44:39It wasn't accidental that the children died.
44:42It was deliberate, essentially.
44:46They weren't given enough to eat.
44:48They were not properly looked after.
44:50Their mothers were not allowed to look after them properly.
44:53And so they died in very large numbers.

46:02Kleinkindern von Polinnen und von sowjetischen Zwangsarbeiterinnen
46:06in deutschem Gewahrsamen zwischen 1943 und 1945

46:51ist die eigentliche Geschichte dieses Bunkers,

46:54Der Bunkerbau beginnt Anfang 1943.
46:57Die ersten Arbeiten werden von den Alliierten kontrolliert,
47:00überwacht und entdeckt.
47:01Dann haben wir über zwei Jahre dichteste Überwachung.
47:05In dem Moment, wo sie feststellen,
47:07jetzt beginnen die Endausbauarbeiten am Dach,
47:10fliegen die einen Angriff.

50:14She married Adolf Friedländer in Theresienstadt
50:17after the camp was liberated
50:18and in 1946 emigrated with him to the USA,
50:22where she worked as a seamstress and a travel agent.
50:26Her husband died in 1997.
50:29In 2010, Margot Friedländer returned to Berlin to live.
