00:00It's a sunny day in Scotland. Absolutely magnificent that you could join us. I'm Peter Martin.
00:06This is Tam McManus and this is Alan Ruff. Alan Ruff, the guy who's been to three World Cups.
00:12Been to about three holdies, I don't know.
00:14Well, not only that, but I have to tell you, before we even start with any of the facts of
00:18our sponsors,
00:20he just knows no bounds. His disloyalty to us knows no bounds because he's on another podcast.
00:29We've spotted him on Ian McCall's. I didn't even know he had a podcast.
00:33Ian McCall? Oh, Ian McCall? That was last year.
00:37God.
00:39Has it just come out there?
00:40It's just, honestly, I spotted it the other day there and I thought to myself, there's no, I mean, honestly.
00:44You wouldn't let your pals down if somebody asked you to do them.
00:48Well, can I tell you something? We are weeks away from the SDV podcast, aren't we, Tam?
00:55You'll eventually buckle.
00:56No, no, I don't grudge you.
01:02You're treachery knows no bounds, Ruffy. Anyway, was that a good holiday?
01:06It was. The first three days were pretty cloudy, but it was okay.
01:11It was just a change of scenery.
01:14It was just a change of scenery.
01:14And the people at the pool were lovely.
01:16And the other good thing about it from your...
01:19I'm not even going to go there.
01:20The other good thing about it from your own point of view, Ruffy, is you've obviously got to...
01:27You've obviously got to, I was going to say something there and it's completely and utterly gone from me.
01:35Coming to the end.
01:36No, no, you've got to...
01:40You've got 21 days to go.
01:42There's still a chance for you to sneak in another holiday, to be honest with you.
01:48I don't think we need to with the weather we've got out there. It's magnificent.
01:51It's absolutely fantastic. Yeah, you're absolutely right, Ruffy.
01:54Anyway, listen, great to have your company.
01:56We are live on YouTube, delighted to see.
02:00If you've got anything that you want to mention to us, then we're more than happy to hear from you.
02:06We're sponsored by Cameron Commercials.
02:08If you want a quality new or used van, then go to CameronCommercials.com
02:12and Sean Germain, he will help you out with that.
02:16Over and above that, the headlines sponsored by CancelMyParkingTicket.com
02:21and with that in mind, the main headlines, of course, two Celtic players have committed themselves to the club.
02:28We'll discuss that.
02:29Over and above that, the Edinburgh Derby is taking centre stage.
02:33Derek McInnes, well aware of what Hibs will want to do to try and stop the Tynecastle side winning the
02:40title.
02:40We'll be talking about the Tayside Derby as well.
02:42Jim Goodwin already saying that he needs Dundee in the top flight.
02:47So, give us your thoughts on that on a wonderfully sunny day.
02:50And with that in mind, with titles, everybody talking about it, we're going to try and mention as many people
02:56as possible.
02:57Hi to Willie, hi to Robert, hi to so many people who are talking to us on our live YouTube
03:05channel right now.
03:06So, great to have your company with us.
03:09The quiz, sponsored by Elite Joinery and Fire Protection.
03:15Which non-Old Firm player has won three top flight league winner's medals with three separate clubs?
03:22That's a belter of a question.
03:26Tam, there's a kind of a blank look on your face there.
03:30I take it this will be 80s then?
03:34Well, this is the thing about it.
03:36Looking at Dundee, United, Aberdeen.
03:38It's a player who's won three titles and he's a non-Old Firm player with three separate clubs.
03:47Where are you looking at me?
03:49There you are.
03:50Don't bother, we'll give you the answer by the end.
03:54So, it's a good question, isn't it?
03:56Fantastic question, yep.
03:57It's a brilliant, and the medal as well, Ruffin.
03:59I've got one of them.
04:00You've got one of those league winner's medals?
04:02Yeah.
04:02From the first division?
04:03First division, yeah.
04:04Yeah, brilliant.
04:05There you are.
04:05You still got it?
04:06Yes, definitely got that, yeah.
04:07Brilliant, okay.
04:09Thanks to so many of you who are going to have a wee go.
04:11You never asked me.
04:13No.
04:15Did you not get a runners-up in the cup?
04:17I have got a few.
04:18You've got four, haven't you?
04:19I've got several runners-up.
04:19They're all similar to that.
04:22I'll tell you another thing, Ruffin.
04:26Only they're gold.
04:28The other thing I was going to say to you, Ruffin, which you weren't privy to, is you missed
04:31a big game when Tam was playing.
04:33Oh, I know.
04:33How did it go?
04:34Tam was playing.
04:35Did you get the whole game?
04:36Absolutely hammered.
04:38Did you get subbed?
04:39Did you do the whole thing?
04:40I'm going to tell you, I've already said it on the show last week.
04:42So, basically, with me, Andy McLaren and Alan Gow, Kevin Harper, I think there was only
04:46Big Mark McLotland, a few ex-pros, but after 15 minutes, Stevie the bookie was basically
04:50picking the team.
04:51Yes.
04:52Still game.
04:54And 15 minutes into the game, we're getting beat 1-0 and I just heard the board going
04:57up.
04:57I seen the board going up and I went, surely no.
04:59I went, Tam, off you come.
05:01You went on for me.
05:03You don't mind if it's an ex-player?
05:04Yeah.
05:04Gredo.
05:08And by the way, by the way, not only that, Shell Suit Bob came on as a sub and scored.
05:16Oh, you couldn't make it up, Ruffy, honestly.
05:18It was absolutely priceless.
05:19But anyway, apart from anything else, it was a good day, wasn't it?
05:22Brilliant day.
05:23It was a great day.
05:24It was a good laugh.
05:24Guys are still sore.
05:25Two weeks later.
05:26Yeah, absolutely.
05:27Listen, we've got lots to talk about.
05:28I'll give you the answer to the quiz at the end.
05:31But the one thing I was going to say, Ruffy, so many of us, the fixtures for this weekend
05:37are looking forward to Saturday and Sunday.
05:39Aberdeen Kilmarnock, St Myrna against Livingston, Celtic Falkirk.
05:42And then on the Sunday, it's the Tayside Derby, Rangers-Mullaby, and then the Edinburgh
05:47Derby, which we're going to talk about, which is absolutely fantastic.
05:50As you can tell, the sun is shining.
05:52Ruffy, looking as if he's just come back from Rhodes.
05:55And Tam, clearly you've bought a batch of these Minion T-shirts, because that's the
06:00second one you've worn in two days.
06:03That is absolutely wonderful.
06:05There's a resale on the Penguin Shops of a few golf tops.
06:08Different colours, not all green.
06:10Absolutely.
06:11Listen, give us your thoughts on the quiz.
06:14Well done to Bert, who was absolutely on it as well, as far as the quiz is concerned.
06:20But let's talk about first and foremost.
06:22It's the game everybody's talking about, which is the Edinburgh Derby.
06:26No surprise, Derek McInnes, the Hearts manager, has been speaking and he knows exactly what's
06:32at stake for the Hibbies, who will be welcoming Hearts to Easter Road.
06:37I think for obvious reasons, the added ingredient of being the Derby makes things that bit more
06:44challenging.
06:45But it's challenging for Hibs as well, and we've got to expect that Hibs are fighting
06:49for their own motivation to finish in those European spots.
06:53But it's clear that we want to make sure that in front of their own supporters they can put
06:57a bit of damage onto us, and that's fine.
06:59That's the way it is.
07:01Yeah, he's well aware of what's at stake, Ruffy.
07:03It's a belter.
07:04I can't wait.
07:05He's going through with me.
07:06It certainly is.
07:07You know, I mean, Tom, as I've read his column, and obviously there are people out there who
07:12are giving their own opinion.
07:13But if you're a Hibby and you've played with Hibs, you know what's at stake here.
07:19You know what it's like in a one-to-one game, if you get beat, you know how much it's
07:25rubbed
07:25in and how much it goes on and on and on.
07:27So the onus is, obviously, is to win the game, first of all.
07:33I wouldn't go into the game, you know, with the back of my mind, right, if we win this,
07:36it means Hearts are only going to win the league.
07:38I'm like, Tom, I've played with Hibs for six years.
07:42I personally don't want Hearts to win the league, you know, because I've been on the end
07:45of so many doings from Hearts, and I know what it's like.
07:49You know, so when you're a Hibs player and you're a Hibs supporter, first of all, you
07:54want to do the best for your own team, but it's like any Derbys, the Rangers Celtic, Dundee,
08:00Dundee United, it all falls into the category.
08:02Nobody wants your opposition to be celebrating.
08:05Well, you know, Josh Taylor and Andy Murray, I clearly think it would be a good thing for
08:10Hearts to win the title.
08:11Yeah, but they never played for Hearts, or Hibs.
08:13They never actually put a jersey on and know what it's like to be in there.
08:17Nah, if I'm just looking for a bit of publicity.
08:23I'd love to know it, yeah.
08:24Give me Josh's number, we'll give you a good job.
08:26I'll give you, well, Tam could as well.
08:29I'll give you six or ten ex-Hibs players, and I bet you not one of them want Hearts to
08:35win the league.
08:37Yeah, well, listen, I think Derek McInnes is absolutely on that.
08:41I mean, you know what's at stake.
08:42There's a real edge to it, and lots of Hibs I've been speaking to are of the same opinion.
08:48They're not having any of that, wanting Hearts to win it.
08:51But the other thing I was going to say to you with regards to that is, thanks to Les,
08:55it says, Hibs to win 2-1.
08:58And Willie puts a very good point on this, is that Hearts can't win away from home.
09:02It's been months.
09:04I think they've got one point out of the last four games.
09:06So it is a problem for them, but it's 21 days to go, five games.
09:14It's all or nothing.
