04:59fantastic what a game to look forward to tam yeah it's as i said the the games on sunday are
05:06tremendous the command like celtic game and then rangers hearts you know celtic can go and win
05:10rugby park it really puts the pressure on the the two beside them and something's got to give in
05:16that game that's what celtic will be believing so yes it's a great weekend of football peter and
05:21this is what we want you know we've been in here maybe in the last few years at this time

05:25year thinking of say like we're gonna be 15 points a league or 20 points or who's going to finish

05:30now we've got a genuine title race i think it's fantastic for everyone involved yeah it is and of
05:35course danny rule has mentioned uh ruffy that it's now a chance for rangers to put pressure on hearts
05:42they were 13 points behind them at one point yeah i think rangers uh sorry celtic and rangers have
05:47been trying to put pressure on hearts for a long time now uh have to give hearts credit there they
05:51are scraping results they're getting draws they're getting wins you know but this this is a big one
05:56this is this is a game that both sets of players need to stand up and be counted and
06:01whichever one of the two of them win it will say that they're heading in the right direction
06:06because i think this is a massive i don't think it's a defining uh time of who will win the
06:10league
06:11but certainly it's a statement out there for everybody i think it is peter i i can't believe
06:15it i think if hearts beat rangers rangers cannot win the league how many points is that then eight
06:20points ahead and celtic will be ahead of themselves there's not 11 games left that's 33 points no chance

07:04then 52 for for rangers and then closely tucked in behind them 51 is celtic there'll be 11 games left
07:11if if hearts were to win you know that's a that's a big amount that's a huge collapse for them
07:17it's a massive amount but we've seen these games are hanging on knife edges they're going one way
07:24they're going another way you know that there are teams out there who are capable like you're
07:29saying motherwell time is saying motherwell are going to have a big say they've got to play them
07:34they've got to play hibbs away they've got to play you know big big games you know i think the

07:38dropped points i don't think the three of them are comfortable off to say right we're on a run here
07:43we're we're finding no cylinders i think other teams fancy their chances particularly away from home
07:48they've lost a game domestically martin o'neill i know but they're scraping it there how long can
07:53you go scoring nine six minutes i know that's what i'm saying so they're all they're all vulnerable
07:59i know but they're all vulnerable they're not showing you know invincible for them they're not
08:03going away i mean you would this celtic going to command at the weekend you think that's a given
08:09well you know that's what i'm saying it is if you're looking at the stats right now what it is
08:13is one one until the 94th minute and then celtic score and hearts just keep as derek mckinnis
08:20mentioned they're just annoying everybody in his mind i don't know why he said that because i don't
08:26think i don't think derek has tapped into the fact that so many people are looking and saying apart
08:31from you let's be honest and hibbs fans everybody else is looking and going apart from celtic and
08:38rangers everybody else is looking and going this would be great for our game if hearts won the league
08:43yeah i would say that the majority of clubs outside celtic rangers and hibbs would want hearts
08:47to win the league supporters i think they would want something fresh you know they're sick of
08:50celtic in particular winning the league all the time i think the journalists and the pundits a lot
08:54journalists pundits as well because it gives it's exciting it's something to talk about some some what i
08:58call die-hard flag-waving journalists don't but i think the general you know sane thinking uh
09:07journalists who are looking and saying all the years i would think that i would think that everyone
09:11outside of scotland i think that's a good hearts to win the league i think that's a good thing about
09:14the hearts players they they most of them won't remember what happened the last time
09:19they lost supporters supporters supporters will remember the older supporters yeah
09:26will remember and they'll be at the back of their mind going okay we're doing well and now
09:30you know what happens if say rangers win at the weekend you know then the doubts start coming in
09:35and then that happens you know players have to deal with the situation so i think it's a very very
09:40important game but i don't buy into you know if i think rangers can get away with a draw and
09:48still
09:48be in the mix yeah yeah yeah if i get beat what can i win in the league i don't
09:53like saying one in the
09:53league we sat here three we sat here three months ago and said rangers can forget about the league
10:00yeah forget it 13 points out of the window look at them do i watched them against him they were
10:05murder i know but they were 13 points behind you know how much the percentage of possession was for
10:10motherwell with 10 men overall in the game 67 against rangers that's unheard of at this year more
10:16than any i don't think you could write off anybody no no what's happening in the league just now
10:21i don't think rangers are going to win it roughy i just don't well if rangers what say rangers
10:25won you see rangers winning sunday yeah whenever the game is sunday sunday yeah well they win the
10:31league i just don't see a chance of winning it but i don't see it you want an opinion i'm

