00:01Pass the aux cord and crank up the volume.
00:05Figgy Figg's in the driver's seat.
00:07Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
00:10It's time for Figgy's Mixtape on Sports Radio 16.
00:15Yes, it is the Mixtape in the Loop Sports Radio 16.
00:18It's your man Figgy Figg holding it down on a white boy Wednesday.
00:22Happy Wednesday to everyone out there.
00:25So before I get started with the Mixtape, I just kind of want to give a shout out to everybody
00:30who reached out to me over the past couple weeks.
00:33For those who don't know, I was out last week.
00:36I was at Cleveland, Ohio the last couple weeks because my mom passed.
00:40So, you know, funeral, had to go to her house and, you know, get all the business part together and
00:45all that stuff.
00:47And appreciate everybody just reaching out, checking in.
00:50Always nice.
00:50So, yeah, just want to give a shout out to everybody for just checking on your boy and all that
00:55stuff.
00:55Yeah.
00:56So, good to be back.
00:58And I'm glad I'm back because I'm kind of right on time for cook-off.
01:02Yeah.
01:03I don't know if I'm going to go Saturday.
01:05Yeah, so I'm trying to figure that out.
01:06Yeah.
01:07I've already sent out some texts.
01:10Yes, TBD on that.
01:12You should have done that before you told us.
01:14See, that's how you do it.
01:15Oh, that's true.
01:16That's how I can tell John at least is too far away from his mischievous child days.
01:22Because as a child, you've got to break something and be like, damn, okay, what can I say that's good
01:27to, you know, be able to.
01:29Yeah, here go $20 right here.
01:30By the way, I broke your toy.
01:33I got an A on that test today.
01:36And then I got whatever.
01:38I got suspicion.
01:38I got suspended for fighting.
01:39But I did get an A.
01:41So, the grades are coming up.
01:42You see that?
01:42You see?
01:43See?
01:43Yep.
01:44So, good to be back in H-Town.
01:46And something I missed when I was out was it got some food collabs, man.
01:52You got, this is kind of the, I guess, the season of different restaurants locally doing collabs and all that
02:00stuff.
02:01And let me play this.
02:02I ain't play this in a minute.
02:04But we got to talk about our backs, man.
02:11Big back, big back, big back, big back.
02:15Yeah, my back is loaded up with snacks and different foods.
02:19Uh-huh.
02:20Squeezed into this tiny shirt.
02:21My big back has no room.
02:24Big back, big back, big back, big back.
02:29Yeah.
02:30Yeah.
02:30Yeah, yeah.
02:31It's that season.
02:33And Trill Burger decided to get in on the big back activity.
02:36Mm-hmm.
02:38They did a collab with crawfish and noodles.
02:41Oh, that sounds so good.
02:41That does sound good.
02:42I'm like, dang.
02:43So, this is done?
02:45We can't get this?
02:46That's the thing.
02:46It's over now.
02:47All right.
02:47That was last week.
02:48You've watched Uncut Gems, right?
02:51Yes.
02:52Every time.
02:53That makes me think of Kevin Garnett.
02:54Why would you sell me something if I can't have it?
02:56Yep, yep.
02:57That's how I feel right now.
02:58I do want to get y'all opinion on what y'all think about this whole collab.
03:02So, I think they had two days of this.
03:04Mm-hmm.
03:04So, day one, they had the Vietnamese, I think it was Cajun crawfish boil.
03:11Okay.
03:12So, they had that.
03:13They had the crawfish fried rice.
03:15Mm-hmm.
03:16They had crawfish gravy loco moco.
03:19I have no idea what that is.
03:20But it sounds delicious.
03:21But it sounds great.
03:22They had garlic Asian wings, chopped cheese, shrimp po' boy.
03:27Oh, my goodness.
03:28Those garlic Asian wings sound good.
03:29Also, I love seeing the Vietnamese po' boy because it feels like those are the two cultures that are doing,
03:35that did the baguette better than the French.