09:15I think Hearts, I don't know, you've obviously got to keep it cagey,
09:20but I think Hearts have got to throw caution to the wind on this.
09:22This is a different type of game to the one that they played the last time they were at Easter
09:26Road.
09:27Yeah, I think they've got to play a whole lot better than they played at Easter Road the last time,
09:30Peter,
09:30because they were fortunate to get out of there 3-2.
09:32I think if the thing was Mulligan, you should have squared it for 4-0.
09:36And then Hibs were rampant that day.
09:37That could have been a real hiding.
09:39So I think Derek, at the back of their mind, they've got to go and perform better than that.
09:43But I don't think it's going to be decided, roughly mentioned it earlier.
09:45I don't think if Hearts get beaten Sunday, they can't win the league.
09:49Because their next game, I think, is Rangers at home.
09:50So they can jump right back on the horse, they beat them, then they're back in it.
09:54So I think, obviously, a win is brilliant for them.
09:58And it would give them so much confidence and momentum.
10:00A defeat would obviously go the other way.
10:01But I don't think anything's going to be decided.
10:03Because I've said it continuously.
10:05I don't think any team out of the three of them is going to win all five games.
10:08I think there's points to be dropped.
10:09But I do think that Hearts and Rangers can afford to maybe drop a point or three points.
10:14I think Celtic are in a position now where they're chasing two clubs.
10:17I think Celtic are in a position where they've got to try and win five games.
10:21Or I think they won't win the league.
10:23So, yeah, it's going to be an exciting game.
10:26Obviously, Hibs are still in the mix to finish above Motherwell.
10:30And the atmosphere is going to be crackling.
10:32So, no, I'm really looking forward to it.
10:34And the Hibs fans are hoping that the players are going to put in a good performance and beat their
10:39big rivals.
10:39Yeah, you know when you come there, we're obviously going to do a wee bit live on TikTok.
10:43And we're going to do a wee bit.
10:44Because I'm a bit worried about you.
10:45You've decided that you're going to.
10:47This has got Liverpool written all over it for you.
10:50Liverpool is hospitality.
10:52Yeah, but you're away to Giuliano's with your mates, the Hibs.
10:55You're going to get in there.
10:56You're going to have a wee whine.
10:57They'll be having a chat.
10:58And then you're going to come out, rat us.
11:01No, that was not.
11:02Liverpool was different.
11:03Liverpool was basically three, baby.
11:07I think that video is still on YouTube somewhere.
11:09We were talking after the game.
11:10I can't even sing a sentence together at the rest of the time.
11:12But that was horrendous.
11:14It was a good day.
11:15But nevertheless.
11:16A five kickoff?
11:17A four.
11:18A four.
11:18That gives you enough time.
11:20Yeah, absolutely.
11:21It's overed up.
11:21Are you going?
11:23No, I haven't been.
11:24I haven't thought about it since I got back.
11:27Surely it's a game where you take the journey through, Ruffy, for God's sake.
11:31You can't see if you're your old mates.
11:33But again, I fall into the category as I don't want to go.
11:36If you're going to tell me Hibs have won 3-0, I'll be there at 12 o'clock.
11:39Yeah.
11:40If you're going to tell me Harts are going to win that game, I don't want to be there.
11:43You know, I just don't want to be there.
11:45I don't want to see it.
11:47I mean, as I say, I was there for six years and I know the rivalry.
11:50I know everything that goes well.
11:52I know the fallout of every game.
11:54I know the fallout of living in the place.
11:56You know, so if you were to tell me that Hibs were going to win the game, I'd gladly be
12:00there.
12:01So you don't think they're going to win it.
12:02That's why you're not going to win it.
12:03I think they are, actually.
12:04I really think they are.
12:05Oh, why are you not going to?
12:06Well, I've still got a couple of days to think about it, you know.
12:09Oh, do you know what that means?
12:11You don't understand Ruffy's speech.
12:13I'm waiting for somebody to invite me so I can get a starter, a main course and a suite.
12:17I'm waiting for a freebie.
12:18Oh, I just have to pick up the phone.
12:21I mean, I could be in the director's box.
12:24I could be looking at him waving his eyes.
12:28I'm sure that would be the case.
12:30If anybody's in that, if they want to bring Ruffy along for it, it would be absolutely fantastic.
12:35Hearts, Mark Leonard's back, which I think is a huge bonus for them.
12:40McIntyre's out for the season, as is Magnusson.
12:43But I like the point from Willie.
12:45He says, listen, I have to say, it's January 31st, the last Hearts away win.
12:53Their form's not great, Ruffy, on the road.
12:55No, but they've been getting that 1-0 and that getting it over the line and just, you know,
13:00the performance isn't important as long as you're getting points.
13:03And that's what they've been doing.
13:05They've been grinding them out, you know.
13:07But I'm always the assumption you can grind them out for so long and then all of a sudden
13:11that hits you in the face.
13:13And I always said that the home games are going to be important in this split.
13:17So if you can go away from home and pick up three points, it's a massive bonus.
13:23Massive bonus for Hearts, if Hearts go there and win that game.
13:26Yeah.
13:26Give me your thoughts, Tam, on the fact that, you know, if there's, not that there's an added incentive,
13:31we had Jack Iyer deal in here earlier on in the week where I thought he was absolutely magnificent.
13:35Great insight into the players, the fact that they've been chatting about it.
13:39They've got things to play for themselves.
13:41They've got the chance to, they're looking at it.
13:43And what a massive weekend it is for Hibs on the basis that if they win the game,
13:47suddenly they could be level with Motherwell because Motherwell have got a tough match at Ibrox against Rangers.
13:53And there's also the added incentive, a wee bit of sentimentality.
13:56You know, a farewell to Martin Boyle.
13:58He will be trying like a madman.
14:00Yeah.
14:01Listen, Martin's been a wonderful signing for Hibs.
14:04I think they've done a swap deal with Dundee for the boy Harris, which I think Hibs got the better
14:08of that deal.
14:09So Alex Harris, and he's been magnificent, you know, obviously part of the Scottish Cup winning team,
14:14you know, and scored a hat-trick against Rangers at Hampden.
14:17You know, he's been a wonderful player for Hibs.
14:18And this will be his last Edinburgh Derby and he wants to go out with a bang.
14:22As I said yesterday, he's been in and out of the team.
14:24But I think it's a game for experiences.
14:26Listen, Edinburgh Derbys are 100 miles an hour.
14:28But I just look at this one and think, with so much at stake, it's going to be 1,000
14:32miles an hour
14:33and you're only going to get a second on the ball.
14:34So I think it's, you know, you're looking for guys that have experienced it before,
14:38played in plenty of Edinburgh Derbys so they can stand up and they know what's coming,
14:42rather than people that are experiencing it for the first time.
14:44So, yeah, it's going to be a magnificent game, I hope.
14:47But I think that Martin Boyle will start.
14:49I think he'll start up front with Elding.
14:51I think they'll go and try and get in behind Hearts and test him down the flanks.
14:54Do you like Elding?
14:55I like Elding.
14:56As I said, I spoke to a few guys over in Ireland before he signed
15:00and they all raved about him.
15:02Jack Iredale thinks he's going to be a superstar.
15:04Yeah, I mean, the word that I was getting back was he's straight into the team at Hibs
15:07and I thought, it's only 18, he's playing in Ireland.
15:10I don't know if he's going straight into that at Hibs team.
15:11Hibs had some decent forwards there, he's been right into the team.
15:14And, you know, he looks a great prospect.
15:16So, I think him and Martin Boyle would cause Hearts all sorts of problems.
15:21And it's amazing, by the way, when you think, and let's not forget Souto as well,
15:25they're not talking about Kieran Bowie.
15:27There's been that smooth transition.
15:29Yep, they haven't been talking about it.
15:30And I think that Hibs needed to freshen up.
15:33I said that at the time, they needed to freshen up the forward line.
15:35You know, it just wasn't happening.
15:36Kieran Bowie left to get a big fee.
15:38They brought Souto in, they brought Dane Scarlett in and loan from Tottenham.
15:41And they brought Elding in and I just think it's gave everyone a lift.
15:44That freshness, that hunger of new players coming in.
15:48And, you know, they'll be hoping to go and do the business on Sunday.
15:51So, yeah, I think the Hibs have got the players, Jamie McGrath in behind there,
15:55to go and cause Hearts problems.
15:57But at the other end, Braga, Shankland,
15:59with two of the top goal scorers in the league,
16:01they're going to cause Hibs problems.
16:03So, it's set up for a Belton game.
16:05Yeah, and again, I think when they were asked about the referee,
16:10I didn't think it was going to be that important about it.
16:12Don Robertson is the match official.
16:13And I don't know about you, but I think he's a steady pair of hands.
16:17Yeah, I think he's top three.
16:19Is that good?
16:19Yeah, he's top three.
16:20I think he'd be particularly disappointed that him in particular
16:24never got a shout to be at the World Cup as a referee.
16:27I think the disappointing, you would have thought
16:29we would at least get one to be a representative of the country
16:34at the World Cup, and he would have been the one I'd have picked,
16:36you know, to go there.
16:38So, it's unfortunate, but they just have to go on it.
16:41I've asked everybody to give us their predictions on the feed as well, Ruffy,
16:45and of course, anybody in the comments section when you're watching.
16:49There's the great thing about watching the programme
16:50is you don't necessarily need to watch it live.
16:52We did bring it back, actually,
16:53just because people like having a go at each other.
16:55But people watching at their leisure throughout the night,
16:59near and far, the majority of the people who watch
17:02are actually based in the UK, love the regularity of it.
17:05There's a lot of people, expats, who watch it at their own leisure
17:09at a time that's ideal for them.