10:35one i don't see rangers winning the league and the reason i don't see it is because i just you

10:40you know what you've said over the course of this season you cannot you cannot rely on your goalkeeper
10:45being the best player man of the match in so many games yeah see when they hand out the trophy
10:51for player of the year for rangers they should just say everybody else thanks for coming jack
10:56here's the award because he's kept him in games yeah i mean he's been absolutely magnificent so
11:02so from that point of view you look and you see yourself where's the creativity the best move
11:08against motherwell tam was rangers goal in early on after that they didn't look dangerous no they
11:14didn't but they're capable of that peter that's why i don't know if it's the tactics or the way that
11:18the manager's setting the team out but they're just they're lacking creativity they're lacking
11:23that that quality in the final third but i think they've got good players so i'm in the firm belief
11:28that rangers have to beat hearts and sunday to win the league i i don't even think a draw is
11:33enough i
11:33think the rangers supporters are now starting to lose faith in the team and going we've went to hibbs
11:38and i must win game i've drawn we've went to mother one i must win game i've drawn with 10

11:42celtic keeps going late goals hearts keeps going late goals we need to be the statement one and a statement
11:47win for rangers is beating hearts on sunday and getting to within two points of them well i i think
11:53this is where quite a lot of people on radio on television in the newspapers sometimes when you
12:01get what i call the erratic opinion from a group of fans who are regularly erratic whether they're
12:08doing podcasts or whatever who you know they go from one knee-jerk reaction to the next i mean
12:13danny rule is right to point out he wins manager of the month and then a couple of days later
12:18he's
12:19a dud and if you listen to some of these what i call fanzine podcasts you know suddenly they're
12:25slaughtering the manager my god the guy has got rangers into a situation that they never believed
12:31as ruffy said he's got them into that situation he's raised the expectation i i genuinely think he's got a
12:39a situation here where he's had a transfer window to to try and change the team a little in the
12:48summer he'll get another big transfer window to change it into danny rule's team completely
12:53i just think he's raised the expectation and it's not realistic i don't see i just don't see a title
12:59winning side in there i tend to agree with you peter but i think when you raise the expectations and
13:05when
13:05the ranger supporters look at celtic at the minute and they think it's not a great celtic team then
13:09they look at hearts and they go it's not you're not great then the expectation come with from within
13:15thinking we've spent 30 million pound in the summer in january surely we we can be as good as them
13:21or
13:21topple hearts and celtic so yeah i don't quite see it i think i think sunday is a pivotal game

13:27rangers i really do i think if rangers beat hearts they'll the surge in belief and confidence not within
13:34not just within the players and the staff but the supporters who go through the roof i think they
13:38would truly believe right it's on we can win the league now if they don't beat hearts they'll just
13:42think we've not got the bottle we do this we've not got the quality to do it and it's just
13:45going to
13:46drift away there's no point in turning around and suggesting for a minute if hearts got the quality
13:50now to come to glasgow and win against celtic and rangers because they have and they've got an
13:55abundance of what derek mckinnis mentioned this morning they've got an abundance of character as well
14:00in their side they've got ability but they've also got this this attitude now there's a real
14:06momentum i mean in that game the other night there it was terrible watching it but then they
14:11just suddenly got harry milne free for the first time in that final third and they were able to get
14:17the winner and do what championship championship winning things do derek spoke about after the game
14:21it's something that celtic have done year in year out you know they score late goals and they're
14:25sicking they're not only sicking the team they're playing against but they're sicking
14:28the chasing pack the sicking rangers the sicking hearts however it is it's chasing them because
14:33celtic do it all the time it's not luck that they score late goals it's they go to the death

