00:00Anna says, hey, everybody, I heard Andy talking about her twin nieces, finding about whether or not they're identical or
00:06fraternal.
00:07And it made me smile because I'm actually pregnant with twins myself.
00:11Ah, congratulations.
00:13Anna said, I've been reading everything I can about having twins.
00:17And I keep running into one topic that totally contradicts itself.
00:20Whether or not to tell them their birth order.
00:24Oh.
00:25Some articles and parents say sharing who's older can create a weird power dynamic.
00:34Others say it doesn't matter at all and only becomes a thing if you make it one.
00:39So Anna says, now I'm overthinking it.
00:42Do I tell them?
00:43Do I not?
00:44Is this something that actually matters long term?
00:46Or am I just spiraling because I'm pregnant with two babies at once?
00:50Would love to hear from other twin parents or twins themselves.
00:54What would you do?
00:55Whoa.
00:56That's so interesting.
00:58Because I think it does create an interesting dynamic.
01:00My wife's a twin.
01:01Okay.
01:02A boy-girl twin.
01:03She is the younger of the two.
01:05Now, keeping in mind that a lot of the twins are born as a C-section.
01:10Now, you can't explain that to children.
01:12So it doesn't really matter to them.
01:14Because Emily was in charge of her little brother.
01:16Her older brother.
01:18Whoops.
01:18All the time.
01:19She was the bossy one.
01:20She was potty trained first.
01:22Because she's a girl.
01:22So to them, it really didn't matter until it was front seat in the car.