17:12So, thank you to so many of you for actually following us
17:15throughout the season.
17:15We really enjoy your support.
17:17And if you haven't yet subscribed, please do hit the subscribe button
17:21and come and join the PLZ family.
17:23We value it.
17:24The tough thing, Ruffy, is this is the toughest one yet.
17:27We're now two days away from it,
17:29and you're going to have to give us your prediction, Ruffy.
17:31Yeah, I think home advantage is going to be massive in this one.
17:34You know, obviously, it's an easy saying.
17:37First goal is always important.
17:38It will be important, you know, for Hibs.
17:40The place will erupt, you know, and if Hartz get it,
17:43they'll believe that it's a head start for them.
17:46I'm going to go for Hibs.
17:47I'm going to go for Hibs to win 2-1.
17:49Hibs to win 2-1.
17:51And does that, for you, there's a double-edged question,
17:53does that kill off Hartz?
17:54No, not at all.
17:55No, I'm right.
17:56You know, I don't think Hartz will lose points.
18:00I think Rangers and Celtic will lose points.
18:02I think Hibs, as we've already said,
18:04and Motherwell, have a lot to say to the games that come up.
18:07But I think the important ones are Celtic versus Rangers.
18:10Hartz versus Rangers and Hartz versus Celtic.
18:14Yeah.
18:15Declan says Hartz are due in a way win.
18:173-0 to Hartz.
18:18That's not an away win.
18:19That's an away mollocation.
18:22That's an absolute...
18:23She's obviously sitting in the garden with a laptop with a little vodka.
18:29I mean, listen...
18:30Get some mixer in that, Declan.
18:31Don says Hibs nil, Hartz nil.
18:34Listen, I just couldn't bear a nil-nil.
18:37It wouldn't surprise me, Peter.
18:38I was speaking to a couple of guys last night and talking about it.
18:43This game needs an early goal for me.
18:45If you want it, you can go and ignite and be a real spectacle.
18:48But if it's 60, 70 minutes, it's still nil-nil.
18:52You're going to see no-mistake football.
18:54And I've played in games like that where it's finished nil-nil,
18:56where it's a hot totty.
18:57Just get a debt.
18:58Don't make a mistake.
18:58Defenders, there's no passing through lines or quality.
19:03It's just, don't make a mistake.
19:04And that could be that.
19:05But hopefully you get an early goal.
19:07But I fancy Hibs as well, 2-1, Peter.
19:09Flying Haggis says Hibs 2, Hartz 1.
19:12That's what I fancy.
19:13Hibs 2-1.
19:13You know what?
19:14The more I think about it,
19:16the more that I think Hartz need to win it.
19:19I thought there was a wee sneaky feeling
19:21there might be an upset in this one.
19:23But I'm going to stick with,
19:26because you two are two hibbies,
19:28don't shake your head.
19:30I'm going to stick with Hartz to win it 2-1.
19:33Because I've tipped him to win the league, Ruffy.
19:36Will it be a well-earned 2-1
19:37or will it be a lucky 2-1?
19:41See, if it's a lucky 2-1.
19:42I'm going in to see it.
19:43I'm going in as well.
19:43I've got a press pass.
19:44I'm going to sit down and I'm going to film it.
19:46Yeah, you've got it.
19:47I don't need to see Derek that you're very lucky there.
19:48Yeah.
19:49No chance I'm saying it.
19:50No, can I tell you something right now?
19:52You just don't know me in a press conference,
19:54believe me.
19:55I've taken a few real heavy ones from them.
19:58But no, if he's lucky, I'm going to tell him.
20:00I go on, can we tell him?
20:02I mean, it's the end of the day.
20:03I mean, if you're lucky, you're lucky.
20:04There's many ways to be lucky.
20:05Yeah, if he wins the game,
20:07he'll no care what you say to him.
20:08You can say whatever you like.
20:10Yeah, absolutely.
20:11Listen, at the end of the day,
20:13if it comes off somebody's back end,
20:15deflects, somebody handles it,
20:16they get away with it,
20:17and they win 2-1,
20:18he'll no be caring.
20:19No, not at all.
20:20Let's hope it's not a VAR.
20:22Decision.
20:23Let's hope it's 11 players on the park at the end.
20:25I hope there's nothing controversial,
20:27and I hope we're talking about it.
20:29Some of the games,
20:29the Hibs Hearts games,
20:30some of the goals have been fantastic.
20:33Now, let's talk about it on Monday,
20:34let's talk about a fantastic winner,
20:37you know, rather than the negative stuff.
20:39I think discipline's going to be important as well, Peter.
20:41From the fans as well, do you think?
20:42Yeah.
20:43Listen, you're hoping the fans behave themselves
20:45because we've seen it at the Celtic Rangers game
20:47with the big away support,
20:48but they didn't.
20:49And Hibs and Hearts,
20:51there's been small incidents over the years,
20:54nothing major,
20:55no pitch invasions and stuff like that,
20:57so you're hoping that they behave themselves.
20:58But discipline on the pitch as well,
20:59I think for me,
21:00keeping the loving men apart is going to be crucial
21:01because it's going to be a feisty atmosphere
21:04and there's going to be tackles flying.
21:05Hearts getting the whole stand.
21:06Yeah.
21:08That's good, isn't it?
21:08Good atmosphere.
21:09That's good, isn't it?
21:09Two sensible clubs.
21:11Two clubs with a forward thinking, Ruffy.
21:13Mm-hmm.
21:13Yeah?
21:14Yeah, my good idea.
21:14Should I labour on it or should I just...
21:16No, just let it go.
21:17There's plenty of stewards there.
21:20Exactly.
21:21Horses.
21:22Have you got a minder to get you in?
21:25Somebody walk along the road where you get you in?
21:27No, he wants to go to...
21:28He's like,
21:29I'll meet you in Giuliano's
21:30and I'm thinking to myself,
21:32there's work to be done.
21:33I'm not walking along Easter Road,
21:35you know,
21:35with half an hour to go before kick-off.
21:38It's just a no-no, is it, Ruffy?
21:40I mean, the side streets will be chalk.
21:42You are, aren't you?
21:43You are taking a chance.
21:44Yeah?
21:44That was fine.
21:45Yeah.
21:46Okay, you're taking a chance.
21:48Okay, we've given you a prediction,
21:50you give us your prediction on that one.
21:52It's the Edinburgh Derby.
21:53So looking forward to it.
21:55That's Sunday.
21:55Are you happy with the 4.30 kick-off?
21:58Aye.
21:59Yeah.
21:59I think it's fine, aye.
22:00Yeah.
22:00Okay.
22:01Is that a holiday?
22:02No, that's next week.
22:03Yeah.
22:03Celtic against Falkirk.
22:05Callum McGregor says Celtic still have the edge
22:07in the title race.
22:08He reckons that Martin Ail has worked wonders,
22:11should be considered for the manager's job.
22:14And he also said he won't be staying at Celtic
22:16if the club don't match his ambition as well,
22:19which I think fair play to him on this
22:22because they have announced that two players
22:24have signed new deals.
22:25Luke McCowan has signed a new deal until 2028.
22:29Liam Scales signs a new deal until 2030,
22:33which is, that's a big commitment.
22:35First and foremost,
22:35what do you make of Callum McGregor's comments?
22:37Yeah, well, I think he's been there a long, long time
22:40and the success that he has.
22:42Just remind me,
22:43has he got the record amount of medals with Scott Brown?
22:45No, that's James Forrest.
22:47So he can't be far away.
22:48So he's been there with a humongous amount of success
22:52and winning finals.
22:54And when you get a year that you get this year,
22:57it must be disappointing for him.
22:59You know, everything hasn't been going particularly well.
23:01So he's human like everybody else.
23:03You know, I think he's just thrown a wee grenade out there
23:07to the owners to say,
23:08look, I play in every game.
23:11I love the club.
23:12I want to be the captain.
23:13I want to win medals.
23:15I want to win most of the games I play.
23:17And it's up to you.
23:18This year has been a disaster.
23:20You need to get your act together.
23:22Or I'll look elsewhere.
23:24Yeah.
23:24He doesn't want to be somebody
23:25who's just grinding down his time as a loser.
23:29No.
23:30I think that Callum's obviously used to unprecedented success at Celtic
23:34from day one, really.
23:36He's won everything at the club.
23:39And he wants the club to match his ambition.
23:41And I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
23:43I remember, was it Wayne Rooney went into Alex Ferguson
23:45and asked for a transfer for that same reason?
23:48That he didn't see the quality coming in.
23:50And I think Fergie persuaded them to stay.
23:52But I think if you're a top player or a captain,
23:55you want your club to...
23:56You're rewriting history.
23:59I have to jump in there.
24:01It's not Wayne Rooney, chappity chap, hello.
24:04I want to know your ambition.
24:06Because Fergie said,
24:07I'll wait you and take a flying f*** to yourself
24:09and get out of the room.
24:10I'll decide who it says.
24:12It was a short conversation.
24:14But Rooney did go in and ask that question.
24:16Who was signing?
24:17But yeah, I think when you look at the quality
24:19and the players that Celtic have signed this season,
24:21I think Callum McGregor will be a wee bit scunnered.
24:24You know, he'll be looking for more quality,
24:26better players to come in and to help him.
24:28Because guys like him, I think,
24:30have been kind of hung out to dry this season
24:31with the players that have come in at Celtic.
24:33So he's used to play my real quality.
24:35And I don't think that's been there this year.
24:37So yeah, I think he's quite within his rights
24:39to ask the question, you know,
24:41are we going to be ambitious?
24:42Are we going to go and try and get into the Champions League again
24:45and do well in Europe?
24:46Or are we going to go backwards like we have this season?
24:48I mean, Kevin makes a good point.