14:37keep going they've got that winning mentality and hearts have got a bit of that this season for the
14:41first time in a while in a long time i've ever seen a hearts team have got that really winning
14:45mentality going towards the end when they're not playing well and they're leaking out wins so
14:49yeah i think derek's you know quite entitled to be confident that the hearts supporters are as well
14:53uh there are 12 games left a lot of people thought they would drift away myself included
14:58a lot of pundits thought they would drift away and they're and they're i would say they'd be pretty
15:03nervous now like myself so who are those pundits name them charlie mulgrew i think he's uh he seems
15:08hell-bent on hearts when we're going to win the league so yeah i think if you're i think charlie
15:13would
15:13now be thinking i think they can win the league yeah it is it with all due respect with all
15:19due respect
15:19and i like charlie but there are some there are some pundits who just will not go against the team
15:26they play for yeah do you know what i mean yeah i mean honestly i mean if you're going to
15:31have an
15:31opinion for you know have an opinion you know and not just you know wave the flag there are flag
15:37waivers out there you know i don't think we're flag waivers on here and i don't think i am you
15:41know i've
15:42i just don't think hearts had the quality in the squad and the debt from the squad to win the
15:46league
15:46but now i think they can win it i think they can win the league hearts um because they've shown
15:53that
15:53winning mentality and it's they're getting towards the finishing line now you know it's not as if
15:57there's 20 games left 25 games there's there's 11 games after sunday they go to one of their
16:02nearest their nearest challenger at the minute if they go and put eight points between them and
16:05and rangers they probably go favorites to win the league peter yeah i always remember it as a good
16:11line big dj and he used to say to me oh you're a flag you're a flag waver you're just
16:16predicting
16:17rangers all the time and he used to say is oh i've been right nine out of the last 10
16:21years
16:23bang there you go okay i'm going to read out a few of the comments because it's well worth it
16:28because
16:29obviously some of them just a wee bit um over the top but uh peter um that will be clipped
16:37by a
16:37few for the end of the season of rangers gone to win the league yes gary i absolutely know it
16:42if
16:42rangers gone to win the league um then listen danny rule deserves all the plaudits that are coming his
16:49way um i think it'll be unbelievable gary if rangers win the league a great chance to then go and
16:57strengthen again and have a real tilt at uh you know champions league you know the figures have been
17:02this week i think rangers something between 13 and 18 million from the europa league but celtic
17:0740 million um from their champions league campaign so yeah gary listen he deserves all the praise and
17:15i deserve all the caning that's coming my way if rangers win the league i just i've watched them
17:20and i just cannot see where it's coming from i just don't know um also uh rangers challenge will be
17:28over on sunday their bottle will go see his master blaster um and over and above that uh brian says
17:35due to the amount of money role has been given on transfers he's been told he must win the league
17:40he's under pressure uh and ronnie says rangers peter right off rangers uh for the league at your
17:47peril there's a lot of football to be playing yes and it need to be better football from rangers
17:52i have to say ronnie uh to convince me they've got there um role is clement the second says patrick
18:00he's got as much as he can out of that team he has overachieved the rangers team don't have the
18:05bottle to win the league and close it out i don't think it's about bottle for me roughy it's just
18:12it's
18:12just that i'm looking for i'm looking for somebody who's driving them on i'm looking for a trick i'm
18:17looking for danger in the final third i'm looking for you're against ten men stop wasting time in
18:23a game against motherwell and have a go to try and win the match yeah i don't think it's bottle

18:28like the word bottle i think it's being able to handle the pressure and i think that's one of the
18:33things that rangers certain rangers players have fallen down on particularly at home if they go behind
18:39you can feel the pressure mounting and i've said this on numerous occasions it doesn't matter where
18:44they've come from they will never have experienced the pressure that's going to come in the next 11
18:48games you know that a lot of them have probably never been in a championship side you know a lot
18:54this is a new thing for them so it's important that they can handle the situation particularly
18:58if they go behind you know i always say rangers at home if they go in front you can see
19:03the heads
19:04are up you can see give me it give me it i'll take it you know if it's when it's
19:08the other way you
19:09can see there's sort of a no restriction in and what they're doing so as long as they're winning
19:13and winning games i think they'll do particularly well but you the two you're right this is a massive
19:19massive game i i just think uh hearts are getting the points and winning i i just don't see them
19:26free flowing and and running over the top of teams and and this is this is a big game this
19:31is a big
19:31it's a test for the hearts players as well because all right give me a prediction give me a rangers

19:35win this rangers to win this 2-1 2-1 to rangers yeah i'd fancy i'd fancy rangers as well

