00:00Sometimes I do do the Spotify jam, but mainly I'm in charge of the music.
00:04I don't know if you can tell so far that I am obsessed with leopard print.
00:09Favorite pop album, favorite pop artist of all time.
00:30Hey everyone, my name is Anna from Lil's Demise, and we're currently on tour with The Spoke Zarathustra, The Crimson Armada, and Heavy Hitter.
00:45And today we are going to be showing off my van, Big Ang.
00:48Okay, so this is where I usually like to sit, unless everyone else is trying to fight for shotgun.
00:57But you know, it's the most comfy in my opinion.
01:00Obviously I got these leopard print seats.
01:02I don't know if you can tell so far that I am obsessed with leopard print and pink and all of that sorts of stuff blinged out.
01:10So I have this little rear view mirror that's falling apart, but it's okay.
01:15And I have this little chandelier that I love.
01:18Currently broke, but it's literally my favorite part of the van next to the seats.
01:22I have my Saving Grace water bottle.
01:25It's always with me.
01:26I don't leave anywhere without it.
01:28It's like my comfort water bottle.
01:30I got it from Michaels, and I just thought it was super cute because of like the skulls and the leopard print.
01:36So up here basically is just, we got all of our cables.
01:40I have straws for warming up.
01:42It's kind of like a breath work that I do to keep the stamina.
01:45We also have this Starlink, so we do work on the road, at least three of us.
01:51I do social media management.
01:53My guitarist, David, does like graphic design and stuff like that.
01:57And then our photographer, Alba, she has a remote job as well as editing on the road.
02:01So this is definitely an essential for working on the road and still making money other than just touring.
02:09We also have this really nice blue cooler that up here, it's kind of like you can put any dry products.
02:18So it's kind of like, we haven't used it yet, but it stays cold up here.
02:22So we can put like sandwiches and stuff.
02:24And then inside, obviously, we have like drinks, just to ignore the trash.
02:34I don't know who put that there.
02:36Yeah, so we mainly have drinks up here.
02:39A little carplay that I had to install, and I actually installed this carpet because before it was like a really disgusting rubber.
02:47And so I didn't want that to be a part of the van.
02:50I wanted it to be a little nice, so this is also a part of the carpet.
02:53So mainly who does the driving is me and then my fill-in drummer, Tim.
02:59Before, my boyfriend was on the tour, which he built this van with me.
03:02Shout out, Tony.
03:03He was doing most of the driving, but he actually left just yesterday.
03:06So nighttimes are Tim, daytimes are me, or maybe our bassist Juan, but it's mainly both of us.
03:14So everyone in the van mainly listens to metal.
03:17Like my bassist, my drummer, and my guitarist, they mainly listen to metal.
03:21So I like to interject because we're listening to metal all the time on tour, which I love, of course.
03:26But sometimes it's like, I want to hear something else.
03:28So I tend to put like goth music, like The Cure.
03:31The Cure is one of my favorite bands.
03:32Or I put on pop music like Lady Gaga or Britney Spears, definitely one of my favorites.
03:38So I'm mainly playing the music.
03:40Sometimes I do do the Spotify jam so that anyone can put in cues, but mainly I'm in charge of the music.
03:46Okay, so this is the middle of the van.
03:49Over here we have a bunch of storage.
03:51So like any bathroom supplies, any, we have my herbal tea here, which I use to warm up.
03:57So it's the throat coat.
03:59I know a lot of vocalists use that.
04:01And I also mix it with like the ginger lemon tea, and it tastes really good.
04:05So that's what I use my cup for is water and tea.
04:07That's it.
04:08Extra batteries, baby wipes, detergent for when we need to do laundry.
04:13And this door is a little broken, so we have to hold it up by a bungee cord.
04:17We have these little ugly curtains that I put up so it doesn't get super bright inside.
04:25And this is the crazy part.
04:27This is a futon that I built with Tony, my boyfriend, and it pulls out.
04:32So the latch comes off here.
04:36You can see the slat bed here, so it pulls out all the way.
04:40It's kind of hard to do.
04:41You get the gist.
04:43We just close it here while we're driving so it doesn't move around.
04:48But this is super comfy.
04:49Most people sit up here.
04:50If they don't feel like sitting up here, they are mainly laying in bed.
04:54Before our photographer, Alba, was sitting, sleeping up here.