24:50He says,
24:50Callum McGregor didn't actually say that he would leave.
24:52Sometimes it's what they say and the way they say it.
24:55And quite simply,
24:56as a captain who's been winning regularly,
24:58he will not want to wind down,
25:00you know,
25:01watching the team getting battered.
25:03Because the one key issue here,
25:05Ruffey,
25:05is when you get to that situation,
25:07you then start to hear fans taking the easy way out
25:11and the easy targets.
25:12And he'd become one of them.
25:13Yeah,
25:14again,
25:15if you're the Celtic captain,
25:16your career's going to finish sometime.
25:18And when your career finishes,
25:20you want to be remembered as the captain.
25:23You know,
25:23like obviously Scott Brown,
25:25Danny McGrane,
25:26Billy McNeil,
25:27you know,
25:27these guys,
25:28you know,
25:29will be remembered forever.
25:30And I think Callum's earned that right,
25:32you know,
25:33for the way he's come in as a young boy
25:35and moving up the ranks
25:36and obviously being captain.
25:38So I think at the end of the day,
25:39he'll want to be remembered as one of the,
25:41not saying the best,
25:43captains,
25:43but up there with the rest of them.
25:45Well,
25:46he's certainly,
25:46he's been different from Scott.
25:48Scott was a kind of a fiery character
25:51and combative.
25:52Callum,
25:53I think,
25:53is just sheer class.
25:55I just wonder how many years he's got left in his legs
25:58and whether he'll be looking and saying to himself,
26:00you know,
26:00maybe,
26:01maybe one more year and then go and get a payday somewhere.
26:03Yeah,
26:04I think the problem with Callum is the amount of games he plays
26:06and he always puts himself forward.
26:08He's very rarely injured.
26:09I think he's played 50 odd games a season.
26:11He usually plays between 50 and 60 games a season
26:13and that must take a toll on your body,
26:15Peter.
26:16I think he's carrying an injury.
26:17Yeah,
26:17I think he is at the minute.
26:18I think he's playing through it
26:19and I think that Martin O'Neill needs him in the team.
26:21I think just for his leadership qualities,
26:23even a 60,
26:2470% fit Callum McGregor,
26:26the better limit they've got in there.
26:27I'd love to,
26:28I'd love to ask him,
26:29you know,
26:31would at this moment in time
26:32be a regret for him
26:34saying he didn't want to play for Scotland
26:37to go to the World Cup
26:38because I think he's done everything in the game
26:40to justify going to a World Cup with Scotland.
26:43I know he was carrying,
26:44I know he was carrying an injury.
26:45He's retired before he would qualify.
26:47Yeah,
26:48I know,
26:48but I mean,
26:48I would wonder if he maybe
26:50in the back he'd regretting,
26:52you know,
26:52because I think he would have been a big player for us
26:55in that kind of style of football over there.
26:57Don't rule him out,
26:58by the way,
26:58because he could pick up an injury
27:00and they might go cap and hand to him.
27:02Yeah,
27:02yeah,
27:02I think they should.
27:03If that is the case,
27:04I'd be on the phone.
27:06Kaiser has said,
27:07beautiful day here in the Granite City,
27:09nay a cloud in the sky.
27:11I'm not very good at Aberdeen accents,
27:13but Kaiser,
27:14it's good to hear from you.
27:15Catherine is over in Spain.
27:17She says it's absolutely sunny,
27:19as you would expect.
27:21Someone else actually sent us a message
27:23and they were somewhere,
27:25Thailand,
27:25roasting as well.
27:27Does it actually rain in Thailand?
27:30Yeah,
27:30it depends on the time of the year.
27:32That's what they get a fair share,
27:34but they know it as they welcome the rain.
27:37Yeah.
27:38Because it's so warm,
27:39more than humid all the time.
27:40If the rain comes,
27:41it's a bonus.
27:42Yeah.
27:42I mean,
27:42another day there,
27:43there was just a slight hint of sun
27:45and I think the temperature
27:47was maybe around about nine or ten
27:50and I spotted somebody
27:51walking up the break
27:53with a t-shirt and the shorts on.
27:55I'm like,
27:56get a grip.
27:57It's not quite there yet.
27:58We are so starved of sunshine here.
28:00As soon as we get a bit of good weather,
28:02people get their taps off,
28:03they're sitting in the garden
28:03having a drink.
28:04It's brilliant.
28:04We enjoy the sunny weather.
28:06That's why we all go on holiday
28:08every year.
28:09And disproportionately,
28:09we buy convertibles
28:12compared to the weather we get.
28:13My wife's mad into convertibles.
28:15My wife is desperate for a convertible
28:16and I says,
28:17why would you?
28:17We had one when we stayed in America.
28:19I says,
28:19that was fine.
28:20Did you play football in America?
28:21I did.
28:22I played in Colorado for a year
28:23and then New York for a year or two.
28:25Car did you have?
28:28I got her a convertible Beetle.
28:29Oh, did you?
28:30Oh, really nice.
28:31She wasn't meant to be getting one
28:32because we'd won cab between us
28:34and I went in with my agent
28:34to the showroom
28:36and I seen this nice Audi.
28:37I says,
28:37I'll take that.
28:38Much as a month,
28:39blah, blah, blah,
28:39right, okay.
28:41Convertible?
28:41No, no.
28:42My agent went,
28:43they've got a convertible Beetle.
28:46My missus' favourite car's a Beetle.
28:47Right.
28:48She said,
28:48they've got a convertible Beetle there
28:49and my wife just looked at me
28:51with the eyes going,
28:52please.
28:54And I was like,
28:54ah,
28:54that's going to be too much
28:55and my agent says,
28:57no, no,
28:58you're a dear deal.
28:59Is that right?
29:00So she drove out with that and all.
29:02And suddenly?
29:03And then I get binned after a year,
29:04right,
29:05and I had a two-year lease
29:06and I thought,
29:06what am I going to do with the cars?
29:07I can't take them back to Scotland.
29:08So I just wrote a wee note saying,
29:09listen,
29:10sorry,
29:10we're way back to Scotland.
29:11Put the two keys through the letterbox
29:13of the car's room
29:13and then buggered off back to Scotland.
29:15Were they leased?
29:16Yeah.
29:16Oh,
29:17it's fine.
29:17So I've never heard dead and back,
29:19so hopefully.
29:19It's a different world over there.
29:21The commercial manager
29:22when I was in Orlando
29:23said to me,
29:24you'll need a car,
29:25I said,
29:26aye,
29:26he said,
29:26just leave it to me.
29:27And I get up the next morning
29:28and opened the curtains
29:29and there was a yellow
29:32Mustang convertible
29:33sitting inside the door.
29:34Is that right?
29:36Nothing's any object to them,
29:37you know?
29:38Yeah.
29:38And if they put you in an apartment,
29:40they furnish the apartment,
29:41they just go to a store
29:42that you rent all the furniture
29:44and that all appears as well.
29:45Yeah.
29:46Les has said,
29:47wow,
29:47Tam played in America.
29:49Jingles.
29:49Never heard that.
29:51I know where you're coming from,
29:52Les.
29:53I get it,
29:54actually,
29:54but convertible,
29:55good.
29:56Yeah,
29:56I like that,
29:57Tam.
29:57Not in Scotland.
29:58Pointless.
29:59Absolutely.
30:01Anyway,
30:02Luke McCowan,
30:03Liam Scales,
30:03good deals?
30:04We've talked about
30:05players,
30:06teams,
30:06Scottish players,
30:07retaining them.
30:09The interesting one for me,
30:10Peter,
30:11is James Forrest,
30:13Luke McCowan,
30:13Liam Scales.
30:15I spoke on this show
30:16about two months ago
30:17and I said that I could see
30:19if Martin O'Neill
30:20won the league,
30:21he would stay on
30:22as a manager
30:23the next season.
30:23I don't think many people
30:24agreed,
30:25thought it would be
30:25his last year.
30:27I think Martin O'Neill
30:28is going to be involved
30:29at Celtic
30:29in some form
30:30next season.
30:31Now,
30:31whether that's being
30:32the manager of the club,
30:33if they win the league
30:33in the cup,
30:34I think there'll be
30:35a clamour for him
30:35to stay on.
30:36Or,
30:37if they don't,
30:38some sort of
30:38director of football
30:39because it must be
30:40Martin O'Neill
30:40that's going to the board
30:41and saying,
30:42give him a new contract,
30:43give him a new contract,
30:45he needs a new contract.
30:46It's not the board,
30:46give him a...
30:47It must be the manager
30:48or Sean Maloney
30:49or people going,
30:50listen,
30:50we need to get them
30:50tied down.
30:51Well,
30:51is that a stretch,
30:52Luke McCown
30:53and Liam Scales?
30:53Is that something
30:54you think...
30:56I think the jury
30:57will be out for...
30:59I think James Forrest
31:00maybe for another year.
31:01Liam Scales,
31:02for me,
31:03divides opinion
31:03when they sell to the
31:04supporters.
31:04I quite like him.
31:05I think he's a solid
31:05professional.
31:06I don't think he's a
31:07starter every week
31:08but he doesn't let you
31:09down.
31:10Giving him another
31:10four-year deal,
31:12fair play to him.
31:13I think he's a solid
31:14player.
31:15Luke McCown,
31:17a squad player.
31:19Giving him a new
31:19contract,
31:20I'm not so sure.
31:21I think Celtic
31:21should be looking
31:22for better quality.
31:23What about Connor
31:24who says it's part
31:24of the homegrown
31:25quota?
31:26Probably Luke McCown,
31:28James Forrest.
31:28That's why obviously
31:29Ralson's hanging about.
31:31Liam Scales is solid.
