00:00Police say they have a suspect in the disappearance of Gus LeMond and that suspect is a person
00:07who lived at the Outback property.
00:09The four year old was reported missing from a sheep station south of Yunta about 300 kilometres
00:14northeast of Adelaide last September.
00:18Police say they had three lines of inquiry.
00:20Did Gus wander off?
00:21Was he abducted?
00:22Or was someone known to Gus involved?
00:25Today police have said they have explored all options and it's unlikely Gus wandered off
00:30or was abducted.
00:32They say the family was cooperating with police but a person known to Gus, who police wouldn't
00:37name, has stopped cooperating and is now a suspect.
00:41Major crimes say the parents are not suspects.
00:45Gus lived at the property with his mum, grandparents and siblings.
00:49Police say the change occurred mid-January when inconsistencies started appearing in timelines
00:54from family members.
00:56They've since seized vehicles and electronic devices.
01:00No arrests have been made but police say they don't believe Gus is alive.
01:03The person who has withdrawn their cooperation is now considered a suspect in the disappearance
01:11of Gus.
01:12I do want to stress however that Gus's parents are not suspects in his disappearance.
01:21Police say they'll continue to investigate until they reach an outcome.
