Transcript
00:00Tide is sponsoring all of our guests that sit with us here on Radio Row,
00:03and we are pleased to be joined right now, thanks to Tide.
00:06It's got to be clean.
00:07It's got to be Tide, by former Texans long snapper,
00:10current San Francisco 49ers long snapper,
00:13and just a great friend of the station and the show.
00:16And honestly, one of the only men with the gonads to show up at,
00:19what time is it now locally?
00:207 o'clock.
00:217 o'clock a.m.
00:217 o'clock.
00:22Yeah.
00:22Thank you for that.
00:23Yeah, he's a professional.
00:24All professionals.
00:26When we were coordinating that with John Weeks, of course,
00:28who was our guest here, when you and I were texting about this,
00:31when I told you, you sure you want to do this live?
00:34Because Seth and I are on from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.,
00:36and your response was?
00:38I got two kids, man.
00:39I'll be up.
00:40I'll be up.
00:42So you're here.
00:43So you've been – so what was it like going into –
00:46after being in the same place forever and ever and ever
00:49and being very comfortable in it, knowing everybody,
00:52you know, like you are a vet vet in the NFL.
00:55Right.
00:55Yeah, like you've been around forever,
00:58and yet you walk into a brand-new building, new coaches, new players.
01:02Yeah, the nerves were rolling.
01:03I was nervous.
01:04I was real nervous to go into a new, you know, facility
01:07and just a new locker room and new people.
01:09But, you know, I think one thing that the locker room did well
01:12and what those vets do really well is they're very welcoming.
01:15Yeah.
01:16And as soon as I signed, Fred and George reached out to me
01:19and welcomed me right away.
01:20And they made it a – they make it a very welcoming locker room.
01:23So it was actually a lot easier than I expected.
01:25But I had those first day of school jitters.
01:27My heart was pounding.
01:28I didn't know what to expect.
01:29Yeah.
01:30Did it cut you by surprise?
01:31It did.
01:31Yeah.
01:32You know, and I'm sitting here.
01:33I'm like, surely there's someone in this locker room
01:35I've run into at one point.
01:37It turned out to be Jay Bird, the old equipment guy.
01:39Oh, yeah.
01:40Jay Bird.
01:40Jay Bird's over here.
01:41So I was like, oh, Jay, what's up, dude?
01:42So it was great to see Jay again.
01:45But, yeah, it was a true, like, brand-new experience.
01:48It reminded me of my early days growing up.
01:50My dad was a military guy, so we used to change schools all the time.
01:54And you just kind of have to go into that new class, introduce yourself,
01:56and just start talking.
01:57So those old skills, I'll say, like social skills.
02:00Oh, yeah.
02:01From being, you know, a military brat.
02:03Oh, yeah.
02:03Those were in full effect with you coming here.
02:05Yeah, absolutely.
02:06You had that little fear that you're going to walk into the cafeteria
02:09and people are going to, like, turn their backs to you or something.
02:11Well, it's not more that.
02:12It's not more that.
02:14It's more like who let the random stranger off the street into the facility?
02:17Why is this guy here?
02:18Who is he?
02:19So, but, no, it was great, man.
02:24That whole locker room is amazing, and I was really privileged to be there.
02:28Was it hard?
02:30Tell me if you had this experience.
02:31Because I was only – the first team I was on, I was on for five years,
02:33which is, like, sounds like three breaths of air for you.
02:36So, but the first year I was on a different team,
02:41sometimes I would watch the Jaguars,
02:43and sometimes I'd be on the sideline as a Texans player playing the Jaguars,
02:46and I'd see a guy that I know make a play,
02:49and I almost jumped up in excitement.
02:51I'm like, oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
02:54Did you have that experience at all with Texans?
02:56You know what?
02:56I did.
02:57It was hard, and I'll be honest with you guys.
02:59I don't think I watched a single Texans game until I knew we had to play them
03:02that week.
03:03I knew it was going to be a tough week.
03:04So, I did my best to try to distance myself because I have so much love
03:07for everybody over there still.
03:09I love all those guys in that locker room.
03:10So, it was definitely hard to watch.
03:11What was it like coming back and playing that game in NRG Stadium
03:15that specific day we ate?
03:17That was really hard.
03:18I had to do a lot of mental gymnastics to really prepare myself for that.
03:21You know, just all the relationships you have with everybody.