31:33I wouldn't have been
31:34against it,
31:34Peter.
31:35But at the same time,
31:36if Luke McCown
31:37left and Liam Scales
31:38left,
31:39would the Celtic fans
31:41be bitterly disappointed?
31:42I don't think so.
31:43Well,
31:43I have to tell you,
31:44it's funny you saying
31:45that because obviously
31:46Arnett Engels has been
31:47linked with a move
31:48to Lazio and then
31:49Norringham Forrest.
31:50But I look at it,
31:51Ruffy,
31:51and I'm only just
31:52giving you what I
31:53think are people I
31:55think will be going
31:55out the door.
31:57Will Oxlade
31:58Chamberlain be there
31:59in the summer?
31:59Don't think so.
32:00Engels could be on
32:01his way,
32:02sellable asset.
32:03Even Negrin's a
32:03sellable asset.
32:05Hattati and Maeda,
32:06they want to go.
32:07Chavanchara's
32:07definitely going back.
32:08Araujo's back
32:09already.
32:10Sarachi will be
32:10going back off loan.
32:11Arthur,
32:12Mbuka,
32:13Adamu,
32:14they'll be going
32:15back.
32:16Ian Acho will be
32:18at the end of his
32:19contract and are
32:20they going to sign
32:20him?
32:21That's a wad of
32:22players there.
32:23Yeah,
32:23you're right.
32:24Whoever is the
32:25manager next season
32:27has got his work
32:28cut out and the
32:30Celtic supporters
32:30will be hoping that
32:32the board have
32:33learnt their lesson
32:33and the quality
32:34that they've been
32:35bringing in and the
32:35way they've been
32:36bringing them in.
32:37They'll be hoping
32:38if it is Martin.
32:39You know Martin
32:40is actively at this
32:41moment identifying
32:43players because a
32:45lot of these players
32:45as the Celtic
32:46supporters will say
32:47just aren't the
32:48standard of what
32:49Celtic used to have
32:50when they were in
32:51Europe and the
32:52calibre of player.
32:53The boy scales.
32:55I agree with
32:55everything that
32:57Tam says.
32:57I think he's a
32:58great workman
32:59light.
32:59I've never ever
33:00been a big fan of
33:02his.
33:02I think he's good
33:04in everything that
33:05Tam says.
33:06A workman light
33:06and they'll let you
33:07down.
33:08But centre-half
33:10for Celtic should
33:11have a standing
33:12of quality that's
33:14bigger than Liam.
33:15You know and I
33:17think they need to
33:18identify two centre-halves
33:20that are going to
33:21I don't know why
33:21you pointed out
33:22Europe.
33:22They haven't got
33:23any ambition in
33:23Europe.
33:2421 years of
33:25misery.
33:25Well if they're
33:26going to go along
33:26the road of what
33:27they've got this
33:28year they'd better
33:28get their ag
33:29together because
33:30it's going to
33:30happen again.
33:31I say 21 years
33:32it's sporadic
33:33half-decent results
33:34but not any great
33:36ambition.
33:36I mean even
33:37over the course
33:39of the last
33:40few weeks
33:42there's been
33:43still in the
33:43background real
33:44growing unrest
33:45about this board.
33:47It's not going
33:47away.
33:48I don't think
33:48that's going to
33:49appease the fans
33:50that today.
33:51No.
33:51I think that when
33:52you look at
33:54there's no many
33:54players in that
33:55Celtic squad if
33:56you gave them a
33:56new contract the
33:57Celtic fans would
33:58be overjoyed
33:58with.
33:58Is there?
33:59Really?
34:00In terms of this
34:01season there's
34:01nobody standing
34:02out as having a
34:03great season you
34:04think we need to
34:04get him tied
34:05down.
34:05So yeah it's
34:08I don't think
34:09that I think the
34:09Celtic supporters
34:10will be
34:11I don't think
34:12they're both
34:12overly enamoured
34:13with those guys
34:14getting new
34:14contracts but
34:15I think they're
34:16solid enough
34:16squad players
34:17but if you're
34:17looking to make
34:18an impression
34:19in Europe
34:19you're looking
34:19to win a
34:21league.
34:21You're probably
34:22needing better
34:22than that.
34:22They're playing
34:24Falkirk
34:24the Bairns
34:26have no Scott
34:27Bain, Liam
34:27Henderson and
34:28Philip Lisa
34:29out so that's
34:30three key players
34:31for them.
34:31I just wonder
34:32what the feedback
34:33would be in the
34:34fallout from the
34:35cup game against
34:36Infermline.
34:37I wonder if
34:37their season's
34:39just about to
34:39fizzle out
34:40Tam.
34:41Possibly the
34:42Falkirk fans
34:42won't want that
34:43to happen.
34:45Bitterly
34:45disappointing
34:46performance last
34:46week.
34:47Probably the
34:47first time under
34:49John McGlynn
34:49that they've
34:50really let the
34:50supporters do.
34:52They've came
34:53through the
34:53leagues and
34:54getting the
34:55top six this
34:55season has
34:56been unprecedented
34:57success for
34:58Falkirk over
34:58the last few
34:59seasons but
34:59that will hurt
35:00the Falkirk
35:01supporters,
35:02that will hurt
35:02the players.
35:03The week
35:03before I think
35:05maybe knocked
35:05the stuffing
35:06out of them
35:06losing six to
35:06Rangers,
35:07maybe knocked
35:08their confidence.
35:09Now they've
35:10got to go to
35:10Celtic Park.
35:12It isn't
35:13danger of
35:13fizzling out,
35:14they'll still
35:14have ambitions
35:15to try and
35:15catch Hibs but
35:18I can only see
35:20a home win
35:20here, Celtic
35:21against
35:21Falkirk but
35:21again I
35:23don't see
35:23Celtic going
35:23I know they
35:24scored goals
35:25an extra time
35:25the other day
35:26but I don't
35:27see them
35:27scoring four
35:28and five
35:28against Falkirk.
35:29Prediction?
35:31Two and
35:31I'll to
35:32Celtic.
35:33Two one.
35:34Yeah,
35:35difficult to
35:35pick yourself
35:36up after a
35:36defeat like
35:37that,
35:37your whole
35:39season to
35:41get there
35:42and the
35:43disappointment.
35:43I know he's
35:44got a few
35:44characters in
35:45the dressing
35:45room that
35:46could maybe
35:47help them
35:47through it but
35:48I think Celtic
35:49will be rampant
35:50tomorrow and I
35:51think there
35:51will be goals.
35:52Ramping?
35:52Yeah.
35:53What's ramp?
35:54Ramping's at
35:55least three
35:55nothing.
35:56Three nothing?
35:57Okay,
35:57write that
35:58down,
35:59ramping's
35:59three nothing.
36:00Ruffy's never
36:01ever went over
36:02a three goal win
36:03in all the time
36:03I've known him.
36:04On this show?
36:05On this show.
36:06You've never said
36:07a four or five.
36:08There's a one
36:08coming up.
36:09Oh,
36:10interesting.
36:10Okay,
36:11more than three
36:12goals?
36:12Yep.
36:12Okay,
36:13don't change
36:14your mind.
36:15Rangers against
36:16Motherwell.
36:16Now,
36:17the Rangers
36:17boss.
36:17Oh no.
36:21Okay,
36:23the Rangers
36:24Motherwell
36:25match.
36:26Now that we
36:27know his
36:27prediction,
36:28of course all
36:29the news was
36:30about James
36:30Tavernier saying
36:31that he'll be
36:32leaving at the
36:32end of the
36:33season.
36:34Danny
36:34Rowe,
36:34the Rangers
36:35boss,
36:35clearly today
36:36talking about
36:37it all,
36:38says that this
36:39is the perfect
36:40chance to give
36:40him the perfect
36:41send-off.
36:42Finally,
36:43he makes the
36:44final decision
36:45for him.
36:47I think it's
36:49also not for
36:51me.
36:52How can I
36:53describe this?
36:54He's a legend
36:55of the club
36:56and I think
36:58just what I can
36:59say,
37:00made an amazing
37:01career here.
37:02He saw all
37:03the good
37:04moments.
37:05He saw also
37:07some not so
37:08good moments
37:09and hopefully
37:09at the end
37:10of the season
37:10he can see
37:11again.
37:12a beautiful
37:13moment.
37:14Well, the
37:15ultimate is
37:16Danny Rowe
37:16pointed out,
37:17five games,
37:1721 days to
37:18give him the
37:19perfect send-off.
37:20Yeah, and
37:21listen, I think
37:22the Rangers
37:22supporters,
37:23whatever happens
37:23will surely
37:24give James
37:25Tavernier a
37:25great send-off.
37:26I think he's
37:26been a brilliant
37:27player for the
37:27club.
37:28We spoke about
37:29it yesterday
37:29in the show.
37:30I don't think
37:31winning three
37:32trophies in 11
37:33years is all
37:34on him.
37:35It's disappointing
37:35as a Rangers
37:36captain.
37:37I think he's
37:38been a brilliant
37:38player for the
37:39Rangers and no
37:39matter what
37:40happens, I think
37:41he'll get a
37:41great send-off.
37:42But if the
37:43Rangers are going
37:43to win the
37:43league, what a
37:44send-off that'll
37:45be for James
37:45Tavernier.
37:47So they're in
37:48the mix to win
37:49it.
37:49They're playing a
37:50motherly team that's
37:51again like Falkirk
37:52fell off it over the
37:53last three or four
37:54weeks.
37:55And you're
37:55thinking, obviously
37:57they've still got
37:58fourth to play for
37:59but have they run
38:00the race?
38:01Are they starting
38:01to get leggy?
38:02Are they starting
38:03to catch up with
38:05them?
