00:05well today I want to talk about something it's overdue to talk about and that's journaling
00:13you know when you're studying the scriptures you want to get your journal out scribble in some
00:20notes talk about your feelings things like that well anyways I just wanted to say that I'm like
00:28that too and I've got some journals I'm not reading them but I just want to show you that
00:35I got some journals and uh but these mine are homemade like this I made this myself because I
00:44once worked at a paper factory so I had the glue gun I had this and that and how to
00:53cut the paper
00:57it's just like a regular book but something to do shorthand on uh you know and a lot of these
01:05except that one that one's empty and I think I got a blue one that's empty but this other one
01:12here
01:13it's full of full of information this is from probably over 20 years ago this stuff's over 20
01:20years ago but I've met like I said I made these uh and here's the other one here
01:32that's my writings there and this is the one I'm getting ready to get done this is this
01:38parchment here this is 20 years in the making and this is one of the only ones
01:42where I actually you know put in and glued diagrams and pictures and things like that
01:51in there because I'm not an artist but I did do some you know pictures and things like that
01:59and here's the one that is that this one the blue one and the other one is the only empty
02:07one
02:07and uh it's got blue paper of course I got one or two more but I got a lot to
02:14write about I got a lot
02:16I got one in there I should have brought it out this thing looks like a study bible it's like
02:21that
02:23and uh I got plans for that but I didn't dig it out but it's in there and uh I'm
02:30gonna I got plans for
02:31that uh I think I'm going to shorthand write the gospels down as my commentary I don't want to do
02:40anything for profit I'm not like on here nothing to do with profits or anything I just want to get
02:46the word out get whatever out challenge your minds is what I want to do that's all I want to
02:51do I want
02:52to have fun do what I do I'm not going to be a millionaire I'm not going to be a
02:57trillionaire I'm not
02:59going to be a penny penny here penny here but uh anyways yeah but I do encourage you guys to
03:08get
03:08journals you don't have to make them yourself like I did buy journals and write your stuff down
03:16all right write down not you know your notes your feelings and everything you know you write down
03:21feelings about you know I believe this because what I learned what I learned was uh 20 years ago
03:28uh to 2003 and 4 you know when I first started journaling but before that it was like the 1997

03:40is when I was really the finger of Yahweh touched me and he touched me and I was like I
03:46need to know
03:46I need to learn I need to do this and uh I did I did the best I can I
03:52started learning you know
03:53scriptures I started learning stuff like that as far as getting familiar with who's who what's what
03:59this and that biblically you know stories everything and then it went it cascaded from that it it did and
04:08uh in 2004 I believe it was give a year before I don't know 2004 what happened was I I
04:18uh yeah I got a
04:20uh my grandma gave me a gift and it was a little journal so I just started writing my feelings
04:27and what I
04:28learned so far and everything and and I still got it in there she uh gave it to me and
04:35uh gave
04:35excuse me I gave her honors like this is my grandma gave me this so I did that and then
04:43uh excuse me and
04:46then uh I uh let me think there's that one and I think there's yeah there's a second one a
04:56little a
04:56little one with a dolphin on it I wrote in that and I actually started really uh quoting scriptures
05:03started doing stuff and everything and uh putting a couple diagrams if you will but then after that
05:12working at the paper mill I was like well I'm gonna start making parchments that's what paper
05:18paper companies sometimes say certain papers are parchment so I just started cutting paper and
05:24everything because we was down everything was slow and sure I should have had a my hand in the broom
05:31and start sweeping but so much you can sweep but I just started making a lot of them and uh
05:37I got them and that's what it was just bloomed out I did uh I talked about you know in
05:47my journals
05:48talk about not just scriptures or my beliefs or of the day and the evolution of it in church history
05:57too I was doing church history noting everything down noting this and that and uh and I could go back
06:05now 20 years ago and look at what I wrote and say wow I evolved I evolved I didn't give
06:14up I didn't
06:15do this or that I evolved and that's it's pretty amazing so that's why I'm saying if you journal
06:20if you especially if you guys are young watching this if you're young start journaling
06:27and then 20 years 30 years you look back I was like wow look at this I believe this but
06:34I evolve
06:35evolved to this I hope I hope I hope it ain't devolve but evolve into you know I've I've learned
06:45so much
06:46more the holy spirit was really gracious to me the father and son but you know they they help you
06:53but
06:54you got to work yourself you got to do it yourself they ain't just gonna let you know give you
06:59a free
06:59pass and let you sit on a beach with margaritas in the Bahamas but anyways yeah it's very important
07:08very important start journaling and you know let me know let me know about your experiences with
07:16journaling or whatever and uh let me know let me know if you could make journals too if you work
07:24in a
07:24paper mill because I just hey all I did was uh cut out cut out some uh what you call
07:32poster board
07:33cut that out and then I grabbed some paper I stuck it stuck it in there stuck it in there
07:40but I had a big industrial glue gun and that's what's like real hard it's binding and never have
07:48no trouble with it but anyways let me know what you think about journaling and uh I encourage it I