03:37Yeah.
03:37So, you do the banh mi's and everything for the Vietnamese folks.
03:42To me, I think they made some of the best crawfish, man.
03:44Yes.
03:44Just with the sauce and all that stuff.
03:46And wings.
03:46Yeah, wings.
03:47It's one of the reasons why Houston has a great culinary place is our Vietnamese brethren and
03:51sisters.
03:52Mm-hmm.
03:52Yep.
03:52Yeah.
03:53So, that was day one.
03:54And day two, they did scratch-made crawfish mac and cheese.
03:57That was just day one.
03:58Loaded trill fries.
04:01I'm so hungry.
04:01Yeah.
04:02Yeah.
04:02So, these was trill fries.
04:03They had crawfish mac burger.
04:05Mm-hmm.
04:06And then they had the trill-style catfish po' boy.
04:09So, they had crawfish mac and cheese on a burger.
04:11I need it so bad.
04:12I didn't hear anything you said that would be bad.
04:15Yeah.
04:16Everything you said.
04:17I'm all in.
04:17I'm in on this crawfish mac burger.
04:19That's what I'm saying.
04:20Yeah.
04:21Nah.
04:21It looked good.
04:23You could probably go to the Trill Burger Instagram page.
04:26Yeah.
04:27I'm going to do it, and I'm going to hate myself for doing it, because I'm just hungry now.
04:30Yeah.
04:31Yeah.
04:31So, I'm glad I missed.
04:33I'm not glad.
04:34I'm mad I missed out on that one.
04:35That one is unfortunately over.
04:37But you still got some more collabs going on, as I continue on.
04:42The Mixtape and the Loop Sports Radio 610.
04:45This is another local one.
04:47So, are you guys familiar with Crave Cupcakes?
04:50Oh, yeah.
04:51Yeah.
04:51I'm a big fan of Crave Cupcakes.
04:53They got one, I want to say it's off of Kirby, and then they got one uptown, I guess uptown
04:59park near the Galleria.
05:00Right.
05:01And they decided to do a collab with Truth Barbecue.
05:04Oh.
05:05My God, Leonard Botello.
05:07How do these things come together?
05:07By the way, Leonard's going to be at this.
05:09Is he going to be there?
05:10We wouldn't know.
05:12How are we supposed to know we're going to be out here?
05:13Too bad I ain't going to be able to meet him.
05:15Leonard is the man.
05:16One of the best briskets on the planet is Truth Barbecue.
05:19Yeah.
05:20Yeah.
05:20So, this is their collab.
05:22This is what they got going on.
05:23They teamed up with True Barbecue to drop the limited edition of the Smoke and Honey Cupcake.
05:31Is it?
05:31So, you want to?
05:32Wait a minute.
05:33Let me get to the ingredients.
05:34Yeah, I need to.
05:35Because it feels like that is savory and sweet.
05:37You're already out of it.
05:38Yeah.
05:38I'm not.
05:39Yeah, so, all right, here we go.
05:41It got the sweet corn cake.
05:43Okay, I like what we're doing.
05:44With honey barbecue frosting topped with truths, smoked brisket, and candied jalapenos for the ultimate sweet, savory bite.
05:54Dude, I think that would be awesome.
05:55Really?
05:56You in on it?
05:57Basically, what you're saying is cornbread.
05:58Yes.
05:59That's what brought me back.
06:00Yeah.
06:01Cornbread with the sweet and spicy.
06:05And I'll say this again, and I say this as someone who's eaten a lot of brisket in this town
06:10and made a lot of brisket.
06:11Leonard makes one hell of a brisket.
06:13I had True Barbecue for the first time a couple months ago.
06:16It was pretty good.
06:17Yeah.
06:18I really enjoyed it.
06:19I even stood in line for it.
06:20Yeah.
06:21I ain't called.
06:22What's his name?
06:23Leonard?
