00:28if they do real things to address that offensive line.
00:35Usually I don't take them serious when it comes to addressing
00:38their offensive line with where they have finished up at.
00:41Things are fixable.
00:42And this isn't after the season.
00:44This is once we see the plan, once we understand their game in two years ago,
00:50game plan, Kenyon Green going to be the starter
00:56and we're not going to have any competition with him.
00:59He's just going to be there.
01:01Juice Scruggs going to be the center.
01:03Here we go.
01:04Draft him in a second round.

01:09Then Kendrick Green had to play.
01:11I mean, all this, it was rough.
01:13Last year, needed offensive line, traded away Tunzel,
01:16brought in Lakin Tomlinson, brought in Ed Ingram,
01:19drafted a rookie, the only person on the offensive line
01:22they drafted in the draft last year,
01:24although Ursary did work out pretty well for them,
01:28brought in Cam Robinson to be the starting left tackle,
01:31moved Titus Howard in, decided on their own, Clint,
01:35to open the season starting Cam Robinson and Ariante Ursary,
01:39a rookie at left tackle, a rookie at right tackle,
01:41as their tackles with Titus as a guard.
01:44Didn't really take them serious.
01:46Clint, I want to take them serious in fixing this offensive line
01:52and to me, what they do with Titus Howard
01:56is going to be the thing that I really take serious.
02:01Like, how they decide to move with him.
02:04Because to me, like, he should not be the plan at guard.
02:10You don't like him at a guard at all,
02:11so you think it's move to tackle?
02:13To me, not, like, if you're serious,
02:15to me, if you're serious, not the game plan to go in.
02:18No, like, if something happens, but your game plan,
02:22we want to really get our, fix our interior offensive line.
02:27To me, to take that serious, I think you're going to go get
02:30interior offensive linemen.
02:34I'd rather they, I'd rather they move on from him.
02:37Like, I'd rather they trade him than to make,
02:40than to have him play guard again.
02:42It is hard for me to take them serious in fixing their offensive line
02:47if they don't go and get a real guard
02:51and they force him to play that guard position.
02:53I just, like, it's time, as we've said for years,
02:57let guys play the position that they should play.

03:00And that, to me, will be really telling to see how serious they are about this.
03:05Yeah, I'm torn, I'm torn only because, you know,
03:10I think you've got, either way you go with Titus Howard,
03:14you've got a, you've got a hole to feel, right?
03:15I mean, you've got a void to feel.
03:17And so, you look at the right tackle position,
03:21where I'm, where I'm stuck is, I would really like Trent Brown back.
03:25I just, personally, I would like Trent Brown back.
03:30And you roll with it from there.
03:33Bring Ed Ingram back and kind of keep things as they are.
03:36If you're not going to do that, if Ed Ingram's not the option,
03:39and you do, I'm sorry, if, if, if, if Trent Brown is not the option
03:43at right tackle and you do need a tackle, I'm, I'm, I'm getting down with you.
03:47I can get right there with you of, of, hey, let's,
03:50let's make Titus Howard a right tackle.
03:51Let's leave him at right tackle.
03:53I would argue that his time at guard has probably improved his run blocking
03:56and, and his physicality at tackle position.
03:59So let's chalk that up as a win.

04:01He's not a train wreck at guard.
04:03He's, he's gotten better, but I like it's, he's not like.
04:07The problem, the problem, the, the, the biggest problem for me, Ron,
04:11with where you're coming from is if, if you move Titus Howard to right tackle,
04:16you now have got to go either resign or find two guards in a center.
04:21That's a big hole up front, man.
04:23I mean, that, that is, that's a lot.
04:25You got to sign.
04:25You got to, hopefully they bring.
04:26Back at Ingram, but I don't know if they're going to want to pay him
04:28what he's going to command.
04:29And then you're, so then you're looking at three voids in the middle.
04:32I mean, unless they're just in love with Jake Andrews, which may be the case,
04:35but they might be, but, but I'm with you.
04:37I think, I think they need to do center.

04:43agent, Jake Andrews being a late cut in new England last year and a guy that
04:47you plugged and played cause he knew the system and Titus Howard moving back to
04:51tackle your interior offensive line is a mess.
04:54But again, like, I mean, what we're talking about is exactly what the bears did.

04:59And we've got a center and a guard.
05:00They wouldn't get two guards.
05:01They went and they went and got guys that had played in the league that were pro
05:07bowlers or all pros in the league.
05:09And they said, we're not going to mess around with it anymore.
05:12And we're going to, and we're going to do that.

05:15Like, and to me, like if you are one who's like, I really love Trent Brown, I
05:19think I'm, I'm a little concerned with the injury stuff with him, but if you're
05:22one, I'm in love with Trent Brown, like to me, then cool, like let's stop paying
05:29Titus Howard, right.
05:31Tackle money to play guard, play guard.
05:33And to play guard to where I would say for me, like average consistently is where is,
05:40is, was where he is.
05:41Yeah.
05:42And I think he's above average at right tackle, right?
05:45Like in my, in my mind, Tyler, if I said to you week one to start the season, we had
05:52three guys out there.
05:53We had cam Robinson at a tackle left area onto nursery, a rookie at right tackle.
05:59And we had Titus Howard at guard.
06:01Who's the best tackle of the three to start the season, but Titus, that's weird.
06:07That's that is absolutely strange.
06:09The way he responded or yes, but yes, but the thing trying to give you some