38:05It remains to be
38:06seen but I would
38:07fancy Rangers
38:07comfortably here at
38:08home.
38:11Romans and
38:12Nadiri are out
38:13but at home they
38:15really have been
38:16formidable,
38:17Ruffie.
38:17Yeah, and they
38:18found their goal
38:19scoring.
38:20They're the one
38:21scoring six goals
38:22at the beginning
38:23of the season.
38:23They were
38:23struggling to score
38:24one or two
38:26but they're
38:26buoyant now and
38:27we've said it all
38:28along this year at
38:29home, if they get
38:30an early goal,
38:31they can be hard
38:33to pin back and
38:34they certainly are
38:35scoring goals now
38:36and I think they'll
38:36continue that.
38:37I think the
38:37confidence is there.
38:38The fans have all
38:40bought into the
38:41way they're playing
38:42and obviously
38:42winning.
38:43They now believe
38:44that this is the
38:45year they're going
38:45to win the league
38:46so everything's
38:47rosy at Ibrook
38:48so I think
38:48Motherwell better
38:49beware at the
38:50weekend.
38:51Just looking at
38:52Rangers, obviously
38:53everybody will
38:53looking and
38:54seeing it.
38:54James Tavernier
38:56didn't take a
38:56rocket scientist
38:57to work out
38:58that he wasn't
38:58going to be part
38:59of the plans
38:59long term.
39:01This will be
39:01Danny Rose, I
39:03think, real
39:04summer of
39:06changing the
39:07side dramatically.
39:08Does he lose a
39:09few players?
39:09Does Fernandes
39:10get the big move?
39:11He's certainly
39:11been catching
39:13the eye.
39:13He's linked
39:13with Feyenoord.
39:14He's a sellable
39:15asset.
39:15Yeah, he
39:16certainly is.
39:17Obviously, when
39:18you're in a
39:19successful team
39:20and you've got
39:21managers who
39:22know where
39:23you've come
39:23from and he
39:24hasn't done
39:25particularly well
39:25considering the
39:27centre-halves he's
39:27been playing
39:28with.
39:28They've been
39:28chopping and
39:29changing but
39:29he's been there
39:31scoring goals.
39:32Nobody's talking
39:33about Raskin
39:33moving anywhere.
39:34Raskin's not
39:35talking about
39:35moving.
39:37I don't think
39:38they've got as
39:39much of a
39:41build-up at the
39:42end of the
39:43season as what
39:43Celtic have.
39:44Yeah, how do
39:45you see this
39:45one going?
39:46I think 4-0.
39:474-0 to Rangers?
39:48Yeah, I think
39:48Rangers will
39:49hammer them,
39:49yeah.
39:50Wow, that's an
39:51interesting one.
39:51I understand where
39:52Ruffy's coming from
39:53because if you look
39:54at the last five
39:54games, four defeats
39:55and one drop
39:56on Motherwell.
39:57Yeah, I think
39:59Rangers are
39:59comfortable with
40:00but I can see
40:02Rangers winning
40:023-0.
40:04Motherwell have
40:04been brilliant
40:05this season but
40:05they're just
40:06showing signs
40:07the last few
40:07weeks that
40:08maybe running
40:09next team.
40:10So 3-0 to Rangers
40:11for me.
40:11I missed, obviously
40:13when I was away,
40:13I missed the
40:14nominations of
40:15the player of
40:15the year.
40:16I believe there
40:17was a few
40:17Motherwell boys
40:18in it.
40:19Yeah, four?
40:20Yeah.
40:21And again,
40:22Jens Berthalaskow
40:23has been talking
40:23about the fact
40:24that Motherwell
40:25players dominate
40:26the team of
40:27the season and
40:28he did mention
40:30that of course
40:30that's a fair
40:31indication of
40:32the summer and
40:33how people will
40:34be coming to
40:35try and steal
40:35a few players.
40:36Obviously it
40:38doesn't make
40:39their value
40:39less that they
40:42are first of all
40:43performing really
40:44well and that
40:44they get that
40:45recognition as
40:47well.
40:47Obviously it
40:47attracts more
40:48attention and it
40:49underlines that
40:51it's not just us
40:52who think that
40:53they have done
40:54really well and
40:55value them highly
40:56but so does
40:58other very
41:00intelligent and
41:01football
41:02wise people
41:03in this country.
41:05Well, I think
41:06the one thing
41:07about it that
41:07Motherwell fans
41:08don't want to
41:09hear and they
41:09certainly don't
41:10want to see it
41:10is quite simply
41:12a fire sale
41:13where everybody
41:14goes, right,
41:15we'll have
41:15Elliot Wall,
41:16we'll take
41:19Masvinisi,
41:19we'll definitely
41:20have a look at
41:20Eli Just,
41:21would they be
41:22taking a look at
41:22anybody else in
41:23that line-up as
41:25well?
41:26Yeah, I think
41:26Sparrow,
41:26Faddinger,
41:27there's a lot of
41:28guys in there
41:28who have had
41:29fantastic seasons
41:30so yeah,
41:32that's what
41:32happens when you're
41:32a club the size
41:33of Motherwell,
41:33Peter,
41:33you have a
41:34really, really
41:34good season,
41:35strong season,
41:36it's the same
41:36with Hibs and
41:36Hearts,
41:37your players get
41:38cherry-picked
41:38and not only
41:41from clubs down
41:41in England
41:42but Hibs,
41:42Hearts,
41:43Celtic Rangers
41:44all play a
41:44lot more
41:44money than
41:45Aberdeen,
41:46play a lot
41:46more money
41:46than Motherwell
41:47so you can
41:48see them
41:48staying in
41:49Scotland
41:49going to
41:49a bigger
41:50club here
41:50so no,
41:51I think
41:52they've been
41:52brilliant this
41:53season,
41:53they've been
41:53a breath of
41:53fresh air to
41:54watch,
41:55you hope it
41:56doesn't peter
41:56out disappointingly
41:58and then people
41:59just remember
42:00that the last
42:01six or seven
42:02games rather
42:02than the
42:03previous
42:0430-odd
42:04so I don't
42:07see them
42:07getting out
42:07in the
42:08Ibrox,
42:08Peter.
42:08If he ever
42:09was on the
42:09list,
42:10do you think
42:10the last five
42:10games have
42:11maybe taken
42:11him off the
42:12list?
42:13I think
42:14when you
42:14are a
42:14manager or
42:15a player
42:15you want
42:15to finish
42:16the season
42:16strongly,
42:17it's amazing
42:18because if
42:18you're a
42:18striker and
42:19you score
42:2020 goals
42:21in the first
42:21six months
42:21of the season
42:22and then
42:22score two
42:23in the second
42:23six months,
42:24people think
42:25he's not a
42:26great season
42:26but if you
42:26reverse it,
42:28if you score
42:28two in the
42:28first six months
42:29and then 20
42:29you're finishing
42:30the season
42:31flying,
42:31you're freshen
42:32people's heads.
42:33I think it's
42:33the same with
42:34management,
42:34Peter,
42:34if you've had
42:35a really
42:35strong start
42:36to the season
42:36and then you've
42:37had a poor
42:37end to it,
42:38people just
42:39tend to
42:39remember that
42:39rather than
42:40the other
42:40way about,
42:41so you're
42:42hoping that
42:42overall he's
42:43judged and
42:43his whole
42:44body will
42:44work rather
42:44than just
42:45the last
42:45six or
42:45seven weeks.
42:46Okay,
42:46all three of
42:47us have
42:47gone for
42:52Rangers to
42:52win that
42:52one.
42:53Kaiser says,
42:54Peter,
42:54how much of
42:54Tavernier's goals
42:55have been
42:56penalties?
42:57I think it's
42:58something like
42:5869 was the
43:00figure that I
43:00had,
43:00I can't quote
43:02exactly,
43:02but I know
43:03that of the
43:03penalties that he
43:04has scored,
43:05he's up at
43:0681% conversion
43:08on penalties,
43:09it's not easy
43:10to score a
43:10penalty,
43:10but the fact
43:11of the matter
43:11is,
43:11Ruffy,
43:12I think he's
43:13up at 143
43:14or 148
43:16goals as a
43:17full-back,
43:17a long time
43:18before Rangers
43:18have a full-back
43:19who scores
43:20that amount
43:20of goals.
43:21Yeah,
43:21I mean he can
43:21hold his head
43:23high when he
43:24leaves,
43:24there's no doubt
43:24about that,
43:25obviously Tam's
43:26touched on that,
43:27I'm sure if
43:27he wanted to
43:29win more trophies
43:29there's no doubt
43:30that's what the
43:31fans remember.
43:32I was a wee bit
43:32surprised when
43:33we were announcing
43:34it,
43:34you know the
43:35why now,
43:36why not wait
43:37at the end
43:37of the season
43:38and do it,
43:38it seems a wee
43:39bit as if
43:41something was
43:41going on behind
43:42the scenes
43:43or something
43:43like that.
43:43Maybe it was
43:44going to get
43:44leaked,
43:45maybe it was
43:45going to come
43:46out anyway
43:46and he thought
43:47he'd get ahead
43:47of it and
43:48announce it
43:48himself.
43:49Well he goes
43:49on an interview
43:51and then says
43:51there's been
43:52no new contract,
43:53so obviously
43:54at that point
43:55you're starting
43:55to say to
43:56yourself he's
43:57in relatively
43:57few starts
43:59under Danny
44:00Roll,
44:00the writing's
44:01on the wall,
44:01I might as
44:02well say I'm
44:03going to be
44:03leaving,
44:04maybe does
44:05it act as
44:05an incentive?
44:06Alec Ray
44:07thought it was
44:07a distraction,
44:08I wonder what?
44:08I don't think
44:09so Peter.
44:09No?