06:23Yeah, Leonard Botello.
06:24Yeah, I ain't called Leonard like some people would on this show.
06:27I stood in line like a real man.
06:30He's just not going to let it go.
06:32No.
06:34You would have to be happy.
06:36You have to count your lucky stars if we stop talking about this come the weekend.
06:41You're going to get this abuse all the way to the weekend and maybe out of the weekend.
06:44Yeah, you're definitely going to get it the rest of the week.
06:48So if you're interested in this collab right here between Crave Cupcakes and True Barbecue, this is available February 26th.
06:57Is that tomorrow?
06:58That is tomorrow.
06:59Yep, tomorrow.
06:59It starts tomorrow through the 22nd.
07:01So is this going to be out at Cook Offer?
07:02Yeah, so this is kind of a rodeo thing.
07:05Oh, perfect.
07:05And you got to go there, though.
07:08It's at Crave Cupcakes or Kirby.
07:10Okay.
07:10And Uptown, Uptown Park, which is near the Galleria.
07:14Yeah.
07:14And this is only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until sold out.
07:18Oh, so let me just...
07:21Somebody's going to have to bring it.
07:22Yeah, man.
07:23Hey, we can figure it out.
07:25Hell, you know the guy at True Barbecue.
07:27You can have him come up here and bring it.
07:29We're not going to do nothing like that.
07:30All of a sudden, Natalie going to want to go shopping or something.
07:33Yeah.
07:34And we're not going to be able to get nothing done around here.
07:36Yep.
07:36Yep.
07:37Can't depend on that one.
07:38I guess this show going to have to miss out on that one.
07:41Hey, how about a little Uber Eats?
07:44Yeah.
07:44They ain't going to do no Uber Eats for that.
07:48All right, as I continue on the mid-state, Ben Loose Sports Radio 610.
07:52Still a big back activity one right here.
07:54Okay.
07:55Because McDonald's, they decided to get in the game a little bit.
07:59McDonald's has unveiled its biggest burger yet.
08:03Did you see this?
08:03Bigger than the double quarter pounder?
08:06Apparently.
08:07They said this is the biggest burger, and this one called the Big Arch Burger.
08:11Okay.
08:12Huh.
08:12Yeah, so this one comes with, I want to say, Big Arch sauce.
08:16Which is a perfect balance of mustard, pickle, and sweet tomato flavor.
08:21Mm-hmm.
08:21And I guess they come with the toasted sesame and poppy seed coated bun.
08:27Yeah.
08:27And the burger is big in more ways than one.
08:30And this features two quarter pounder beef patties, three slices of white cheddar cheese,
08:36crispy onions, silver raw onions, lettuce, and pickles.
08:41And you want to know how much calories this is?
08:45Oh, no.
08:45Oh, boy.
08:46I kind of know.
08:46I actually don't.
08:47But go ahead.
08:47I just want to eat it and not think about it.
08:48So the Big Arch weighs in at 1,057 calories just for the burger alone.
08:55Yep, just the burger.
08:561,057.
08:56That's not too bad.
08:57I can do two of those and be done for the day.
09:00That's three times the calorie count of the McDonald's cheeseburger, which is at 3.03.
09:05Dang.
09:05And the double, I want to say about double the count of the Big Mac, which is at 5.09.
09:11Yeah.
09:11Just do two of those, and that is my daily intake of calories.
09:15Yeah.
09:15It's just not going to be.
09:15Pretty much is.
09:16It's not going to be a balanced day of eating, but that's all good.
09:18It happens.
09:19Yeah.
09:19So this one drops, I want to say, next Tuesday throughout the U.S.
09:23I think it's going to be everywhere.
09:24So this one is also a limited time.
09:27So I guess they want to see how it does.
09:28Yeah.
09:29You know it's going to be good because they do, you know, it's McDonald's.
09:31They do all so much focus groups and tests and all that other stuff.