19:41think it's going to be a very very close game i think both teams are heavily weighted towards
19:46set pieces you know free kicks corner kicks both get set piece um coaches in there and they've
19:53both been very very good i would assume that they're both in one and two in the set piece
19:56department in the league so i think that that's a massive factor i don't think i think rangers are a
20:01big physical team i don't but i don't think they'll bully hearts i think hearts are the same
20:04team so i can see it being a real physical tussle um and rangers just edging it 2-1 as
20:09well
20:102-1 2-1 and i'm going to go 1-1 i'm going to is that sitting on the fence

20:16hearts are going to get out of there with a point minimum um but halkett will be back
20:22which is a bonus for them uh finally they've been absolutely rock solid it was interesting to see if
20:29rangers are going to get on the front foot um i think ruffy made a great point there about ibrox

20:33think if rangers get a get an early goal against hearts you know it's it's the total opposite of
20:38losing an early goal i think the rangers supporters are pretty harsh on the players and with barry
20:43ferguson on the show for a number of years and barry always spoke about you know handling that
20:46pressure at home when you went one nil down you know there was players who came in and were brilliant
20:50training and you thought he's a player and then you go one nil down down at home you learn learn
20:54about your teammates you learn about the ones that go and get want the ball or the ones that just
20:58hide
20:59and they embarrass us team out straight away so yeah i think that i think that rangers need to go
21:03and score the first goal of those get the fans really behind them then they're going to win
21:07okay give us your thoughts on it if you're a rangers fan give us your honest appraisal of it all

21:12confident that rangers will win at home on the sunday against hearts what if you're a jambo out there
21:19the bandwagon just keeps rolling on the manager thinks that they're starting to really annoy people
21:23because they're still at the top of the league can you happily go out of ibrox with a draw and
21:30is this a perfect opportunity to kill off rangers if rangers lose are they dead and buried
21:37for any hopes of winning the league give us your thoughts on that ruffy's not writing them off
21:42until about may 1st uh so uh tune in for that one kilmarnock against celtic
21:48uh now uh neil mccann certainly glowing in his praise of martin anneal at the press conference
21:55just saying he's well aware of the anneal factor in getting the best out of this team
22:01so he's not reading into any of these last minute winners um because he studied them he knows what
22:08they're all about and he he's well aware of the quality they have yeah i know sometimes it's very hard
22:13to analyze a celtic performance particularly that one uh in midweek they're coming against the bottom
22:19side of the league the side everybody's thumping and for for 90 minutes they struggled to get that
22:24second goal but on the plus side of that 29 shots at goal their goalkeeper was absolutely magnificent
22:31making saves left right and center and yeah they did dig it out you know but again and not
22:38convincing free-flowing football you know but uh they'll go there they'll know everybody says you
22:43go to culmarnock you're going to be in a battle people are going to say well they're neil mccann's
22:48got them on a wee run now which he is but uh they haven't been playing the quality of it
22:53that
22:53that celtic are going to bring there so i think it'll be a very very close game i'm not leading

22:58into culmarnock beating st marn 4-3 why not because i thought st marn were poor i thought
23:03st marn defensively the goals they lost and they lost three goals at home to a pretty average
23:10st marn team just now so average culmarn team and and st marn yeah they lost three yeah i mean
23:16what i'm saying is he'll say yeah we scored four but robertson will say if you come away from home
23:20and you score three goals you expect to take something out of the game yeah which is perfectly
23:24right i just thought st marn defensively were very very poor so i would expect celtic to go there and
23:30win yeah the thing about it is though he has he's upset the apple cart to be perfectly honest with
23:36you i think he deserves credit neil mccann and billy dodds for this because suddenly there's only
23:41three points between dundee st mirran and culmarnock and only five points between them and dundee united
23:46i mean he's he's actually he's made it interesting now i think i think if you're done the entity fan
23:52you'd
23:52be looking a bit nervous over your shoulder i think they're in a poor run of form at the minute
23:56um under jim goodwin they've pulled dundee back into dundee we're on a good run but
24:00command looks won two of the last three the last two home games they've won they've scored seven
24:04goals against aberdeen uh in st marn so the confidence will be high at rugby part you know
24:10the supporters are right behind neil mccann now because i think when neil and dodgy first came in
24:14there was a few dissenters in terms of you know i think they were wanting someone else but i think
24:20that
24:20that neil and dodgy have gotten a real tune out of the players so i brought in finley curtis as
24:24well
24:24who i think is a great signing for them so i i think they'll really really give selty a tough
24:29a
24:30tough game and it could be a last minute goal again for selty and the big guy will cause them
24:33problems
24:33tyree's john jewels that was a nice hat trick in the midweek i think if any striker if you score