44:10It puts him
44:11on a wee,
44:12no pressure
44:13in a 90
44:14minute game,
44:15you know,
44:15if he's
44:15playing and
44:16he does
44:17something wrong
44:17and he scores
44:19an own goal
44:19or something,
44:20it just puts
44:20added pressure
44:21on him going
44:22off,
44:22you're leaving,
44:23why don't
44:23you just
44:23leave now,
44:24that's the
44:25way some
44:25fans operate.
44:26Yeah,
44:26I think he'll
44:27get a lovely
44:28send off,
44:28I think he'll
44:28get a good
44:29send off,
44:30I think it'll
44:30be unbelievable
44:31if Rangers
44:32win the league
44:32and he's
44:33lifting that
44:33trophy,
44:34what a way
44:34to bow out
44:35for James
44:35Tavernier and
44:37in some
44:37quarters where
44:39some people
44:39don't fancy
44:40him,
44:40it's a perfect
44:40way to just
44:43give them the
44:43old Harvey
44:44Smiths,
44:45for people who
44:46are under 40
44:46who won't know
44:47what that is,
44:48you'll be able to
44:48look it up and
44:49you'll know exactly
44:49what I'm talking
44:50about,
44:51Tayside Derby,
44:52Dundee United
44:52against Dundee,
44:53it's that Tanner
44:53Rice,
44:54Jim Goodwin has
44:55already come out
44:55and said in a
44:56positive sense,
44:57he wants Dundee to
44:58be in the
44:59Premiership because
45:00it's great for
45:01the whole city,
45:01it comes alive,
45:03people who don't
45:04go up to that
45:05Derby don't
45:07understand hearts
45:08and heavens,
45:08certainly when
45:09you're people in
45:10the west of
45:10Scotland who
45:11are obsessed by
45:12Celtic and
45:13Rangers,
45:14I lived in
45:15Edinburgh and
45:15knew exactly what
45:16it was all
45:16about,
45:17I regularly went
45:18up to Dundee
45:18for the Derby
45:19and,
45:20the whole city,
45:21he knows it
45:21as well,
45:22the whole city's
45:23buzzing,
45:24Tam.
45:25Yeah,
45:25as I said,
45:26I was fortunate
45:27to play in it,
45:30after coming from
45:31Hibs,
45:31going to Dundee,
45:32the first fixture
45:33you're looking at
45:33is the Dundee
45:34Derby,
45:34wanting to
45:35experience it
45:35and it was
45:36brilliant,
45:37it was electric,
45:37played home and
45:38away,
45:39one at Dens Park,
45:39one at
45:40Tanadice and
45:40the atmosphere
45:41was incredible
45:41and it was
45:42just as feisty
45:44as the Edinburgh
45:45Derby,
45:45so,
45:46yeah,
45:46it's big for
45:47the city
45:47that both
45:48clubs are
45:48in the top
45:49flight
45:50and,
45:51listen,
45:51Jim Goodman
45:51for Dundee
45:52they want to
45:52finish top of
45:53the top six
45:54and for Dundee
45:55I think they
45:56probably need
45:56another win
45:57just to make
45:58sure that they
45:59keep away
45:59from trouble
46:00just one more
46:01yeah,
46:01just one more
46:02win I think
46:02they're five
46:02points clear
46:03of the play-off
46:04I think another
46:04win would
46:05secure their
46:05status
46:07and that's a
46:08successful season
46:09I think for
46:09Stephen Presley
46:10because when he
46:10first went in
46:11I think they
46:11were probably
46:12one of the
46:12favourites to
46:12get relegated
46:13so they've
46:14done pretty
46:15well this
46:15season
46:15and it's
46:18going to be
46:18a big game
46:18for both
46:19clubs
46:19yeah
46:21Dundee I
46:21think have
46:22received some
46:23really good
46:24praise
46:25because of the
46:25way he's gone
46:26about restructuring
46:27the side
46:28he's certainly
46:29putting them
46:29on a more
46:30sound footing
46:31at Ruffey
46:31he's won over
46:33the fans
46:33they certainly
46:34like the football
46:34I like the fact
46:35that he's playing
46:36with wingers
46:37and he probably
46:38if we're being
46:39honest about it
46:40will lose Luke
46:41Graham
46:42but over and
46:43above that
46:44maybe the odd
46:44one or two
46:45go back off
46:46the loan deals
46:47but I think he
46:48knows what he's
46:48doing
46:49Stephen Presley
46:50made a good
46:50impression
46:51he was very
46:51very honest
46:52right at the
46:52beginning
46:52you know
46:53when he went
46:53in there
46:54he said
46:54look
46:55this is a
46:56rebuild
46:56you know
46:56you have to
46:57hang in there
46:58you have to
46:58believe that
46:58the players
46:59are going to
47:00change things
47:02he was talking
47:02about 12
47:03players
47:04and I think
47:05he did
47:05eventually bring
47:0612 players
47:07in
47:07and a lot
47:08of them
47:08were good
47:09quality
47:09better quality
47:10than what
47:10they had
47:11and he had a
47:12good wee spell
47:12a good wee run
47:13there particularly
47:14against Rangers
47:14and Celtic
47:15and yeah
47:16he's right
47:17you need
47:17you need a
47:18Derby
47:18you need
47:19Dundee
47:20United
47:21Dundee
47:21to be at
47:22it with each
47:23other
47:23because
47:23like all
47:24the other
47:25Derby games
47:25they bring
47:26something to
47:27the table
47:28and winning
47:29and losing
47:30again is
47:30something you
47:31can brag on
47:32I was delighted
47:33to actually
47:33go up and do
47:34the one-to-one
47:34with him
47:35because it
47:35gave
47:36for some
47:37people
47:37it gives
47:38a wee
47:38insight
47:38into him
47:40that he's
47:42good fun
47:42Elvis
47:43you know
47:43yeah
47:45I said
47:46it's well
47:46documented
47:46I played
47:47against Elvis
47:47so many
47:48times
47:48and they're
47:48in my
47:48Derbys
47:49did you speak
47:50with him
47:50when you
47:51were in
47:51the Derby
47:52not really
47:53but I thought
47:54he was quite
47:54arrogant
47:55when I played
47:56against him
47:56and stuff
47:57and didn't
47:58really like him
47:58to be honest
47:59and then
48:00he signed
48:00me for
48:01Falkirk
48:01and I can't
48:02believe that
48:02phone call
48:03because we
48:03used to
48:03kick lumps
48:04at each
48:04other
48:05and give
48:05each other
48:06all sorts
48:06of abuse
48:07and then
48:07as a manager
48:08totally different
48:08I thought
48:09he was
48:09a great
48:10dry sense
48:11of humour
48:11very
48:12very
48:13talented
48:13coach
48:14knew what
48:15he was
48:15doing
48:15good speaker
48:16and no
48:17surprise
48:17that he's
48:18actually done
48:18well in
48:19management
48:19and then
48:19he's back
48:20at Dundee
48:20so I
48:21really like
48:21Elvis
48:21I didn't
48:22like
48:22playing
48:22against
48:23him
48:23but
48:23completely
48:24different
48:24character
48:24when you
48:25get to
48:25know him
48:25like
48:25your
48:26Scott
48:26Browns
48:27and your
48:27Barry
48:27Neil Lennons
48:29who people
48:30think
48:30don't like
48:31him
48:31and once
48:32you get
48:32to know
48:32them
48:33you find
48:33out
48:34they're
48:34decent
48:34guys
48:34prediction
48:35to each
48:382-1
48:39Dundee
48:39United
48:39oh
48:402-1
48:40Dundee
48:41United
48:41I'm going
48:42to go a
48:42draw as
48:42well
48:43I think
48:43it'll be
48:431-1
48:45Aberdeen
48:45against
48:46Kilmarnock
48:48the game
48:49has got so
48:49much at
48:50stake
48:50this could
48:51be a
48:51defining
48:51moment
48:52here
48:52for
48:52Aberdeen
48:53Stephen
48:54Robinson
48:54the
48:55Dons
48:55boss
48:56has said
48:56just
48:57crucial
48:57for
48:58the
48:58Dons
48:59to get
48:59a win
49:00he's
49:00saying
49:01it's
49:01correct
49:01if
49:02we
49:02manage
49:02to
49:02get
49:02the
49:03three
49:03points
49:03then
49:04it
49:04would
49:04ease
49:05the
49:05pressure
49:05a little
49:05bit
49:05it
49:06certainly
49:06doesn't
49:07confirm
49:07that
49:07we're
49:07safe
49:07but
49:08it
49:08makes
49:08it
49:08difficult
49:08for
49:09other
49:09teams
49:09to
49:09catch
49:10us
49:10so
49:10it's
49:11a
49:11huge
49:11game
49:12it
49:12was
49:12a
49:13huge
49:13game
49:13against
49:13Hibs
49:14and
49:14we
49:14had
49:15a
49:15fantastic
49:15back
49:1618,500
49:17in the
49:18stadium
49:18who were
49:19all right
49:19behind the
49:19team
49:20and what
49:20a difference
49:21that makes
49:21and the
49:22players
49:22respond to
49:23that
49:23so we
49:24realise how
49:24big a
49:24game it
49:25is
49:25we want
49:25to embrace
49:26the game
49:26when you
49:27play for
49:27Aberdeen
49:27Football Club
49:28you play
49:28under
49:28pressure
49:29it's the
49:30wrong end
49:30of pressure
49:30at this
49:31moment in
49:31time but
49:31you have
49:31to deal
49:32with that
49:32and as
49:33you say
49:33the outcome
49:34would give
49:35us a bit
49:35of breathing
49:35space
49:37suddenly he's
49:37managed to
49:38get the
49:38team
49:38together
49:39he's
49:39certainly
49:40tried to
49:41foster a
49:42team
49:42spirit
49:44and he's
49:44got a
49:45crucial
49:45first win
49:46and now
49:47he's looking
49:47to build
49:48on that
49:48I think
49:50obviously we
49:50know the
49:50summer is
49:51where he'll
49:51have a real
49:52impression on
49:52the Dons
49:53but I think
49:54they'll be
49:54good enough
49:55Robbie
49:55what do you
49:55think?
