Figgy’s Mixtape features two separate viral roller coaster stories—one involving a ride getting stuck locally and another where a passenger was banned after eating chicken nuggets on a roller coaster—plus Luke Mauro grading a SportsRadio 610 staff member’s classic rock rankings and more internet chaos.

00:00We eat ribs and whatnot and listen to salsa music.
00:04Pass the aux cord and crank up the volume.
00:08Figgy Figs in the driver's seat.
00:10Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
00:13It's time for E6 tape on Sports Radio 16.
00:18Yes, it is the Mixtape in the loop, Sports Radio 16.
00:21It's your man, Figgy Fig, holding it down on a Friday.
00:24Happy Friday to everyone out there.
00:27Before we get to the list of Sports Radio 610 employee
00:31who ranked his top ten classic rock group slash artist,
00:38713-572-4610.
00:40I'm going to have Luke kind of give a grade to it.
00:44By the way, I did the homework assignment.
00:46Really?
00:47During that break, I listed my top ten.
00:49And we're going to get yours.
00:50Off the top of my head.
00:51Okay, we're going to get yours in a second.
00:53But before we get to that, would you rather be rescued from a roller coaster,
00:58which is maybe stalled up at the top, or be banned from every single amusement park
01:03in the country for life?
01:06So you would think the easy answer is just be banned from an amusement park
01:11until you have grandchildren.
01:15Because my thing is, I swore off amusement parks once my kids got into their 20s,
01:21and it wasn't that big of a thing anymore, although some adults live for them.
01:25But that's neither here nor there.
01:27Once I had, now that I, my oldest granddaughter is three and a half going on four,
01:32I could see myself sitting on that bench, you know.
01:34Go ahead and play.
01:35Yeah, go ahead.
01:36Go do whatever you want.
01:38Pop, pop, be there in a minute.
01:39Whatever your dad, mom and dad, don't want you to do, do.
01:42And I'll watch you.
01:44And look, I ain't got no kids.
01:46I know you could probably preach to this, but it's nothing better than after y'all finish playing.
01:52Oh, yeah.
01:52That car ride home is nice and quiet.
01:55How many snow cones do you want?
01:57How many ice cream do you want?
01:58Yep.
01:58Yeah, I would be that grandpa.
02:00You get in that car on your way back for a nice little ride, a two-hour ride.
02:05Yeah.
02:05It is nice and quiet.
02:07Yeah.
02:07Yeah, that's good.
02:09So, I'm going to go the other way.
02:09Go ahead and rescue me because I want to be able to be that dude, that guy.
02:13Yeah, I'll probably regret it in years to come, but you can ban me.
02:16I've been banned from Whole Foods this week.
02:18You can ban me from amusement parks as well.
02:21I'm no longer a big amusement park guy.
02:23Yeah.
02:23Yeah, so I asked that question.
02:25So, two different situations happened regarding roller coasters.
02:29Mm-hmm.
02:30And one was actually kind of local here up in Galveston.
02:34Here is ABC 13 news on a situation that happened at, what is it, Pleasure Pier?
02:40Oh, yeah.
02:41In Galveston.
02:42Pleasure Island.
02:42Yeah.
02:43Yeah, down in Galveston.
02:43Yeah.
02:44So, some people was actually stuck on the Iron Shark roller coaster.
02:49This is what it sounded like.
02:50To confirm what's happening, we believe this is the Iron Shark roller coaster, just looking
02:55at the attractions there on Pleasure Pier.
02:57And it says it's a 100-foot vertical lift and beyond vertical drop.
03:01And again, that is the tallest ride on Pleasure Pier.
03:04This thing has been stuck for a good while now.
03:07So, major concern right now, and we do see a rescue happening as well.
03:11That is a crane, and you can see workers there on the left-hand side.
03:15You can see people on the ride at the very top of the roller coaster, legs dangling out
03:21in the air, and the ride stuck at the very top.
03:25Absolutely frightening is what it is.
03:27Now, we watched a fireman go up his ladder.
03:30Let me pull back here.
03:31Look at how tall the ladder is.
03:33This is for a second.
03:34Skyscraper fighting fires, and they're up there trying to get these people out onto
03:38their own platform to get them down.
03:41And as you can see, all of the seats are filled now.
03:45There are, what, eight people on board this thing, and it appears as though that they are
03:50facing up.
03:52So, their backs are to the ground, is what I can see.
03:56All the blood rushing to their head.
03:58They're still a little ways away, but, wow, this is going to be some sort of a rescue here
04:02at Pleasure Pier down in Galveston this evening.
04:05Man, it looks terrifying.
04:07And not only just being stuck there, you've got to get out of it now.
