The National football team cemented their spot in the final round of the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers despite a 2-1 defeat to Costa Rica away from home on Tuesday evening.

Virtually guaranteed a place in the final round prior to the match, T&T needed to not lose by 6 goals to advance, and they delivered much more.