03:24I had to figure out the best way to go embrace those relationships
03:27but still make sure I'm focused on the game as much as possible.
03:30And, you know, looking back on the season now, I don't know if I really remember
03:33that game too much that day.
03:35I remember I had a plan.
03:36I stuck to the plan, and the next thing I remember we're on the plane out of there.
03:40Had you ever even been in the visitor's locker room before?
03:42A couple appearances maybe, you know, getting ready, doing some community stuff.
03:46I think I was like, oh, this is the locker room I was in, you know.
03:49But, no, I had no idea where the locker room was if I was being honest.
03:52So, you had to put extra care into just compartmentalizing that week.
03:56Yeah, I mean, for me, it wasn't just any other game, right?
04:02This was the organization that gave me my first opportunity to watch me grow up.
04:07And I'm incredibly thankful for the McNairs and everything they've done for me in my life,
04:12you know, helping me with my family and everything, and just bringing and letting me live my dream.
04:16So, you know, I knew that that game, as much as I wanted to tell myself,
04:19it's going to be any other game it wasn't going to be.
04:21And especially because I'm – it's not that I just don't know or didn't know the team and everything.
04:28I knew security people and lunch people.
04:31And, you know, so walking in, I'm just seeing everybody.
04:33So, that was the thing I tried to focus on.
04:36And then you probably had to deal with more people just shouting your name from the stands and everything.
04:40I got a lot of nice salutes from a lot of fans, which I appreciate it.
04:44I had a lot of people.
04:45I try not to focus on fans, but when I did hear my name, I tried to at least acknowledge.
04:49In case you were worried about it, yeah, there wasn't, like, a whole huge group of Texans fans here
04:55that were like, oh, he can go die.
04:56I don't know, you know, screw him anyway.
04:59I never liked him.
05:00There's always a someone.
05:01Especially when you're the Walter Payton man of the year.
05:03I really hated him that year.
05:05Weeks, you turncoat.
05:06Never liked you.
05:08John Weeks, former Texans, long snapper, current San Francisco 49er.
05:13We're here in his new hometown here in San Francisco on Radio Rove, brought to you by La Cour 43.
05:19Getting us here.
05:20So, the number is 244 games played for the Texans, right?
05:24244 for the Texans.
05:25The most ever by any Houston Texan.
05:28I'm curious at what point during your run, and you were there 15 years, played every game,
05:33at what point do you start looking at stuff like that?
05:37At what point do you realize, like, hey, man, I've been doing this a number of years.
05:40My goal is to do this for X amount.
05:41I didn't even know if you were goal setting.
05:43I mean, you're still playing, so you may be goal setting.
05:45I guess this is a broader question, but specifically the Texans part of it, because you're an historical
05:51figure in that you played the most amount of games for the Texans.
05:54At what point did that become a thing for you that this might happen?
05:57You're just talking about the games?
05:58Yeah, just the games, like your longevity with the team.
06:00Oh, you know, I never focused on it.
06:02My goal was always, as a long snapper, I feel like we're looked at as, how dependable are you, right?
06:08And they always just say, what is it, the dependability, or availability is the best dependability, right?
06:13Yeah.
06:14So my job, I need to be available for my guys.
06:17As long as I feel like I'm the best person available for the job, I need to be available for them.
06:20Best ability is availability.
06:22Is that it?
06:22Yeah.
06:23And that's what I just focused on.
06:24Yeah.
06:25Yeah, yeah.
06:26That was it.
06:26That's what I focused on.
06:27And I don't know if I ever.
06:29Did you even realize that you were.
06:31It started, you know, they did such an amazing thing for me when I reached my 200th game,
06:35and that's when I kind of was like, oh, this is great.
06:37Yeah, that's what I'm looking at.
06:38And Amanda had done some amazing things for me when I think I might have passed Andre for most games played as a Texan,
06:44and she did some awesome stuff for me.
06:46But, you know, the Texans celebrated me, and they did an amazing job of what they did for me when I got to 200.
06:53And that's when I really started to kind of click, like, oh, I'm still going.
06:56This is pretty cool.
06:57Well, what year was it?
06:57Was it like 2021 or 22 where you came back to training camp and you were all chiseled?
07:01I tried to come back chiseled every training camp knowing that that would go really fast as soon as I got done training.
07:10But you made it.
07:11Did you make a big change like a few years ago that stuck?
07:16I think what happened was you saw I had spoken to Frank.
