00:45Le principal focus pour nous ce qu'on a fait pour nous, c'est notre 20 ans d'anniversaire.
00:50Nous avons créé notre premier office en Paris 20 ans, en 2003.
00:55Donc, ici, vous avez une timeline de notre biggest achievement en France.
01:01Donc, je ne vais pas aller vers tout ce qu'il y a, parce qu'il y a beaucoup de

01:05Mais, si vous voulez que vous devez vous rappeler quelque chose,
01:09Juste, keep in minde, that in 20 years, we've been opening five R&D centres all over the country.
01:16One fundamental research centre in the centre of Paris.
01:20We also have been opening a lot of new activities, including our digital power activities,
01:27because we went from a pure telecom player to a full tech player.
01:34And I think, potentially, most people might know Huawei best for mobile phone handsets,
01:40but as you've hinted at there, Huawei does a lot more than that.
01:43Would you mind showing us some of your latest innovations?
01:45Sure.
01:45I mean, I think just to make sure that everyone is in touch with Huawei activities,
01:53we can start with smartphones.
01:54So, here you have our latest product.
01:59You have the Mate X3, which is a foldable device that actually got released a couple of weeks ago.
02:08And here you have our flagship.
02:11Let me put that right.
02:14Okay.
02:15Here you have our P60, which is the last Huawei device that got out a couple of weeks ago as
02:24well.
02:24Both were released in May.
02:28And just so you know, they've been in part designed by our design centre in Paris.
02:34So, when I was telling you that R&D in France is very important for Huawei,
02:40you can actually see that through the product we've been releasing.
02:43And something more to do with the home now, energy and home infrastructure.
02:48Let's have a look at this innovation right here.
02:51This is Fusion Solar Residential Solutions.
02:54Tell us more.
02:55Yeah, exactly.
02:56So, as I was saying, we used to be a pure telecom player,
03:01but we've been opening our portfolio of solutions.
03:03And we launched a couple of years ago a new activity dedicated to solar energy.
03:10So, we do not build solar panels, but we are helping to convert direct current to alternative current.
03:19And one of the main markets we are addressing is actually the residential market.
03:24With that device here, it's an inverter.
03:26You actually plug that to the panel and it's helping to transform the energy to be then put back in
03:35the electrical network.
03:38Fantastic.
03:39Okay, let's go around the corner.
03:41Sure.
03:41Have a look at another aspect.
03:43Something different once again.
03:45Not to do with energy this time.
03:46This is to do with internet connections.
03:49Sure.
03:51So, here you have the FTTR solution.
03:56So, it's fiber to the room.
03:58FTTR means fiber to the room.
04:00And so, it's a new type of fiber.
04:02It's actually, it looks like a noddle, to be honest with you.
04:05It's super small, super discreet.
04:07And it's used to connect each room of your place with internet, with high-speed internet.
04:13It's supposed to improve your in-house connection.
04:19Now, I'm going to show you what we have in terms of 5G.
04:23So, we are mainly known for 5G.
04:27We are the technological leader of 5G solution.
04:30And here you have a presentation of a couple of case studies we've been deploying across the world around 5G
04:39-to-be.
04:40So, we are mainly working for smart factory, but also mining, but also healthcare.
04:47I'm not going to go over everything, but through that screen, we are showing some best practices in the domain
04:55of 5G.
04:56And so, it's your 20th anniversary in France.

05:03What are you hoping to get out of being here at VivaTech?
05:06It's a very important moment for us.
05:09I mean, VivaTech is now the biggest tech event in Europe.
05:13So, it's very important for us to show what we are providing in terms of digital transformation, but also energy
05:20transition.
05:21Because we believe that digital needs to be in the service of green transition.
05:26And this is what we are here for.
05:28This is what we want to explain during those three days.
