The final bout of the ODI series will be decided on Wednesday 6th November, as the West Indies are tied 1-1 with England.

Both teams scored impressive wins in the first two, but who will record the decisive knockout punch tomorrow is anybody's guess, but captain Shai Hope just wants consistency from his players.

00:00The narrative of this series has been that of an inexperienced England squad
00:04against the most seasoned and explosive West Indians at home. Yet, the series is
00:08in the balance going into the third and final match tomorrow.
00:12However, Windy's captain Shea Hope is not one of those buying into that narrative.
00:16There's a lot of things we tend to misinterpret the word experience.
00:21Experience sometimes we talk about it being a hundred plus games or 200 plus
00:25games. Experience is just being able to adapt to things quickly because a guy
00:28can play five or six games and be more experienced than a guy who's played a
00:32hundred. It's just the way how he's learning on job, how he's adapting to
00:36different situations that he's facing. But yeah, I thought that yes,
00:40they're a young team, they're very inexperienced in a sense, but good cricket
00:45is good cricket nevertheless. You see Joel Andrew, for example, he's batting as
00:49though he's been playing for a long time. He hasn't played any, he hasn't batted
00:52yet in international stage, but he's showing that he's capable of performing
00:55at this level. Narratives aside, the Caribbean men would not want to drop
00:59this series at home after their recent Sri Lanka tour and the skipper knows
01:03what is required. You can always preach. I'm going to continue preaching as well
01:06is consistency. In order to consider us a great team or elite team, we've got to be
01:11consistent. We've got to shrink performances together. It can't always be a one game
01:15or two games in a series. You've got to make sure we seal it. We've got to play good
01:19cricket all the way through and the sign that we understand all the conditions,
01:23the times in the game that we're supposed to be pressing, the time we're supposed to relax, all
01:26those things. But yeah, we've got to be more consistent, disciplined with our
01:29skills and then ensure that when we get those crucial moments in the game, we're
01:33grasping. The performances of Justin Graves, who has three consecutive
01:36regional Super 50 centuries to his name, hasn't gone unnoticed to the skipper and
01:41while he can certainly use such a performer, he wants to see others pushing
01:45for selection. That's what you need. You need to see that same consistency that I'm
01:49talking about when you go back, especially someone with his experience,
01:52he's played international cricket already. Someone who's had that taste in
01:55an international level, he needs to go back into regional level and show what
01:58he has played in international and show what he's supposed to be above the rest.
02:01So it's great. It's pleasing to see. I'm very happy to see him scoring runs and I
02:05just hope that most of the other guys back in regional cricket can, you know, raise
02:09the standard a bit and obviously push themselves here in this level.