04:11Yeah.
04:12You've got to get out, kind of turn around a little bit.
04:14Yeah, that high.
04:15And get carried all the way down.
04:17Mm-hmm.
04:18So, that's a scary situation, man.
04:21I feel like I've been seeing way too many of these as of late.
04:25Mm-hmm.
04:25Yeah, I'm getting chills just listening to it.
04:27That sounds awful.
04:28I would hate to be in that situation.
04:30I'll still have to do it, because I want to spoil the kids at the amusement park.
04:34I'll be all right.
04:35Yeah.
04:36So, now, here's another situation.
04:39Here's another story about somebody else being on a roller coaster at Cedar Point in Sandusky,
04:45Ohio.
04:46So, nobody was hurt.
04:47The ride didn't stop or anything like that.
04:50But somebody was banned from not just riding a roller coaster again, but banned from amusement parks for life.
04:57So, here is WKYC3 in Cleveland with what happened.
05:02Here is a wild story.
05:04A man has been barred from Cedar Point and all Six Flag Parks for life after the park saw a
05:12video of him eating chips.
05:16In a statement, the park says, quote, safety is a cornerstone of our business, and we have zero tolerance for
05:22inappropriate and unsafe behavior.
05:24Our ride safety policy strictly prohibits all loose articles on rides, including food, which can become a choking hazard.
05:32The statement goes on to say, safety is a partnership between our guests and the park,
05:36and guests must follow all written and verbal instructions for safe riding.
05:40Guests who violate our code of conduct are not welcome in our parks.
05:46By the way, I don't know if you probably don't recognize that voice.
05:50You might recognize that voice if you was a big fan of Cole Pisa back in the day.
05:54And first and ten, Jay Crawford.
05:57That's Jay Crawford.
05:58Jay Crawford.
05:59He actually moved back to Cleveland.
06:01He's working for that WKYC3.
06:04That does seem like they needed to do something, but a little harsh.
06:07Yeah, I agree.
06:07I thought that was a bit harsh, man.
06:09It's one, because I thought they were going, you know, you banned from riding any rides.
06:13Or just get kicked out.
06:14Something like that, yeah.
06:15But damn, you banned from six flags in general forever.
06:19You can't even come to Texas.
06:20Yeah, not for a year, not for three years, for life.
06:26You've got to make an example of this guy.
06:27I kind of want to see the video now of him eating the chicken nuggets while I'm riding.
06:30I guarantee you, you know how they have those pictures, and a lot of people try to act cool.
06:34He was going to have a nugget.
06:36He was going to be eating a nugget in that picture.
06:39Dipping sauce, just kind of.
06:40Yeah, everybody's screaming, and he's there with a little sauce and a nugget.
06:43Yeah, that sauce is flying at everybody else.
06:46That's what he wanted to do.
06:47Yeah.
06:48Hey, you know what?
06:49That seems worth it.
06:50If I'm going to get kicked out of an amusement park anyways, I would risk getting to try to eat
06:55on a roller coaster.
06:56Chicken and nuggets.
06:58For the picture.
06:58For the gram.
06:59Yeah.
06:59That's right.
06:59You've got to pay for life for that, man.
07:01Yeah.
07:02Congratulations, man.
07:02I hope that video looks super cool, because your ass ain't coming back.
07:06That's right.
07:09All right.
07:10Let's get to it.
07:11It's the Mixtape and Luke Sports Radio 610.
07:13Luke, I need you to rank this top 10 classic rock list from somebody on staff here at Sports Radio
07:20610.
07:21I'm going to start with, I'm going to go from 10 to 1.
07:23Okay.
07:23I'm going to just rattle them off.
07:25Number 10, he got Pearl Jam.
07:28Number 9, he got Van Halen.
07:30Number 8, he got Electric Light Orchestra.
07:33Yellow.
07:34Yep.
07:34Number 7, he got Guns N' Roses.
07:37Number 6, he got Queen.
07:39Number 5, he got Led Zeppelin.
07:414, Ozzy Osbourne.
07:443, Black Sabbath.
07:45Mm-hmm.
07:462, Jimi Hendrix.
07:47And 1, Metallica.
07:49Yikes.
07:50He's a metalhead.
07:52Those are, the ranking are the best, not their favorite.
07:56Are they ranked like the best?
07:57Yeah.
07:58Oh, man.
07:58Garbage.
07:59Hot garbage.
08:00I don't know.
08:00I don't think I agree.
08:02I wouldn't include, me personally, I wouldn't include Pearl Jam or Guns N' Roses for Classic Rock.
08:07To me, Classic Rock.
08:08I think that was kind of his debate, too.