09:35I'm curious to know how much this is going to cost.
09:37Yeah.
09:37Because I feel like the price of the Brig of Burgers, they went up a lot.
09:40Yeah.
09:40Yeah, it did.
09:41So this one, I wouldn't be surprised if this one was like $12, probably like $10, $12.
09:46Yeah.
09:47Could be.
09:47Just for the burger alone.
09:48Could be.
09:49Yep.
09:51All right, it's the Mixtape in the Loop Sports Radio 16.
09:54I got to give a salute to my guy, Billy Jones.
09:58Are you familiar with Billy Jones?
09:59Billy Jones.
10:00No.
10:01You're probably not familiar.
10:02Yeah.
10:03I just set it up.
10:04But y'all know who he is.
10:05Oh, okay.
10:05I was like, do I know Billy Jones?
10:07Yeah.
10:07So a situation happened at a Whataburger in Paris, Texas.
10:10Oh, I know Billy Jones now.
10:12Yeah.
10:12So let's go to KHOU with this story about a viral video in Whataburger.
10:18We knew at this hour in Paris, in Paris, Texas, a Whataburger manager fought back when a customer
10:23went too far and he fought back with a trash can.
10:26Yeah, straight up WWF here.
10:28The moment it all happened, caught on camera by a man in the restaurant named Billy Jones.
10:34Police say it started when the customer got verbally abusive and was asked to leave.
10:39He came back and punched the manager and that's when the manager, well, struck back using a trash can multiple
10:46times to subdue him.
10:48Police survived and arrested the customer, identifying as 41-year-old Anthony William, a new host of Spring.
10:55He's being charged with assault and public intoxication.
10:59I guess so.
11:00All right.
11:01I guess so.
11:03All right.
11:03Yeah.
11:03So if you ain't see this video, just try to search it.
11:06He was wailing on this guy with a trash can.
11:09Really?
11:09But it was a trash can.
11:10It was like a plastic trash can.
11:12It was like the ones right next to you, Lopez.
11:13Yes, that's actually what it was.
11:14It was exactly like that one.
11:16One of those rectangular ones, gray.
11:18He was wailing on this dude.
11:20I don't know how much that would hurt.
11:22Hey, man.
11:24Like, I'm going to be honest.
11:25That was the thought that I had.
11:26The guy was on the ground the whole time.
11:28He was.
11:29To the point, I'm like, who is he hitting?
11:31Yes.
11:31I didn't even see the fella.
11:33And then he threw the trash can at him at the end, which was really, I mean, it was real
11:36saucy, too.
11:36It was really like WWE style, too.
11:39It did.
11:39So what I like to do on these type of videos, just look through the comments and seeing what people
11:44were saying.
11:45Yeah.
11:45Somebody said, he got a trash whooping.
11:48Yep.
11:49Yep.
11:49Somebody else said, yes, I don't have a number 25 at Water Whooping.
11:54Water Whooping.
11:55Somebody else said, we need the Whataburger versus Waffle House title match.
11:59See, that's the thing.
12:00Well, Waffle House is winning that, let's be honest.
12:02Look, they're not new to this.
12:04They are true to this.
12:05But I never thought, I never considered Whataburger having that within just the identity of the Whataburger worker.
12:15Like, Whataburger workers, typically pretty good.
12:17Sometimes, you know, the service can be a little slower, but I'm cool with that.
12:20I know what I'm here for.
12:21Man, I'm looking at it now.
12:22I had never thought.
12:23That's two hands over the top.
12:25Yes.
12:26But the thing I will say, because I did say, it is a trash can, and I don't know, it's
12:30like one of these plastic ones.
12:31I didn't know how much it hurt.
12:32Old boy who was swinging this, was it, you say, Billy Jones?
12:35Yeah.
12:35No, Billy Jones with the video.
12:37Billy Jones is the guy in the video.
12:39Oh, okay.
