00:00If you have night terrors though or something and you wake up and you
00:03Yeah, you you jolt like you're gonna hit your head on a 2x4 and it's gonna suck. This thing sucks
00:07by the way
00:09Don't put master locks on your trailer like they can very easily be bolt cut
00:39Hey, what's going on? This is Jamie from Knoll. We're on tour with agriculture right now playing Chicago tonight at
00:44the Empty Bottle
00:45We have a sold-out show and I'm here to show off our sweet sweet vehicle. We spent too much
00:50time
00:56Here we go
01:01This is the the front seat over here. I don't spend any time up here. The more that we've toured
01:07The more assigned seats have sort of become a thing not necessarily by order, but we just don't move at
01:13all anymore
01:13And I'm always in the backseat on my laptop or something so our guitarist one of our guitarists will be
01:18up here
01:19Co-piloting they just they just kind of insist on driving everywhere. It's just two guys
01:24Yeah, we do a lot of long drives sometimes we'll like trade in and out of the bunks that we'll
01:28look at later
01:29But for the most part, it's just those two well so that the two men aforementioned that's them. We got
01:34a sweet memoriam over here
01:37I guess they ever have to pull it out of the wreckage. You'll know
01:41Got a lot of stuff in our side door. We have like a massive thing of hand sanitizer
01:45We get Taco Bell after pretty much every show we really need it. We survive on it
01:50So a little game that we have is to pull this out and we disperse hand sanitizer
01:54But whoever's pumping it they pump like as much as possible before the person can pull their hands away, and
02:00it's a mess
02:01We got a whole bunch of CDs mostly is fucking garbage
02:04Let's say I think the first thing in here is chili peppers. So yeah, I don't even think we really
02:08need to go through that much. It's bad
02:11But you know when you're driving through the mountains in Canada or something
02:13It's nice to have like a little bit. I think we've had a bolt-thrower CD or like symbolic by
02:17death in there for over a year
02:20And that's usually just we'll just listen to that every time that we don't have connection or something, but uh
02:24Yeah, otherwise, it's just fun stuff. We've been really into that into that a late yellow eyes record. I think
02:30it's awesome
02:32Got our lighting of course for you know when you can't see and the headlights are dim
02:39Sharpie an Apple you know what they say about that. We don't have health insurance, so we kind of need
02:44to keep the doctors away
02:45We got this sweet robot over here. I don't know how to work it
02:49But I think I think you squeeze it and you plug it in and like automatically adapts to your phone.
02:54That's a recent addition. It's pretty awesome
02:57Yeah, I feel like there's not an incredible amount going on up here besides that we keep our hats up
03:02here. Oh
03:03Here's this
03:06This fell off of my beautiful board of electronics, and I need to I need to re-glue it. It's
03:11all hide glue though
03:12So I need to I need to get home and do it, but yeah, that lives up here right now
03:17Val sticker we have ski masks and hats up here fuck ice
03:22but we were in Minneapolis a couple nights ago and
03:26Yeah, we have these ski masks and we like took them off the dash because we look suspiciously
03:30Suspiciously like a vehicle that is doing that sort of thing. In fact, we actually had a lady
03:35Come out. They're like these drummers on the side of the street
03:39Protesting and she points at the drummers and then points at cam who was driving and she was like
03:42This is all for you like thinking that we were ice news. Yeah, it didn't feel good. I
03:49Don't know if we have anything cool in our glove box. There's probably some important documents and just a bunch
03:52of bullshit
03:53There's kind of like lamp remnants and wiring and like general fix-it-up stuff from me
04:00Kind of everywhere. We were expecting guests today, so I did clean up a little bit in order to host
04:06So I did my best see we've got this big swinging door that to unlock it that the key can't
04:12do it, so you got to yank it
04:14It's like the one thing in this van that doesn't really work. Oh
04:20There she is. This is where I live
04:24I have this for you so you can see this is something that we definitely have in here all of
04:28the time
04:30You really need it gets dark in here. It's nighttime right now and beautiful snowy Chicago
04:36Yeah, I'm always in that seat right there just chilling on my laptop like you know doing emails or making
04:42art or something like that
04:44I've got a lint roller over here for you know keeping your clothes nice and tidy. I kind of can't
04:50stand. Oh
04:51Yeah
04:52How much hair tends to get on me when I'm in this van like I have this?