07:21Frank had just gotten hired as our coach.
07:22And I'd ask Frank, you know, like, hey, listen, I'm not everybody's cup of tea.
07:26I'm shorter than most snappers in the league.
07:29You know, what are you looking for in your snapper?
07:31And Frank wanted kind of a leaner, athletic, more, like, downhill coverage type guy.
07:38And I was like, okay, great.
07:39So that's what I focused on on the offseason and got in really good shape doing it.
07:43Yeah.
07:44That would be the timing when Frank came in there.
07:48John Weeks, former Texans long snapper, joining us here on Radio Row in San Francisco.
07:54Looking back on your Texans years, do you have a particular time that was a favorite time of yours?
07:58Or are you looking back at all of them?
08:00I'm obviously looking back at all of them fondly.
08:01It was all so great.
08:05Favorite game or a favorite game?
08:07You got it here in 2010.
08:08Yeah.
08:082011 was the first year where I felt like, okay, we're a legitimate franchise now.
08:15So you got to see both sides of it, of the struggle of 2010.
08:18But then 2011, everything just kind of flipped.
08:20But I feel like the 2010 team gets – I feel like we lost four or five games in the last minute there.
08:25Yeah.
08:26I feel like we were just right there.
08:27We just couldn't get through it yet.
08:29Yeah.
08:29They've been competitive for, you know, since Kubiak got here.
08:33But 2011 was the first time where it just all of a sudden, oh, these guys are a legitimate threat.
08:39People – there was a certain legitimacy to them.
08:41Yeah.
08:41Yeah, 11 and 12 were hard because 11 and 12, those teams in that locker room were so awesome.
08:46That was a great group of guys.
08:47And I think everyone in those locker rooms for those two years were like, we're getting one this year.
08:50Yeah.
08:51We're getting one at some point.
08:52With this group, we're going to go get one.
08:53Yeah.
08:54Yeah.
08:54Just unfortunate injuries.
08:56Yep.
08:56So, I don't know how many people listening know your story about getting – I mean, you were ready to be a fireman.
09:03Ready to be a fireman, yeah.
09:04So, what was the – for those who haven't heard the story, what was the connection that got you in the door – you know, that got you – at least got a look from the Texans?
09:13Yeah.
09:13So, for me, coming out of college in 07, they hadn't changed the rule yet.
09:18And I think that was a big thing.
09:19So, Stan Kwan, he was a former coordinator here, actually.
09:22He brought me to Detroit for rookie minicamp and just kind of told me the same thing.
09:26You know, you're a little small for the head over – you know, getting bull rushed right over the top on field goals.
09:30You're talking to changing the rules.
09:31Yeah.
09:32Where they took some of the – you weren't allowed to bully the – you weren't allowed to physically rub up the loss ever.
09:37Yeah.
09:37So, up until 2010, you could put someone directly over the center and just push and just kill them.
09:41We beat the crap out of them.
09:42And, you know, it was just – it was just – they just – you know, they didn't think I'd hold up.
09:48Yeah.
09:48And then, in 2010, they changed that rule, and Coach Kwan had called me and said, hey, I think you can get in now.
09:53Because they loved your skills, obviously.
09:55Yeah.
09:55So, I had to go find a specialist combine, which was snappers, punters, kickers only.
09:59I went and performed at that.
10:01Had a quick workout after the draft.
10:03Had a bunch of workouts line up.
10:05Houston was actually my last workout I was supposed to go to.
10:08And then they jumped everybody and never left.
10:10Where were you in the process of becoming a fireman at that point?
10:13Just through all the hiring processes.
10:15Yeah.
10:15Yeah, all the certifications.
10:16So, Phoenix is different.
10:17You had to have your EMT certification.
10:19You had to have your hazmat certification.
10:21You had your fire one or two classes.
10:22So, I was going through the process of getting all that stuff.
10:25I was going through the process of being hired.
10:27Unfortunately, they were kind of in – I'm not going to say hiring freeze, but they were hiring like one or two cadets per month.
10:34So, it was hard to get on.
10:35So, I was on a waiting list just kind of waiting to get hired on.
10:37So, what happened?
10:38Did you have to, like, make an actual phone call to somebody in the department and say, like, hey, I got to pull myself out to it?
10:44It's such a tight little – everyone is so tight and there's just word of mouth.
10:47So, I remember being in my EMT class and the frustrating thing.
10:50And you remember Jomar, right?