08:11Okay.
08:11Because some people kind of tie the line with that.
08:13Yeah.
08:14I think Classic Rock is 60s, 70s, and 80s.
08:16And then you get to, like, they're grunge to me.
08:18Yeah.
08:20ELO would certainly not make my top 10 list.
08:23Yeah.
08:23And then you got Black Sabbath and Ozzy taking up two spots.
08:27Yeah.
08:27That's a lot of real estate for one musician.
08:30I think Led Zeppelin needs to be number one based off of just this top 10.
08:34Mm-hmm.
08:35So, Metallica's up there.
08:37That's fine.
08:37If you could rearrange this list to make it better, how would you rearrange this?
08:41You said Led Zeppelin would have to be number one?
08:44I'd kick about four of them out.
08:45Yeah.
08:45That, too.
08:46But based off of these top 10, I'd kick about four of them out.
08:4810.
08:48I would do Led Zeppelin, one.
08:49That's the easy one.
08:50That's really the only easy one.
08:52The rest of this was tough.
08:53I'd put Metallica, two.
08:55Queen, three.
08:57Van Halen, four.
08:59Black Sabbath, fifth.
09:00Jimi Hendrix, sixth.
09:02And then Guns N' Roses, seven.
09:03Pearl Jam, eight.
09:05Ozzy, ninth.
09:06And then, like I said, ELO is probably the one that is least deserving on this list.
09:11Mm-hmm.
09:12All due respect, because I do like them, but I would put them 10th.
09:16How do you feel about this list, OG?
09:17It stinks.
09:19It's bad.
09:20I'd get about four of them out of there.
09:23Who was the four?
09:25Let me look at your list, because I try not to look at your – I would throw either Black
09:30Sabbath or Ozzy Osbourne out.
09:32Yeah, you got to pick one.
09:33There's one.
09:34ELO, I'd throw out.
09:35Yeah.
09:35Van Halen, I'd throw out.
09:37And I like Van Halen.
09:37Yeah, you don't like Van Halen.
09:38I like Van Halen, but they're not top 10.
09:40I mean, this top 10.
09:42Okay.
09:42Yeah.
09:43I got you.
09:43I got you.
09:44It's tough.
09:44And probably Pearl Jam.
09:46Pearl Jam.
09:46Okay.
09:47And I did my own list.
09:48Okay, I want to hear your list.
09:49I did my list just during the break, 10 to 1.
09:53And again, off the top of my head, so I probably missed a couple that – you mentioned one
09:58earlier.
09:58But anyway, 10, I had Metallica.
10:01Nine, The Clash.
10:02Ooh.
10:03Eight, Aerosmith.
10:05Seven, Nirvana.
10:07Six, The Eagles.
10:08Remember, this is Classic Rock.
10:09Yeah.
10:10Five, Fleetwood Mac.
10:12Again, remember, this is Classic Rock.
10:14You ain't got this, man.
10:15Four, The Who.
10:17Three, Queen.
10:19Two, Led Zeppelin.
10:20And one, The Rolling Stones.
10:23Okay.
10:24Wow.
10:24Yeah.
10:25Would you – so no –
10:27All right, so Luke, which list is worse?
10:29No, this is the best list.
10:30Text in.
10:307, 1, 3, 5, 7, 2, 4, 6, 6.
10:32The Rolling Stones is one.
10:33If you're talking about Classic Rock, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s.
10:38Do the Beatles count for Classic Rock?
10:40See, I wrestled with the Beatles.
10:41I thought they were more pop.
10:42A little more pop.
10:43A little more pop, yeah.
10:44Because I would have put the Beatles and Rolling Stones are the top two.
10:47Yeah.
10:47Led Zeppelin.
10:47Those are the top three.
10:49Yeah.
10:49Queen, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles.
10:51I like all those.
10:52It's Nirvana, again, going back to –
10:54What is it?
10:55It's Classic Rock now.
10:57I guess so.
10:58Yeah.
10:58Aerosmith, I feel, checks a lot of boxes with Classic Rock.
11:02Yeah, Aerosmith and The Clash would be two that I don't know if they would crack the top
11:06ten.
11:07And I like The Clash.
11:08Aerosmith, solid.
11:09Yeah, no, I would say this is a better list than that Lopez just did.
11:13I do think that's a better list.
11:15And that's a pretty solid list, too.
11:17And again, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, that's an age-old conversation.
11:20I just think six decades.
11:23Five, six decades.
11:25And they do every genre.
11:26They can play every style of music.
11:28No, they're great.
11:29Yeah, I think every list needs to begin.
11:31Beatles, if we include Beatles.