04:57Giant coat and everything just seems to stick to it, so this is an important thing for me. You gotta
05:01get to some free rolls
05:02I don't know if I can say that on YouTube. It's legal in Illinois
05:05uh
05:08Suffocation beanie. We toured with them like a year ago
05:12Shout out suffocation. Those are my air pods that just fell out. Oh
05:16There's a bunch of shoes that typically go underneath these chairs
05:20Speaking of these chairs the wonderful wonderful thing about them is that they recline
05:25The guy who sold us this van I don't think he had any idea that this was like a custom
05:29seat job
05:30And it's apparently worth like over ten grand. It's like really nice upholstery and whatnot
05:36And yeah, they recline I've never seen another this is a ford transit van
05:38I don't I don't know if I've ever seen ones that recline maybe I'm dumb
05:41I feel like it's usually like a one big attached bench or something that people could sleep on but uh
05:46You can't sleep in these they're bucket seats. It's really uncomfortable, but that's why we have bunks
05:51We got a triple stack my mom and I built it together. I call it the mausoleum
05:55Because if I ever die tragically, it's it's gonna be there
06:00I'm gonna pull this seat forward
06:03We've got this this wonderful bin of snacks
06:06I'm vegan most of this stuff in here is mine got kind bars, uh
06:11I typically like the snack on these
06:14We're a big incandescent band. I find that the filaments are a lot tastier than what you can get in
06:19LEDs
06:20So yeah always you know flossing glass out of teeth
06:25Yeah, that's about it there. I got some some anti-tunes microwave noodles
06:29I am kind of loyal to this brand chef woo, but they stopped like stocking it online
06:33It's really hard to get nowadays, but it's like 20 grams of protein
06:37Dollar and a half per cup you can microwave it anywhere
06:40We used to bring a microwave on tour and we named him Michael as in Michael wave
06:44He was in my garage for a little while after a tour and he fell off a shelf and hit
06:48me in the head
06:49He went out swinging I pre abused him for years
06:52So we don't have Michael anymore
06:55Luckily nowadays we play venues that just kind of happen to have
06:58Microwaves in their green rooms, so that's sick. These are our bunks
07:02I don't know if I already said but my mom and I built them together shadow Melissa
07:05She's an angel. We practiced at her house for many years and then yeah, actually we had a van before
07:09this that ate shit in the desert
07:11We had an oil leak we had no idea about so it just totally seized
07:15I thought it was a throne belt, but no it was metal on metal and yeah
07:18We originally had a two stack in there it would sleep four and then we'd have one person on the
07:22bench
07:22But now we've got three there's only about like a foot and a half of clearance in here
07:26So if you're claustrophobic, it's really not for you
07:30But I can turn over on my side
07:33I've got like decently broad shoulders and I don't I don't touch the two by fours if you have night
07:36terrors though or something and you wake up and you
07:39Yeah, you you jolt like you're gonna hit your head on a two by four and it's gonna suck
07:43But doesn't happen to me too often
07:46Yeah, Lucas and Ryan will sleep up here. They've known each other since birth, so they're a little inseparable
07:52This has always just kind of been the drummer bunk
07:54Our old drummer he would like kick in his sleep, so we sort of relegated them him to this so
07:59that we wouldn't get disturbed
08:01But now it's just one person's in there, and then we'll usually toss bags in there and whatnot. There's like
08:05some spare records in there right now
08:08Yeah, and then down here is where me and cam will sleep there's some drum heads in there right now
08:13We've kind of been getting a lot of hotels this tour a couple of our guys at home. They work
08:17for Hilton, so we get crazy discounts
08:20But also yeah, well I'll nap in this thing probably every day. It is extremely useful
08:24I actually sleep more on tour than I do at home probably
08:28Yeah, I'm always in this back corner
08:31Just but in in the coffin getting as much sleep as I can it's nice and dark I prefer that
08:36way but getting in and out of it as hell
08:38Sometimes we'll have a cooler down here that you can like stand on and slide
08:41But I do usually have to like hop over these chairs pull it forward move a bunch of bags out
08:46of the way and then slide myself in and it is
08:48Physically painful every time I am somewhat envious of the people that do not have those bungs, but I don't
08:54know it keeps me in there
08:55Keeps me nice and warm and toasty. We got chargers in there. I keep bottles of water
08:59It's good. I like it. So this is the the rear
09:03Opens up halfway and then you got to pull this little lever