24:38hat trick you're busting for the next game peter and if anything drops to him he'd be confident
24:41to put in the back of the net so selty will be wary of him but i think selty have
24:44just got enough to
24:45to nick it 2-1 but it might be an early goal i think command will really put up to

24:52sir actually would you give him a long-term deal yes i think he's i think he's very good peter

24:55i've been really impressed with him um even when tierney's playing well as well yeah he came in
24:59he scored a great goal the other night he played really really well the other night and he kept
25:02obviously cairn on the bench so i think if you're selty looking at him you're going you want to sign
25:07him longer term because i think he's been a really really good signer i remember uh alex
25:12hoxley chamberlain's dad mark chamberlain and he said you know as soon as soon as he knew
25:17selty were interested boom he says i'd drive you up there um it's a dream debut for him albeit what
25:2212 or 13 minutes um scores the goal that gets them the points i wonder does he throw him in
25:28from the
25:29start it's an artificial turf but you know you want to get him as much fit as he possibly can
25:34for those
25:34big games everybody's looking march first ibrox you know he'll want as many big players as possible
25:41for that kind of game yeah i think kath martin and he was already said he's in dialogue with him
25:46uh asking him about i don't think he'll have played on astro tough very very often in his career
25:51uh so that's something they'll have to run by him i'm sure certainly got training parts with astro tough
25:57but i i think it's it's where you're going to play when you're going to play him in that three
26:01three in the middle with ingles being out uh but certainly you could see he's got it the touch he
26:06had and the way he placed it into the corner he's got a bit of class you know obviously fitness
26:11everybody says level of fitness it used to be you get 60 minutes i was going to say you if
26:16the
26:17manager said to you that you're not 100 would you rather play the first half or the second half
26:23would you rather come on and make i think i think i think as a striker is different i think
26:27as a
26:28striker you would probably want the last half an hour simply because game opens up tired legs you
26:34come on you're fresh you know i think that's probably from from that point of view as a striker you
26:40want to build your fitness up your stamina and you maybe want to play the first hour but i think
26:44ingles is out injured hitati's been in poor form can't put my finger on that so there's there's
26:51definitely a gap there you know if he for oxlade chamberlain if martin anneal and the staff think
26:55he's ready to go for the start but it's a it's a it's going to be a battle on rugby
27:01part now it's a
27:02it's a nice tough pitch i know it suits technical players as well but come on look right in their
27:06faces
27:06you know the boy watching in the middle of the park's a rash so i don't know if it's the
27:11right

27:41individuals and there's still a place in football for a man manager who motivates people but there's
27:48also a key factor which is the majority of the players all have a championship winning
27:53medal in their pocket some of them have got more than a few uh winning medals in their pocket so
27:58they
27:58know how to go over the course the most significant factor for me is of the three signings
28:03out of all the five that they've made three of them have actually contributed to wins
28:07yeah they have and that's what you want you want them to go in you want them first of all
28:11tam will tell you if you're if you're a new player at a new club the first thing you have
28:15to do is get
28:16the fans on on your side you know and scoring a goal like that definitely buy you buy into that

28:21know and the new boy he scored as well so these are the plus signs but i i i don't

31:15the float yeah yeah so you do have to see the games out against celtic rangers um to the very

31:22end because celtic in particular they keep going until the whistle blows yeah franny says that good
31:27teams play to the very end um and yeah absolutely listen um there's a few twists and turns ahead there's
31:35absolutely no doubt about that but you you can only look at what you're watching week in week out
31:42and when you see it in the flesh and you're looking you're saying have they got a trick has somebody
31:46has somebody got the ability to start scoring regularly and fire them onto a title is there
31:52something somebody in the rangers is there somebody in the rangers lineup that you've watched that you
31:56think he's got the bit between his teeth he'll guide them onto the title is there you know are there
32:02more than a few in the hearts side is there is there enough in that celtic side or as roughy

