversation about it.
08:25I don't think it was that long ago.
08:26I'm just saying.
08:27I'll be honest with you.
08:28Just saying.
08:29I mean, as Tyler knows, he used to preach, Jesus was a baby a long, long time.
08:33Just so that it's been a long time since the Texans had a good offensive line.
08:38I just saw Wade Smith last week.
08:40Made me think about it.
08:42I wish I could have been there.
08:43Wade Smith.
08:44I was like, man, this is the last time.
08:46Tyler's first sermon.
08:48Come on now.
08:49I would have been there for his installation service.
08:51I would have.
08:51I swear to God, I would have.
08:52You were there when Jesus was a baby, Tyler?
08:54No, he's preached on it.
08:55No, but I've talked about it a time or two.
08:57I just wonder where he was coming out of.
09:00713-572-416, Tyler's first sermon.
09:03What book of the Bible?
09:04Oh, I thought you meant Jesus.
09:05I was like he was born in a manger.
09:07No, where do you think he was coming out of?
09:09Where was his text?
09:11I feel like Tyler's a Romans guy.
09:13I don't know what text you think Tyler was coming out of.
09:16That's pretty good.
09:17His first one.
09:17Was it Romans?
09:19Ecclesiastics?
09:20Where do you think Tyler came out of?
09:20It's got to be Paul.
09:21You've got to go radical.
09:24Paul was wild.
09:24You know, Tyler does feel very new text.
09:26Get wild about Jesus.
09:27Could have been James.
09:29Tyler looked like he was coming out with them green Bibles.
09:31You know them green?
09:31Oh, yeah.
09:32I had one of them, Jordan.
09:33No matter what color it was, it was an ESV.
09:35That's for sure.
09:36Can't spell saved without ESV, man.
09:393 o'clock hour.
09:40You've got a chance to win.
