The West Indies will be hoping to seal their spot in the semi-finals, by taking down South Africa in their second match of the Super 8s tomorrow. Both teams are ideally poised to qualify, after having won their opening matches and all their other battles so far in the tournament. It means the team that losses says goodbye to their unbeaten streak and they'll need to win their last match to seal qualification.

00:00West Indies vs South Africa. A final in the Super 8s, some would say. Two teams running hot on form.
00:07The Proteus would perhaps be more confident after defeating the West Indies in their last two outings against each other.
00:14They chased 221 and 174 with wickets to spare and overs in hand.
00:22Batting coach of the West Indies, Floyd Riefer, says history will not dictate the result as it will come down
00:27to who wants it more on the day.
00:30We just played a series against them in South Africa. We played three games there.
00:36Guys like Rutherford Chase and Skipper Shea played in the SCLT 20 as well.
00:42When you play against teams in international cricket, guys know each other.
00:46They play against each other, even in franchise cricket.
00:48It's just a matter of who plans the best on the day, who executes the best on the day.
00:54He says the objective will be to score off as many balls as possible.
00:59Both teams hit sixes, you know. But yeah, the pitch, once the cricket is good, then you expect, you know,
01:05a good padding performance on both of the teams.
01:08I think the main thing for us is, you know, trying to score off as many balls as possible.
01:12Yes, we know we hit sixes, we hit fours, but for us is, you know, to score off as many
01:17deliveries as possible.
01:19Will it be enough to defeat the Proteus? Well, Rutherford says they don't have a point to prove as some
01:24people see them as underdogs.
01:26There's no point to prove for us. You know, we came here like any other team to win the competition.
01:31You know, a lot of people have us flying under the radar, but, you know, we plan every game to
01:36go in there with a positive mentality to win cricket games.
01:39He says the energy is there, and he's not overly concerned that they are going to a venue that South
01:45Africa has played on more often.
01:48Like I said, you know, once we plan properly and execute our plans, then, you know, we will play a
01:54good game of cricket.
01:54So for us, we're not worried about, we're not worried too much about, you know, the venues and, you know,
02:01who played there, who didn't play there.
02:02For us now, it's just coming out and understanding what's needed to be done and execute.
02:08He believes he has a good batting unit because his players have stepped up.
02:12When you look at our team, we have quality batters, and we're not like the other teams.
02:16We're depending on one or two batters.
02:18They feel like our games, everybody has stepped up every game and put in performances, and we've been consistent in
02:25doing that.
02:26And that's a sign of a good batting unit.
02:29The two teams will clash at 5.30 a.m.
02:33Sergio Dufour, TicketSport.