10:51You guys both remember Jomar?
10:52Yeah, yeah, yeah.
10:53Jomar had signed me.
10:55And –
10:55Jomar Siano.
10:56Jomar Siano.
10:57I apologize.
10:58Yeah, Jomar Siano.
10:58I don't – he had signed me and he asked me if I needed to do anything back home.
11:02And I said, you know, I'm like eight hours from getting my EMT certification.
11:07I just knocked that out real quick just in case this doesn't work out.
11:11I'm certified.
11:11I can go jump.
11:12And he's like, no, show up.
11:14Miss it.
11:14I was like, God dang.
11:15Okay.
11:16So, I had to miss those eight hours.
11:18And with the EMT class, it was all about your time.
11:20You had to have a specific amount of hours to get that.
11:22Did you ever go back and complete it?
11:24I never did.
11:25No, no, no.
11:25So, as soon as I missed those eight hours, I had to start all back over.
11:31So, you know, fortunately, I haven't had to go back and get it yet
11:35because I've been hanging out with you guys for a long time.
11:37Are you like me in that any time that you've ever been close to maybe being
11:42in a first aid type situation, you realize, I don't remember a damn thing?
11:45Absolutely.
11:46Yeah.
11:47There's a long checklist that I've gotten hit in the head way too many times
11:50to remember the checklist that I could –
11:52It's like looking around like, gosh, surely there's somebody here
11:55that actually remembers what to do.
11:57There's that split second where I'm like, I think I used to be able to do that.
12:00I don't know if I can do that right now, you know?
12:02So, I back off real quick.
12:03That is great.
12:04John Weeks, former Texans long snapper, joining us here on Radio Row.
12:08Out of training camp, it's always fun to watch the different factions go off
12:13and do their thing, position groups and whatnot.
12:15And obviously there's always that three-headed monster of the long snapper,
12:20the punter, and the kicker.
12:22And then occasionally there will be some interloper that they bring in to, you know,
12:26to compete at one of those.
12:27Oh, yeah.
12:27But more often than not, it's you three guys.
12:30What's that bond like between – you know, I guess the most recent one for you
12:34would have been you, Kaimi, and Tommy Townsend.
12:36Yeah, it's a brotherly bond.
12:38I mean, you have to be.
12:39It has to be that tight.
12:40You know, we all rely and depend on each other to do our jobs
12:42and to make sure we all perform at the highest ability we can.
12:47So, it's super brother bond, and it's awesome.
12:49If we're going to speak in generalities here,
12:50and I'm genuinely not trying to dig into any various times in Texans history,
12:54when there's an issue with a kicker, like when a steady kicker is all of a sudden –
12:58It's always the snapper's fault.
12:59Is it?
13:00Is it?
13:01Behind the scenes.
13:02How often is it, though?
13:03Like, what percentage of the time is it actually the kicker versus the holder?
13:06No, see, and I think that's why the bond is so important
13:09and you have to have that brotherly bond because if you really look at it,
13:12especially for the kicker, I think no one hurts more for a kicker when he misses
13:17than his snapper and his punter because we know how much heat he catches for that, right?
13:22Yeah.
13:22And our job is to just try to make the operation as perfect as possible.
13:27And, you know, they just catch so much heat.
13:31But I always try to, like, go back to the operation
13:33because there are times I've thrown a bad ball, Tommy saved me,
13:36Emy hit a great kick.
13:37Maybe there's some times that the hold was a little off, but I threw a good ball,
13:41Emy, you know, and then maybe there's some times where me and Tommy were –
13:44but Emy makes – you know, so it's just all that.
13:46I feel like a pick group almost.
13:47It's all that kind of – yeah, you know, it's a great way to describe it.
13:49It's kind of just all like you try and you strive so hard for it to be
13:53as consistently perfect as it can be.
13:55So do you –
13:56Because so much guy gets so much focus on it.
13:58So I imagine the three of you are on a group text together, whoever it is,
14:01the three of you, and then afterwards who is the most likely to go on there
14:04and apologize for something.
14:06Oh, it's just who can blame each other.
14:08Oh, okay.
14:08All right.
14:09So there's no apology.
14:11No, I think one of the great things working with Tommy,
14:13one of the great things working with Emy,
14:15and at least I try to do the same for myself,
14:18is we all took accountability for everything.
14:20Yeah.