49:56Yeah I
49:56think so as
49:56well I
49:57think a new
49:57manager getting
49:58in there
49:58a new voice
49:59new training
50:01people start
50:02looking forward
50:02to getting in
50:03in the morning
50:03it was very
50:04evident when he
50:05went there
50:05he thought the
50:06team spirit
50:07wasn't the way
50:07it should be
50:09people are in
50:10wee cliques
50:10here and you
50:11don't want that
50:11kind of thing
50:12you want everybody
50:12fighting for each
50:14other on the
50:14park
50:15I've always
50:16said Aberdeen
50:17you know
50:18it's another
50:18team you need
50:20to be in the
50:20premiership
50:21you know
50:21because the
50:22support is
50:22absolutely
50:23fantastic
50:23the year that
50:25they've had
50:26is horrendous
50:26they're still
50:27hung in there
50:28they go to
50:29away grounds
50:31they pay their
50:31money they help
50:32the other clubs
50:33so if you're
50:34looking at the
50:35two teams
50:35I'm nothing
50:36against Colmarnock
50:37but if I was
50:38looking at the
50:38two teams
50:39Aberdeen or
50:40the team
50:40I'd want to
50:41stay in the
50:41premiership
50:41is there a
50:43specific team
50:44you can think
50:44of through your
50:45history or a
50:45specific season
50:46where you
50:46absolutely love
50:47going into work
50:48and you just
50:48thought this is
50:49great
50:49I don't have a
50:50problem with
50:51any of the
50:51team
50:52I was at
50:52you know
50:53I think the
50:53guys that I
50:54had in
50:54at Partick
50:55Thistle
50:56and at
50:56Hibs
50:57and then
50:57obviously
50:58the latter
50:58at Celtic
50:59there was a
50:59great bunch
51:00it was great
51:01going in in
51:01the morning
51:02the banner
51:04is unbelievable
51:05even if you're
51:06on the end
51:07it is funny
51:08but I don't
51:09know if things
51:09have changed
51:10we're talking
51:1040 years ago
51:12I don't know
51:12if things have
51:13changed now
51:14you don't have
51:14the same
51:14do you want
51:15to go out
51:15and have a
51:16pint or something
51:16like that
51:17or do you
51:17want to go
51:17up and
51:18of course
51:18it's the
51:19same
51:19but just do
51:20it in a
51:20bit more
51:21clandestine
51:21way
51:23back then
51:24there was
51:24no phones
51:25there was
51:25no
51:27cameras
51:27or then
51:27like that
51:28you could
51:28well they
51:28just say
51:29listen
51:29if you fancy
51:30a night out
51:30don't take
51:30your phone
51:32I'm not
51:33talking about
51:33nights out
51:33I'm talking
51:35about
51:35after training
51:36and maybe
51:36a Tuesday
51:36afternoon
51:37before we
51:39jumped in
51:40the train
51:40and went
51:40back to
51:41Glasgow
51:41or whatever
51:42so it
51:43was more
51:43social
51:44I go home
51:45again
51:45you know
51:46home
51:46but I mean
51:47you used
51:47to go
51:48to the
51:49game
51:49you used
51:50to travel
51:52I don't
51:52know if
51:53you did
51:53but the
51:54Hibs boys
51:55that stayed
51:55in Glasgow
51:55they used
51:56to travel
51:56through
51:56like four
51:57or five
51:57in a car
51:58and the
51:58carry on
51:59in the
51:59car
51:59was just
52:00it was
52:01unbelievable
52:01before you
52:02go to the
52:03actual
52:03stadium
52:03that's the
52:04thing I
52:05missed most
52:05about football
52:06it wasn't
52:06it really
52:07because I
52:08think when
52:08you retire
52:09I think your
52:10body's telling
52:11you right
52:11okay it's
52:12enough's
52:12enough
52:12you can't
52:13move
52:14anymore
52:14it's time
52:15to chuck
52:15it
52:15but then
52:15once you
52:16do chuck
52:17it
52:18it's
52:18grin
52:19every morning
52:19as Ruffy
52:19says
52:20the dressing
52:21room
52:21the banter
52:22being on
52:23the receive
52:23and then
52:23giving it
52:24out
52:24does it feel
52:25a bit like
52:25cold turkey
52:26for you
52:26it does
52:27Peter
52:27I've really
52:28struggled
52:28with it
52:28I would say
52:29a lot of
52:29football players
52:30who retire
52:30the biggest
52:31thing they
52:32struggle with
52:32is a loneliness
52:33type of thing
52:34it's just
52:34missing that
52:35dressing room
52:35and that
52:36team mentality
52:38where you're
52:39all in it
52:40together
52:41and suddenly
52:42that's gone
52:42and then you're
52:43on your own
52:44so I'd say
52:44that would be
52:47the biggest
52:48thing about
52:48retiring is
52:49missing the
52:50boys in the
52:50dressing room
52:51okay
52:51Aberdeen
52:52Kilmarnock
52:53Neil McCann
52:53reckons the
52:55playoff
52:56position
52:56will go right
52:57down to the
52:58final day
52:58do you share
52:59that view
52:59yeah I think
52:59about it
53:00they may
53:00St Mirren
53:00I think
53:01Dundee and
53:02Aberdeen will
53:02pull away
53:02I fancy
53:03Aberdeen to
53:03beat Kilmarnock
53:04prediction on that
53:052-0 to Aberdeen
53:072-0 to Aberdeen
53:08share your view
53:09it's a 2-0
53:10all round
53:11St Mirren
53:12against Livingston
53:12Craig McLeish
53:14says the
53:14semi-final
53:15exposed why
53:16the Saints
53:17are in the
53:17playoff
53:18just that
53:19inability to
53:21defend
53:21going forward
53:22at times
53:23they've been
53:23good but
53:24the back end
53:25has been a
53:25problem
53:26it's amazing
53:27you know
53:27okay they get
53:28thumped 6-2
53:29at the end of
53:30the day but
53:31if that game
53:32was over 90
53:32minutes
53:33a good point
53:35it's two each
53:36yeah
53:36you know it's
53:37positive you know
53:38if it would be
53:38a 90 minute game
53:39you'd be going
53:40away from that
53:41game going
53:41right that's us
53:42we're back
53:43you know we've
53:44just taken
53:44points off
53:46Celtic so
53:46let's fire in
53:48I still think
53:50St Mirren are a
53:51big strong side
53:51and I think
53:52they'll know
53:53I think the
53:55thing we're
53:55talking about
53:56Aberdeen that
53:56they don't have
53:57in the dressing
53:58room I think
53:59St Mirren have
53:59got it
53:59I think they've
54:00got a group
54:01in there
54:02who want to
54:03do well for
54:04the club
54:04and the
54:05supporters
54:05I've bought
54:06into it as
54:06well
54:06do you think
54:06he'll become
54:07the manager
54:08no
54:09no
54:10you think
54:10they'll look
54:11elsewhere
54:11yeah I think
54:12there'll be
54:12enough people
54:13out there
54:13throwing their
54:13hat in
54:14as there
54:15usually is
54:15I don't know
54:16who the
54:16names will be
54:17but there
54:18certainly is a
54:18lot of people
54:19at a job
54:19I think the
54:21last five games
54:22are important
54:23for him
54:23and Stuart
54:24Taylor
54:25I know Craig
54:26well and
54:27obviously I'm
54:27really good
54:28pals with Stuart
54:28I hope they
54:29go and get
54:29results and
54:29get the job
54:30full time
54:31so I'll say
54:32yeah
54:32I think
54:32they will
54:33be there
54:33this season
54:33I think
54:33they'll get
54:34a few
54:34results
54:34I think
54:35the mere
54:35fact that
54:35Tam
54:36is Stuart's
54:37pal
54:38tells you
54:38they're not
54:39going to get
54:39the job
54:40Jonah
54:40well they'll
54:41have to
54:41wait next
54:42year
54:42and the
54:43Samaritan
54:43fans will
54:43be panicking
54:44already
54:44how long
54:45is he going
54:45to be there
54:46at the
54:46start of
54:46season
54:48anybody
54:48that's related
54:49to Tam
54:49in any
54:50capacity
54:51usually has
54:52a strong
54:52period
54:53of bad
54:54luck
54:55but
54:56there's our
54:57predictions
54:57give us your
54:58predictions for it
54:59it's going to be
54:59fantastic
55:00Saturday and
55:01Sunday
55:01I hope it's
55:01sunny Tam
55:06by the way
55:07I did say
55:08to Jack
55:08Iredale
55:09if you get a
55:10chance
55:10watch the
55:10Jack Iredale
55:11interview
55:11because
55:12for anybody
55:13who's maybe
55:14suffering from
55:15type 1
55:15diabetes
55:16it really is
55:17a good
55:17listen
55:18and an
55:18insight
55:19into how
55:19it's
55:20changed his
55:20life
55:21this new
55:21bit of
55:21technology
55:22and over
55:23and above
55:23that
55:23he'll be
55:24wearing it
55:24in the
55:25game
55:25as well
55:25which is
55:26incredible
55:27yeah
55:28it's
55:29transformed
55:30his life
55:31so
55:32it's well
55:32worth
55:33having a
55:33look at
55:34good lad
55:35really enjoyed
55:35his company