12:39Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:40Mr. Jones was swinging that trash can like it did, like he wanted it to hurt.
12:45Yes.
12:45He's like, this might not hurt right now, but I'll make it hurt.
12:47He was putting his back into that.
12:49Sometimes stuff like that will hurt, though, man.
12:51Of course.
12:52Like, it might not hurt if I, say, hit me with a trash can.
12:54How about this?
12:55After a while.
12:55He also used a fry basket.
12:58Oh, see, now that's where.
12:59So if there's hot oil still, there's still hot oil on that thing?
13:02See, now that's what I'm looking for.
13:04There's metal there, possibly hot oil.
13:06Now we're doing damage.
13:07Yeah.
13:08Yeah.
13:08And the last comment I saw was, Waffle House got 24 hours to respond.
13:13And I think they can respond in less than 24 hours.
13:16I'm sure something's happening right now.
13:18But also.
13:19Salute to Billy Jones.
13:20I'm kind of surprised that this doesn't happen a little bit more because, like Waffle House,
13:25maybe not exactly like Waffle House, but Waffle House, you end up with people who, you
13:28know, have had a little too many.
13:30That's kind of the appeal, right?
13:31Where is it actually open at 2 a.m.
13:33when I get out to the club or whatever?
13:35Yeah.
13:35Waffle House.
13:35Yeah.
13:36Whataburger does a little bit of that with the places, especially that keep their lobby
13:39open.
13:40I'm surprised that not as many people break bad in that way.
13:43Or maybe it's just because Whataburger is more in Texas.
13:46And we understand.
13:48You can't break bad everywhere in Texas because people got that Roscoe on.
13:51Yes, they do.
13:51No, that's true.
13:52But salute to Billy Jones.
13:53And I'll get y'all out of here on this real quick.
13:56As I continue on the mixtape in Luke Sports Radio 610, got to give a special salute to
14:01somebody who's retiring.
14:03He's out the game.
14:04He held a press conference and all that stuff.
14:06I think they're going to hang up his jersey or shirt, whatever he wear.
14:10But salute to Mr. Clean.
14:12Mr. Clean.
14:13What?
14:14Mr. Clean is retiring.
14:16No more Mr. Clean?
14:17Ball heads down.
14:18He actually held a little press conference.
14:20And this is what it sounded like.
14:22He walked up to the podium.
14:23He had his shirt, his white clean shirt framed up and all that stuff.
14:28And this is what it said, courtesy of Mr. Clean on Instagram.
14:33It's true.
14:34Mr. Clean has announced his retirement.
14:36After a career with zero stains on the record, he's ready for new adventures.
14:40But don't worry.
14:42His products will continue to be available to support all your cleaning needs.
14:46What's next for Mr. Clean?
14:48Yep.
14:49Salute to Mr. Clean.
14:49Maybe you got something else going on, but that brother been in the game for 68 years, man.
14:55What are they going to use?
14:56What are they going to do?
14:57That's a bold move.
14:59Hey, they say stay tuned.
15:01Maybe you got something else going on.
15:02Yeah, this is, he going to come back.
15:04He's coming back.
15:04Like, this is just a, this is a PR stunt.
15:06Yeah.
15:07Yeah.
15:07Got to be, right?
15:09Yeah.
15:09Maybe.
15:10All right, so if we got rid of Mr. Clean, what is the pop culture reference to talk about
15:13somebody who's bald?
15:14Because Mr. Clean is the ultimate, right?
15:16You're just all over here looking like Mr. Clean.
15:18Yeah.
15:18Where do we go to if Mr. Clean is out of the game?
15:20The Rock?
15:22Huh, okay.
15:23All right.
15:23Nah, you ain't going to say The Rock because I feel like people use The Rock as if you swole
15:28or something like that.
15:28Yeah, that's true.
15:29Yeah, but who is the next bald head man you just point out?
15:32Who's the most, who's the next most prominent bald head?
15:35713-572.