34:12motherwell aberdeen elliot watt i'm make no bones about it ruffy my favorite player in
34:18the league this season is elliot watt i know i know um eli just has been superb but this guy
34:24makes them tick for me yeah uh unfortunately get that wee injury there and uh but he come back
34:30didn't he last the whole game there against interesting no they took him off because obviously
34:34you don't want to you don't want to jeopardize he is a big player there's no doubt about that you
34:38have to then start looking at the scotland uh midfield and thinking where he would you know
34:45would he he'd obviously just be a fringe a pool player but i mean is he good enough to break

34:51a scotland team with the players that we've got in midfield yeah i don't see him no no if anything
34:57if anybody drops out and no no harm to elliot watt he's been brilliant and and the standard of football
35:02and the competition that we are watching and i don't want to somebody says this peter you're being
35:05very negative um so i won't be too negative about it the standard of the game um is another matter
35:12uh that you could dedicate a whole program to but if anything if anybody drops out of that midfield i
35:17think steve clark might phone callum mcgregor
35:22hmm possibly um but i think we're we're very strong in that midfield area you're talking about
35:27harry milne as well if harry milne was right-footed he'd maybe have a better chance of getting into the
35:31squad than he has left-footed because i think in terms of the right back area right wing back yeah
35:37he's got more opportunity to play that side than it would be our side but if hickey gets in yeah

35:41so i think it's going to be difficult for for people to break it to break into the team and
35:47the squad
35:47i've seen a few last nights speaking about ollie burke who's he's playing the bundesliga no
35:53you know he's playing he's doing well in bundesliga but he's supposedly the fastest player in
35:58germany maybe something that ruffy ruffy ruffy honestly i kid you not if it wasn't for if it
36:07wasn't for the perimeter fencing uh around grounds he'd still be running he'd still be running into
36:12the car park and i sure i know where he will be running he'll be running in the bank with

36:16amount of moves he's had he's a multi-millionaire but i'll tell you one former former player and
36:23manager say to me we couldn't we couldn't pick him at the fives he's hopeless just touch he hasn't
36:30got a good touch i think he suits a counter-attacking style that's maybe a smaller club a smaller team
36:38in germany in the counter-attack and listen we don't dominate what's got until it was just a few
36:43people were speaking about it as as an option are you having him to pick i don't know we've
36:49no there's nobody of that out in the team we're clutching the straws now aren't we yeah but we've
36:52nobody i know i know that i know that's searing pace yeah i know that that's that's and we will
36:58be a counter-attack inside you know particularly two games against brazil morocco yeah you want to
37:02look up you want to you want to ping one in behind and he's going to chase after it so
37:05yeah maybe
37:06possibly make it as a consolation goal in the game against brazil and i actually i firmly believe
37:12morocco is going to pump us as well so it's uh it's going to be interesting stuff it's going to

37:16it's going to be a long stay in the usa but uh listen one of the things that stuck in

37:24i know lots of rangers fans have had their say on it as well model 67 possession against rangers the
37:32way they move the ball the way they just keep going at it um and i was delighted that they

37:40mazwanisi uh as well and listen they were they were still going trying to get the equaliser against
37:46rangers yeah i just think it's amazing the job he's done there peter i think that there's players in
37:51the motherwood team who you thought were decent players over the years and he's he's improved
37:55them as well and i think that's a sign of a good manager not just bringing signings in but improving
37:59the guys that were already there uh paul mcginn looks rejuvenated yeah he was excellent
38:04the other night steven o'donnell brilliant they look they look improved players even at the latter
38:08stages of career peter so i think that's a massive failure in his cap but is it direction from the
38:12manager because steven o'donnell is basically now looking up and seeing himself okay because people
38:19are showing for the ball time he's looking up and he's saying okay i'm not going to play anything
38:23stupid i'm going to drive it into the midfield to the midfielder because i'm confident his touch is
38:28going to get it under control and i'm confident also that if he's only going to take one touch he's
38:32going to be able to play quickly into the triangle and get the midfield going steven o'donnell is not
38:37playing aimless balls into channels yeah he's pretty i think steven o'donnell's a good footballer
38:43and you've seen that over the years and it suits him to go and play with players like that who
38:47want
38:48to come and get on the ball but jen's birth of lascow for me is tailor-made for celtic i
38:54i would be i
38:55would be stunned yeah shocked if he's not the celtic manager next season so would i i mean he takes
39:01every single box he can have in terms of the way they play football the way celtic play football the
39:07way the fans expect celtic to play i think he takes everything in terms of the celtic manager
39:11and i'd be i'd be surprised if he's not the celtic manager next year now talking of managers and kenny
39:17who listens to us and watches us regularly in la i think kenny should just at this moment you can
39:26get i
39:26don't know if they get them in the do you put them in the bottom drawer roughly or just the
39:30middle drawer
39:30just get a mallet out and start scalping the screen right now because what i'm about to say
39:34is is going to really anger uh kenny but what a shambles of a club aberdeen are 40 days without