14:20You know, I'll always tell Tommy if I felt the laces were a quarter turn
14:24or I didn't give him a good ball, like, dude, I'm real sorry.
14:27You know, I appreciate you getting me out of the jam, right?
14:28I don't know this stuff either, that it's that fine-tuned.
14:31Yeah, you know, it's a science.
14:33It's a fine science, right?
14:34The kicker gets all the blame.
14:35Yeah, and that's the toughest part is it's never the full operation.
14:39It's always focused on one guy.
14:41But you guys have such a solid guy in that spot that, you know,
14:45Emy's one of the best, if not the best.
14:48I wanted to ask you about that.
14:49Yeah, I mean, he's sad.
14:50The Steelers game, like, he was probably – he made the circle of swarm, didn't he?
14:54He did because he kicked an outdoor – you know, he had had some struggles.
14:57It's a hard place to kick, yeah.
14:58And he had had some struggles outdoors, more so than indoors,
15:01and he kicked a 51-yarder in that playoff game against the Steelers.
15:04Yeah, he smashed a great kick.
15:05He did.
15:06And so I was going to ask you about Emy.
15:08I mean, he's obviously had a great career.
15:10The last couple of years, and you were still in Houston for some of it,
15:14I mean, he's turned – the league has kind of come this way,
15:16but Emy's been right there where he's been a machine from 50 yards plus.
15:20Yeah, 100%.
15:20Yeah.
15:21How proud are you of him?
15:22No, incredibly.
15:23I think Emy is one of the top two or three kickers in the NFL, you know,
15:25and I think you can make an easy argument that he's the best kicker in the NFL.
15:29I'm so proud of him and everything that he's accomplished.
15:31I loved watching him step into that leadership role and kind of taking charge
15:34and just going out and doing what he does, and that's just, you know,
15:38make kicks and kind of be a silent killer, you know,
15:42because there's not a lot of emotion.
15:44I actually didn't know that you mentioned it.
15:45That Pittsburgh kick was one of the rare kicks where I saw him got real juiced up.
15:49Oh, yeah.
15:50Obviously understanding how big the kick was, but the elements and stuff too,
15:53it was awesome to see.
15:54I like it we don't have to explain the circle of the storm to Jeff.
15:57Yeah, he knows about the circle of the storm.
15:58He knows what it is.
15:59And then shout out to, you know, Tommy and the young guy.
16:01They did a fantastic job for him this year.
16:03So, like I said, it's a whole unit thing, and it's really cool.
16:06And I always said that, you know, I was privileged to be selected to go,
16:09but my biggest joys for Pro Bowls are all pros are watching my kickers
16:13and my punters get those nods because that's cool for you.
16:16This was your second Pro Bowl, right?
16:18This was my second, yeah.
16:19Was the first one you played pre the Pro Bowl games?
16:23Was it an actual game that you played in?
16:23Yeah, first one was fortunate.
16:25It was the last one in Hawaii.
16:27Oh, okay.
16:28Yeah, so it was 15.
16:29It was the last one where we did the Hawaii.
16:30We played the game.
16:31We did the draft.
16:32We did all that fun.
16:33Did you and your family come stay in the hotel and everything?
16:36Or are you just staying?
16:36Down here?
16:36Oh, yeah.
16:38You're taking in the whole experience.
16:38My girls love a good hotel experience.
16:41They heard that they could stay in a hotel.
16:43They were really excited.
16:43Well, plus they probably got all kinds of events for the kids
16:46so you and the wife can enjoy some time together and everything.
16:49You know, we had to bring Noni in from Arizona to help with the kiddos.
16:52But my girls love a good hotel experience, so they're having a blast.
16:56They're missing school, too, which is crazy.
16:58How far away is your house in San Francisco from here?
17:00So we're about an hour and 20 minutes away.
17:02Oh, yeah.
17:02You've got to go to the hotel.
17:03So the facility is about 45, 50 minutes standing out in Santa Clara, the stadium.
17:09Our facility is kind of just like energy.
17:12It's just all based right there.
17:14Yeah, we've got that substation with all the EMFs.
17:16How are you doing that?
17:17I was waiting.
17:17I forgot.
17:18That's like the most popular question.
17:20The fact that you don't have research on it freaks me out right now.
17:23But I was just waiting for the EMF.
17:24I've been getting prepped for the EMF question.
17:27I'm just locked in on this.
17:27Okay, so for those of you who don't know, there's like an electrical substation next to the facility.