09:06Get it all the way open
09:10There she is yes, just I mean more bags you can see a little bit deeper into there somebody's there
09:17Uh yeah
09:19Um not crazy not going on here although so
09:23What is interesting is we have this like pullout drawer it actually spans the entire length of the beds which
09:28uh they are a queen size
09:29By the way like they are in terms of width decently spacious again. We can sleep six very comfortably
09:34I don't I'm not ever touching anybody, but uh, I don't even know we have in here
09:39Bucky's beaver nuggets some flyers that we picked up
09:41We always like to try and get those from the shows give them in our practice space or something. That's
09:45a nice little memento
09:46Um this I absolutely swear by bringing an iron and ironing board on tour
09:52We play in like I I play in like some pretty old nice clothes, and I really like to keep
09:57them fresh
09:58Of course things can get pretty wrinkly this thing sucks by the way
10:03But yeah that helps me keep away from that this is a
10:06Steering wheel lock that is very nice to have we got broken into a couple tours ago
10:11Which they didn't take a single thing it was in Canada, and I don't I don't know how that happened
10:16There's still like broken glass in one of our door pockets or something, but uh ever since that
10:21steering wheel lock
10:22Yeah, nothing lost
10:24That's some like tire chains in there
10:27We had to use those once this tour we were almost like we're stuck in a DC driveway for
10:32Maybe a couple hours or something we had to hire these kids in the neighborhood to like snowplow us out
10:36It was rough, but yeah, that's a pretty much all that's going on in the van. So this is our
10:41lovely trailer
10:41We've got a big old ramp door in the back, but this one's a lot easier to access
10:46This lock that I'm opening here. This is maybe my my
10:50PSA to advance that I would really want to pass on is don't put master locks on your trailer like
10:55they can very easily be bolt cut or
10:57Picked I mean you can just use one of those wave rake things and get into it in like literally
11:01three seconds
11:02These are a little harder to pick and I mean you could maybe angle grind through one of these
11:06It would take you a really long time though. One of us will be sleeping in there and we will
11:10hear you
11:11Yeah, get get something a little bit beefier like these oh in the cold
11:16They're a little tricky. Oh boy. Holy shit. This one is stuck on there
11:21We barely ever open this side door
11:25There it goes
11:27But yeah, our trailer is like mostly empty right now
11:31We were just grabbing restocks for merch
11:34Yeah, I really dislike doing cardboard boxes for merch so we always have these like big old tubs most or
11:40half of them
11:40I would say are inside right now a lot of these are quite empty
11:44It's like decently full right now
11:45Agriculture is actually carrying our back line and their van just because they they've been loading in and sound checking
11:50earlier than us on the store
11:52So yeah, right now it's not too full
11:54I mean my we have these lamps that are always like wrapped in moving blankets and like bungee together and
11:58they sit kind of in the nose
12:00Behind the merch pins and then I have my big table with all of my effects stuff on it
12:04I'll sit like between the bins and then yeah, I mean it's
12:08When we don't have our back line
12:09It's it's really like half full and also we had no idea this was going to happen
12:13But every single show pretty much on the store has sold out and it looks like it's going to be
12:17that way for the rest of the tour
12:18So our stock has just gotten completely obliterated holy mountain and edgeman printing in detroit
12:24We're very kind enough to do some really last-minute restocks for us. We got some today. We're getting some
12:29more tomorrow
12:30So but yeah, we have like I mean, it's just been we've got plundered. It's ridiculous
12:35We're very appreciative. It's cool to not really have anything but uh
12:38Yeah, that's that's pretty much what goes on in here. Oh, I guess for who packs it
12:42I don't touch it ever hence. That's why my hands look like this. I'm always selling merch at the end
12:47of the night like
12:48For a very long time. I'd settle up and whatnot
12:52So yeah, pretty much everybody but me honestly will pack the trailer. I do what I can but typically I'm
12:57on like just handling the business end of things
13:01Yeah, thanks for checking out the video again. I'm Jamie with Noel
13:05We're on tour with agriculture right now. We've got a new record coming out this year
13:09You can listen to the last three records, so we've got out right now
13:13Everything's on unto viewing.com slash shop slash tour whatever we've got all of our stuff on there
13:18Always posting on socials and whatnot, so check it out if you like. Thank you