11:32Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin should be top three.
11:35Yeah, could have been whatever order.
11:36Queen is either four, five, or six.
11:38They're way up there.
11:39Oh, and the other one that you didn't have, Pink – oh, we already went over this.
11:42Oh, yeah.
11:44He hates Pink Floyd, so they're not going to make it.
11:46I'm surprised you ain't got The Doors on there, man.
11:48The Doors, you know, that's a good one.
11:50That's a good one.
11:51Yeah.
11:52Yeah, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Rolling Stones are always my top.
11:55And I used Roman, like Pink Floyd, and The Who to round out the top five.
11:58Yeah, I had The Who four, yeah.
11:59And then Eagles.
12:00I do forget about the Eagles.
12:01They certainly should be up there.
12:03Fleetwood Mac, solid.
12:04So, yeah, those are the top ones.
12:06Okay.
12:06So, you all want to take a wild guess who lists this?
12:09I do.
12:09I do.
12:10It's been bouncing around.
12:11And notice I said Sports Radio 610 staff.
12:14Staff.
12:15Yeah, this is anybody that works for Sports Radio 610.
12:18It could be program director.
12:19It could be producer.
12:21Is it Jared?
12:23No, no, it's not Jared.
12:25I'm going to say Patrick Creighton then.
12:27That was my thought.
12:28Yeah, you're already checked.
12:29I was going to say Patrick Creighton originally, but then I don't think he'd put ELO on there.
12:34Honestly, I don't know.
12:35I don't know.
12:36My other thought was then Bajani.
12:38I was thinking about the late night guys.
12:39But Bajani is, I think he's more, you know, he's not into all the pop culture and music
12:43stuff as much.
12:44And I think he's also more like hard rock or like metal-ish.
12:48So, honestly, I have no idea.
12:50This list is from one Ben Gary.
12:53Ha!
12:54That actually checks out.
12:56That checks out.
12:57Yeah, he said to the Metallica, he got them number one.
13:00Black Sabbath and.
13:02Come on, Ben.
13:04He was reaching there.
13:06He was reaching there.
13:09That's funny.
13:10I wouldn't have guessed, Ben.
13:11Shout out to Ben Gary, man.
13:12I appreciate the list a little bit.
13:15It kind of showed me.
13:16I'm like, okay, I see what type of style he's in.
13:19I don't think I've ever talked music with Ben, so now I'm glad I know his.
13:22He's a big music guy.
13:24We were kind of going back and forth.
13:27Not in a bad way.
13:28Kind of agreeing.
13:29Yeah.
13:29Because a hot take for me, I'm not a big fan of the Doobie Brothers.
13:33So, I do like the one Michael song.
13:37What?
13:37What a Fool Believes?
13:39No.
13:41Not in Love Anymore.
13:42Oh, I forgot the name of that song.
13:43Not in Love Anymore.
13:45I do like that song.
13:47I keep forgetting.
13:48Yeah, I keep forgetting that name of it.
13:50So, I keep forgetting the name of that damn song.
13:53That's right.
13:53Now you'll remember.
13:54Yeah, yeah.
13:55So, yeah, he's not a fan of the Doobie Brothers at all.
13:58So, salute to Ben Gary.
14:02All right.
14:03I'll get y'all out of here on this real quick.
14:05It's the mixtape in the Loot Sports Radio 610.
14:08So, a video was going around of a lady.
14:10It was a body cam footage.
14:12I think this was back in February of a woman being pulled over in Palm Beach.
14:17And after the officer claimed that she was using her phone, using the phone in her right
14:22hand while driving, the woman actually pulled up her hand and she actually don't have a hand.
14:28I saw the video.
14:30She goes, she raises her hand and she goes, so.
14:34Yeah, so, this is what it sounded like from the body cam video.
14:38Hello, ma'am.
14:39Hey, good morning.
14:40I'm Debra Riga Sala with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
14:42This is why you're being pulled over.
14:44In the city of Lake Worth, today we're doing an operation for distracted driving.
14:46You drove past me holding the phone with your right hand, manipulating that phone.
14:49I mean, I saw you with your phone in your hand.
14:52So, obviously not.
14:53That's what you're saying.
14:53Obviously not.
14:54So, you want to just call this a day?
14:56I don't want to call a day.
14:57You had a hand up, manipulating that phone.
14:59You just said my right hand.
15:00Well, I thought I saw you with your right hand.
15:01So, you didn't.
15:03The right hand.
15:03I saw you manipulating.
15:05So, you didn't.
15:05With the right hand, perhaps not, right?
15:07You didn't see me with my right hand.
15:09You're saying that you saw me with your right hand.
