00:57We are known as one of the world's largest integrated energy companies, yet we are equally a knowledge powerhouse with

01:20Aramco embarked on a digital transformation journey more than eight years ago.
01:25This journey placed us on the top quartile of digital maturity among industrial peers.
01:33Today, I want to zoom into our digital transformation blueprint, the blueprint that got us there.
01:42Our digital journey began with a clear vision. To be the world's leading digitalized energy company. Transforming this vision into
01:54reality, though, is undoubtedly a significant undertaking.
01:59Our blueprint has technology at its core, as you would expect. And we have crafted a comprehensive ecosystem around it.
02:10An ecosystem of five pillars working in harmony to push our digital transformation forward.
02:17Let's deep dive into the blueprint. We knew from the start that a resilient digital core is non-negotiable.
02:27It is the launchpad for all innovative solutions.
02:32In the industrial sector, the digital core covers connectivity, advanced computing, and applying cutting-edge technology solutions such as AI
02:43and industrial IoT.
02:46All, of course, must be secured by a robust cybersecurity framework.
02:52Consider our operational landscape. Vast deserts, remote offshore rigs, and deep exploration fields.
03:00Conventional connectivity simply won't cut it.
03:03That is why we deployed our best portfolio of connectivity technologies, including LEO satellites, to conquer these unique geographical challenges.
03:15Besides connectivity, advanced computing is another cornerstone of the technology core.
03:24At Aramco, high performance computing powers everything from seismic data analysis to reservoir simulations and AI applications.
03:34This is why we built the MAM7 supercomputer in 2021 and launched our AI supercomputer in 2024 as part of
03:46the engines that drive our digital innovation.
03:49Looking beyond today's horizon, Aramco is pioneering quantum computing in Saudi Arabia.
03:57Our partnership with the French innovators at Pascal will install Saudi Arabia's first quantum computer, a 200 qubit system, in
04:08the near future.
04:09Leveraging this digital foundation, Aramco developed innovative digital solutions driven by investment and enabling platforms.
04:19To share a few examples of our solutions, we built one of the first industrial scale large language models powered
04:28by our dedicated AI supercomputer turning massive data into actionable intelligence.
04:35We are also leveraging Gen AI in industrial maintenance and monitoring, running LLMs on edge devices and drones to empower
04:47our teams with real-time data diagnostics and repair guidance.
04:52Boosting productivity, reducing downtime and expediting emergency response.
05:01The last but not less critical component of our digital technology core is cybersecurity.
05:09New technologies inherently bring new risks.
05:13AI, for instance, introduce novel threats.
05:18At Aramco, we launched our Eye on AI program, embedding cybersecurity from the initial design to the final deployment of
05:27AI models.
05:29Connectivity, computing, solutions, and cybersecurity formed our digital core.
05:38Yet, the pillars that complement our core are as important.
05:44The first pillar is our people.
05:48We recognize from day one, the digital transformation is not about systems and softwares.
05:54It is fundamentally about empowering our people.
05:58Technology is a tool, but people are the true transformation drivers.
06:05This is why we launched company-wide digital upskilling programs through engagements with leading institutions like INSEAD and IE University,
06:16equipping our people with the mindset needed to champion digital transformation.

06:27While it is important to spread digital awareness across the organization, it is also imperative to keep the business challenges
06:36in mind.
06:38We had to strike a balance.
06:41Find the sweet spot where rapid technology adoption meets core business challenges.
06:49The third pillar is fostering innovative culture.
06:54In today's hyperspeed tech landscape, keeping pace is not enough.

07:03That is the vision behind Aramco SAIL, the Saudi Accelerated Innovation Lab.
07:12It is a dynamic ecosystem where industry, talent, startups, and academia converge to co-create the future.
07:22Of course, no organization can undertake this journey alone.
07:29And hence, our fourth pillar, strategic collaborations.
07:34We actively establish partnerships to amplify our capabilities and accelerate our digital ambitions.
07:44Here in Europe, we are proud to collaborate with companies like Pascal, as I mentioned earlier, NovaSpace and Thalys on
07:53quantum, space, and satellite technologies.
07:57The last pillar is targeted investments.
08:02While perhaps not applicable to every organization, for us at Aramco, strategic venturing is vital.
08:12Via our venturing arm, Aramco Digital, we invest in disruptive technologies across various sectors, including sustainability and digital, with the
08:24intention of driving diversification and long-term growth.
08:29Our recent $4 billion injection into Aramco Ventures places it as one of the top corporate venturing funds globally, with
08:41a total fund size of $7 billion, underscoring our effort in seeding future innovations.