39:41manager and now tony docherty who we like a lot back in there to help peter leaving and it looks
39:48as if they're still waiting in a manager that might come in the summer yeah that looks as if that's

39:53case you know they have identified somebody but this guy said well i'm not coming in the new because i've
39:58got other things i've got to do so i've picked him and they're prepared to wait and wait you know

40:05think the other thing the supporters were saying well if you wait and wait and you get the right
40:09guy fair enough but if you make him messy the way you have done with the other three or four
40:14then
40:14then there's going to be trouble but uh i think aberdeen's season's gone now anyway you know it's gone
40:21now if you're waiting 40 if you're waiting 40 days time and a and a team that should be pushing

40:27into the top six only due to the fact that they've been dismal under jimmy to lean just i mean

40:33think they've got it all wrong yeah i just don't know what's going on up there peter and the supporters
40:38must be pulling their head out as well you know they've had ample time you know to go and get

40:42in peter leaving's been in there he's he's done a decent job but it looks as if they're just kind
40:48of writing off this season and thinking right well the manager probably who we want is in place somewhere

41:40first 20 minutes particularly when motherwell start knocking it about so yeah i'll go for motherwell
41:45two nothing come to one motherwell oh tight two one yeah i'd like to see them getting that second goal
41:50that i said they struggle to get against the better sides but i mean aberdeen only one of the better
41:54sides yeah yeah what did you think you're your star of uh maswanese or whatever his name is
42:00against rangers i've never seen him doing much to be to be fair by the way in a strange sort

42:25i know jens berthalaska has annoyed a lot of rangers fans by saying you know you really need to get

42:30act together with referees because rangers players were more than happy to take a yellow card for anybody
42:35breaking at any point they were taking them out you know it's a german manager yeah i'll tell you
42:41he's come up against you know german teams and german coaches i've played under german coaches
42:45that's win at all costs kenny says why rush in peter like celtic did um well listen
42:51kenny i can't argue with you about wilfred nancy um obviously get somebody lined up to come in the
42:57summer peter so yeah you've got to trust the process really as an aberdeen fan you've got to think okay
43:02we'll see the season out hopefully we'll get into the top six and have a wee run in the scottish
43:06cup
43:06and uh and we'll look ahead to next season with the manager that the
43:11you know the owner wants yeah before we get to the saturday games might as well tell you we've got

45:05from where he's come from you know middle of the first division to now a top 16 are you suggesting
45:09was the winner or a nominee nominee okay okay we'll live with that definitely nominee it's got to be a
45:15nominee tam so if hearts finish third then fall cut finish fifth who's the better season well the
45:22resources fall cut oh we're not arguing he's definitely a nominee he's not going to win it
45:28this year and we're in a mix tonight i think if a fall cut finish fifth in the league yeah

45:34they'll be even the next to win manager of the year what would what would that what would need
45:37what chain of events would need it would need derrick mcinnish not to finish in the top two
45:41if hearts finish third and fall cut finish fifth i would in fact i wouldn't argue fall cut for the

46:33i wouldn't from being 13 points behind half no but that's not for me peter no i'd be looking

47:25if he wins the league with hearts he'll have a statue outside just for them just for them saying to

48:11there but at falkirk dundee united you made your case so is it falkirk to win against dundee 2-0