15:11I know what I just said.
15:11I know what I just said.
15:12I'm asking you now.
15:13Did you or not have your phone in your hand?
15:16You did not have your phone in your hand.
15:17I did not.
15:17Hand to God, you did not have your phone in your hand.
15:19Hand to God.
15:19Other one.
15:20The other hand to God, you did not have your phone in your hand.
15:22Hand to God.
15:23Cool.
15:23You got your dog's license?
15:24Yes, I do.
15:25Yeah, so for those who don't know, she's an amputee.
15:27She has no right hand at all.
15:30And when he said hand to God, she raised the one that was amputated.
15:36So, she actually got a.
15:38I want to say she actually was supposed to appear in court over this.
15:42I think she got a ticket and all that stuff.
15:44And she was prepared to go to court, to the courthouse.
15:48And this is her outside the courthouse kind of updating everybody on this bizarre situation.
15:54Okay, so we had court this morning and dismissed.
15:59So, apparently it was dismissed over the weekend.
16:01Yesterday night when I went and checked the time to make sure that I was going to be there on
16:05time.
16:06All that jazz.
16:07Because it showed dismissed, but I am not one for taking a chance.
16:12So, I went ahead and went to court this morning and got a handy dandy paper that says dismissed.
16:18And you guys, I cannot make up the reason behind why it was dismissed.
16:24It says lack of evidence.
16:27Bruh, we knew that already.
16:30Okay?
16:31I didn't see that one.
16:33I didn't get the follow-up.
16:34Lack of evidence.
16:35Yeah.
16:37Yeah.
16:37Yeah, if you want to check this lady out, her name on Instagram is SlightlyOff.Balance.
16:47SlightlyOff.Balance.
16:48And she's apparently pretty active on there, too.
16:51I think she was lifting weights and all that type of stuff.
16:55Yeah.
16:55She's active.
16:56But can she fire a gun like that other guy?
16:58Oh, my God.
16:58You remember that guy?
16:59Yeah.
17:00That guy's unbelievable.
17:01The guy with no arms, no legs.
17:03Bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop.
17:05Accused of murder.
17:06Yeah.
17:06Killing somebody and driving off in a Tesla.
17:08Yeah.
17:09All at the same time.
17:10Yeah.
17:11Wild.
17:11So, wait.
17:12It's clear in this video, it is clear that she doesn't have a right hand.
17:15No, she raised her hand.
17:15The cop didn't see it?
17:16Yeah.
17:16Because he kept questioning her.
17:18Like, it should have been very obvious then.
17:19Like, oh, no.
17:20Yeah.
17:20He said you had your phone in your right hand, and she raised it up.
17:23It was a nub.
17:24Can we call it a day?
17:26Yeah.
17:27Then he was just like, swear to me.
17:29Yeah.
17:30You didn't have to.
17:30Right?
17:30You think you just dropped it at that point.
17:32Like, oh, my bad.
17:33Sorry.
17:34Lack of evidence.
17:34I wonder if she really did have the phone in her hand.
17:37I wonder if she had a prosthetic and, like, just kind of took the prosthetic off.
17:43I don't think she did.
17:44Yeah.
17:45Hided under the seat and said, look, I don't have a right hand.
17:47I didn't have the phone in my right hand.
17:49That's a good conspiracy theory.
17:50She seemed like she was very believable in this.
17:52But I wonder, because some people, sometimes we drive with no hands.
17:57We might use our knees or something like that.
17:59Yeah.
17:59We might be eating food and all that stuff.
18:01I wonder if she was on the phone with her left hand and was using her knee to drive
18:05and all that stuff.
18:06Sometimes people become professionals at that type of stuff.
18:09It's not safe, but sometimes people become pretty good at that.
18:12I wonder if she was doing that and just, like, messing with the cop.
18:16Yeah.
18:16That's true.
18:17Could have.
18:18Yeah.
18:18But he was so insistent it was the right hand.
18:20So, you know.
18:21Dismissed.
18:21No evidence.
18:22Not enough evidence.
18:23Yeah.
18:24Yeah.
18:24Getting some love for Lopez's list on the text line.
18:27All right.
18:28See?
18:28And, of course, all sorts of bands coming in.
18:30CCR, ACDC, KISS, Rush.
18:33Don't get Seth started on Rush.
18:35The shop.
18:36Yeah.
18:37Yeah.
18:37Seth was singing as Rush.
18:40So, yeah.
18:41Anyways.
18:41Grateful Dead, The Doors.
18:43Yeah.
18:44We could have a whole debate on top ten rock bands.
18:47But your list might be better than Ben Gary's, all due respect to him.
18:51Yeah.