17:31And there is.
17:32And it's close.
17:32I mean, you guys can see.
17:35I mean, it's from here.
17:37We have like just your basic street, and then it's right there.
17:40So there's a theory that one of the reasons the 49ers have a high rate of injuries over the past five years is because they're getting all these EMFs from that substation.
17:48Yeah.
17:48How are you feeling about it right now?
17:51You're giving a no comment.
17:52You spent all that time preparing to give us a no comment.
17:54I know.
17:54It's such a tricky question.
17:55Okay, here's my super.
17:57Here's my B.O.B. answer for it.
18:01I'm new to the team.
18:02Yeah.
18:03Just trying to be a good teammate.
18:05I feel great.
18:06But, no, I mean, in all honesty here, this is my honest opinion.
18:10Like I said, I'm new to the team.
18:12I'm pretty healthy.
18:14Yeah.
18:14But you have so many guys in that locker room that are absolute professionals that day in and day out do everything they can to take care of their body.
18:20And you know better than anybody, right, just how much the league now stresses taking care of your body, sleep, nutrition, all that kind of stuff.
18:28I think at the end of the day with this substation thing, guys just want to know is there something that needs to be looked into?
18:34Because if there is, let's do it.
18:35Yeah.
18:36And then if there's not, there's not.
18:38And we won't worry about it.
18:39But if there is something that's like, listen, even this little amount of trace of EMF is deteriorating.
18:46These guys put so much time and money into their bodies that they want to address.
18:50What is it?
18:50You know what?
18:51It's a tough thing when it comes to sports and especially at the highest level.
18:56You're talking about all these little different things on the margin affect a professional athlete a lot more than it does a population of 5,000 people where you're measuring like the kind of big things and everything.
19:08So, yeah, you can look to the science all you want, but there's not really a whole lot of studies done of people competing against other world-class athletes where a 1% difference actually matters.
19:21Agreed.
19:21Yeah.
19:22Who knows?
19:22And that's what I'm saying.
19:23I think right now the guys just want the information.
19:26Yeah.
19:26Like, is it actually a problem or isn't it?
19:29You don't need to apply.
19:30Part of play until you're 40 is giving B.O.B. answers, man.
19:34I, yeah, I love the good old B.O.B. answers.
19:36You don't hear about a lot of rambunctious, outspoken.
19:38How many of the listeners remember the B.O.B. answers?
19:40They, oh, they.
19:41I'm just trying to be the best EMF substation participant as I can be.
19:46We bring up some of the B.O.B. PTSD on a regular basis.
19:50I would love it if all of a sudden the team, like, gave out a fiery statement about how it's no big deal.
19:55And they were like, look at John Weeks.
19:57He's 40 years old.
19:58Yeah, yeah.
19:59And he's doing it just fine.
20:01He's doing it.
20:01No, you got, I mean, you just got to circle Big Trent.
20:05Look how that guy's been rolling.
20:06Oh, yeah.
20:0738, that's true.
20:08Yeah, yeah.
20:09Lead position.
20:10Yep.
20:10Crazy.
20:11Yep.
20:11Hey, before we get you out of here, what's the plan?
20:13Playing, you know, back again next year?
20:16Yeah, I hope so.
20:17I hope so.
20:17You know, I feel great.
20:18I'm really loving where I'm at.
20:20I love my group.
20:21The locker room is amazing.
20:22The Yorks, Kyle.
20:23Kyle Shanahan, you know, John Lynch, the whole organization has been top-notch.
20:30It's been really fun to be here.
20:31That's great.
20:32So, I'm hoping so.
20:33You know, I mean, listen, I might get in trouble, but I know in two weeks I'm 40.
20:38So, I know that it's coming up.
20:41So, we'll see.
20:41But I still feel like I've got a lot of good football left in.
20:44I'd like to bring up Reggie Roby, what, punted until he was 45?
20:47Long time.
20:48Yeah, yeah, long time.
20:49Yep.
20:50Well, that's the plan right now, boys.
20:52Good, good.
20:52Well, you know we're rooting for you from Houston.
20:54Well, I appreciate it.
20:54Always, and it's great to see you.
20:56We miss you, and glad you were able to stop by and spend a few minutes with us, man.
20:58Yeah, me too, man.
20:59Thanks for letting me come on.
21:00Thanks for letting me come on.
21:01Thanks for letting me come on.
21:01Thanks for letting me come on.