49:09mirran now that's where marcus fraser has said they're in a mini league of survival i can't quite work
49:16out what's happened there it's it's just a have a team started to work them out but it's just a
49:23collapse since the league cup i mean i don't know off the top of my head but you would say
49:27it's the
49:27majority of the same players you know defensively midfield i know they've lost to hara and a couple
49:33in between but it's a nucleus it's nucleus of the team that won the cup and i'm sure as a
49:39manager
49:40you'd be scratching your head going how is this happening and uh particularly midweek there as i said
49:45i thought the goals they lost with were shocking and it's not usually a a man team if you're going
49:51to beat them you're going to work hard to get a goal but they didn't have to work hard in
49:55midweek and i
49:55think it's going to be a backs against the wall against hibbs at the weekend a bit of complacency
49:59setting at st man a bit of arrogance after winning the cup possibly i don't know if it's arrogance tam
50:04it's certainly something that some players something yeah the manager has come out and questioned some
50:09players who are not giving their all so that would lead to probably a bit of complacency then within the
50:14squad yeah it's definitely something like that or do you do you lose key players and and they
50:21they've lost their rhythm or whatever i don't know i don't know what's what's happened but they fell
50:24off a cliff since that final but do you see them getting the playoff or do you think they've got
50:28enough to get away from it no i can see them in the mix for it yeah yeah i think
50:31any one of the
50:33any one of the three above them um could get into that i thought i would include the united in
50:37that as
50:38well by the way now what do you think of hibbs overall season as they appear for this game
50:43disappointing peter i think they promised a lot early doors i think the signings have spent a lot
50:48of money in the summer you know they brought some quality players and i think they've got a quality
50:51squad i'm no sure that the manager's getting the best out of the squad um in terms of results and
50:58performances i think there's a lot of quality in the squad so i looked at the the early games i
51:03looked
51:04at partisan belgrade and going to midgerland and drawn who are i think near near the top of the
51:09europe league table you know hibbs played really well against them over two legs beating partisan
51:13been three one up against leagio also and i'm thinking it's a proper hibbs team and they've just
51:18not kicked on at all so i think it's been disappointing this season i think hibbs as i said it
51:23so many times
51:24i don't think if we put hibbs squad and heart squad and two bits of paper i don't think there's
51:29a lot
51:29between them but the league table says of 18 points between them so that blows my argument out the
51:35water but i've been disappointed with hibbs this season to be honest one one i've got i think hibbs
51:41will win this but two one hibbs two one yeah okay uh and the last of those games you can
51:47give us your
51:47thoughts on that as well do you agree what what tam's saying there uh dundee against livingston does it
51:54does it affect the psychology of that late loss to celtic and the defeat to folker because he was
52:00he was looking as if stephen presley was starting to get dundee heading in the right direction
52:06yeah i think that listen i think that the danda penalty at the end peter is a real signal for

52:12i watched a wee bit of the highlights and gotta hit the target haven't you yeah i think i think

52:16deserved at least a point i thought they'd they played really well but yeah i don't know
52:21dundee have not played at home for near enough a month i think the last time they played at home
52:25was hearts at home when hearts beat them with 10 men i think they've had four or five away games

52:35get a wee bit out of them they played well the other night but i just think dundee there's too

52:39at stake for dundee i think they'll win i think they'll beat they'll beat livingston and barry mckay
52:44is signing for livingston yeah good sign again yeah another one who's been out the game for a while
52:49uh it was linked to east cobride actually i think they were trying to sign them but
52:54yeah he could he could come in and give them a wee bit of lift livingston but i think dundee
52:57will beat
52:57them 2-1 okay uh and uh i think uh ernest says the games against each other in the top

53:05will decide the league down to the wire who holds their nerves serial winners or serial bottle merchants
53:12that's going to be uh and kenny did say something which i think is well worthy of mentioning
53:17aberdeen ambition with the money we spent um they have actually spent a fair bit of money i think
53:22aberdeen as well i just think it would have been better to get somebody in pronto to try and get
53:28them into the top six it would have made such a difference to them it'll make a difference to
53:31the crowds in the bottom six um kenny also says hope dundee stay up um should have taken a point

53:38other night so um livingston i think we decided they're gone yeah we did decide they're gone but
53:45that was an impressive performance i call key packs against the wall but again parking the bus i don't
53:52think the part they didn't have any option to park the bus i mean i thought they were just free

53:56going forward shots at goal shots at goal but it's one of the games when you they should have won

54:014-1 or something like that but these games happen but uh the manager will try and take something out

54:37group yeah north macedonia i know the the bottom seed but the results they had in their qualifying
