00:01The ABC understands Gus's grandmother, 75-year-old Josie Murray, has been charged with firearm
00:08offences and was arrested yesterday.
00:10Josie Murray was taken to nearby Peterborough Police Station, where the 75-year-old was
00:14given bail.
00:15Now despite these charges, SA Police say that they are not related to the disappearance.
00:20It follows a renewed search at the remote outback property south of Yanta in South Australia's
00:26remote Mid-North.
00:27Now viewers may remember that earlier this month police held a press conference in which
00:31they said there was a suspect living on the property but were quick to rule out the parents
00:35declaring the incident a major crime and stating that there was no evidence of an abduction or
00:41that Gus simply wandered off.
00:43Now in response to this, Gus's grandparents released a statement the following day saying
00:47that they fully cooperated with the investigation and were absolutely devastated by the police
00:53assertion that they'd withdrawn cooperation and denied any wrongdoing.
00:57In terms of what happens in the search today, it's quite unclear at this stage what that'll
01:01exactly look like.
01:02Yesterday the focus of the search was around the homestead.
01:05Today the focus appears to be, we're told, potentially elsewhere outside of that homestead and outside
01:10of the property in general.
01:11Now SA police released a statement yesterday afternoon saying that inquiries are ongoing
01:17and I quote, it's anticipated the task force horizon will remain in the area and that's
01:22expected to be for at least today.
01:24In that same statement, police said that search updates will be provided as they progress.