04:57Now it's our drummer, Tim.
04:59He switched spots.
05:00And, yeah, it's really comfy when you're sleeping on it.
05:03And to sit on it, it's decent for long drives.
05:06So under here we have some snack trays.
05:09So protein bars, peanut butter, jelly bread, this instant mac and cheese that doesn't work
05:17unless you have a microwave, which is hard when there's no microwaves everywhere.
05:21And then we also have another one.
05:24More snacks, lots of peanuts, paper towels, turkey for protein.
05:30And, yeah, this is kind of how we eat when we don't have anywhere to go to stop by.
05:36Back here is the bottom bunk.
05:40So mainly Juan and David sleep down here.
05:44And then if everyone's up here, I like to work on my computer back here.
05:49So what I'll do is I'll kind of, like, lift the bed.
05:52And then I'll take this little stadium seat.
05:56And then I'll basically slide it in right here and do my work on my computer.
06:01Because, to be honest, I feel like it's more comfy than being trapped in the futon.
06:05Little essential bag here to put in, like, paper towels or things that we want to hold quickly.
06:10Got a little trash can so it doesn't get too messy.
06:13We also have this blue eddy, which is very essential when we don't have anywhere to charge anything
06:19since we're using our computers half the time.
06:21We have to charge our phones and computers a lot of the time since it runs out of battery really quickly.
06:27So this was definitely a really good investment.
06:30And then my favorite part of the bottom bunk is the fact that we have a little light.
06:35So you can see a lot better down there and it's not so dark.
06:40We put these floors in.
06:42They were really difficult.
06:43This used to be, like, a whole...
06:45It was a really gross van before, but we literally took everything out, the plastic and everything,
06:51cleaned it up, made this floor, put this little edging in.
06:54We put little walls and the shelving to mask the wheels.
06:58And we also put, like, a sound barrier so it's not super loud.
07:03Up here is my bunk.
07:07Again, I like leopard print a lot.
07:09So me and my photographer, Alba, sit up here.
07:12Over there, you can see, is my little pillow cat skeleton.
07:17But yeah, we sleep up here.
07:19It gets really cold at night, thankfully, since it's a fall tour.
07:23So we don't need to sleep with the van on.
07:24But sometimes I'll hang, like, a little fan if it gets a little too hot.
07:29And again, curtains everywhere.
07:31We like the dark.
07:32I can't sleep if it's light out.
07:34I'll be immediately up by the second the sun comes out.
07:37I put this little sticker here that our actual drummer, Larry, he found it at a gas station.
07:43And we were like, yeah, that's us.
07:45You gotta put that on here.
07:46So here is the back.
07:52I put this little carpet down because sometimes we like to take out the bed.
07:56And if we're just using it for regular shows that are more local that we don't need to sleep in the van,
08:01we can just put all our gear down here so it doesn't scratch the floor.
08:05Still the wood down here, the vinyl wood.
08:07And we keep, like, our personal belongings easy to reach rather than having to go in and out of the trailer.
08:12So this is Juan, Tim's, and David's stuff.
08:17So Juan and Tim, they sleep down here.
08:19They have another light.
08:21So in case we can't see back here, we turn on the little light over here so it's easier to see.
08:28Up here is my stuff.
08:30So I have a lot of things.
08:32I dress up the most, so I own the most things and bring the most things.
08:37So over here is kind of, like, my socks, underwear, my accessories, stockings, makeup.
08:46And I have, like, some hats over here.
08:48This is my favorite hat.
08:50But I also have, like, Ed Hardy Von Dutch leopard print, if you couldn't tell.
08:57I love leopard print.
08:58Oh, and this is actually a hat that I made.
09:02So we got it embroidered, and I made the little leopard print and the bedazzled one,
09:05and it was, like, a limited edition one that we sold.
09:09But, yeah, this is my makeup bag that a fan actually gave to me,
09:13which I was actually looking for something very similar to this, a Juicy Couture makeup bag.
09:16And the fact that she brought this to me was, like, so thoughtful because I was like,
09:19how did you know?
09:20How did you know I wanted this?
09:22Um, again, leopard print bag.
09:25I have my little computer bag, so in case I don't need it, I literally just stuff it back here.
09:30Creatine does not belong to me.
09:31It belongs to my boyfriend who was here because he started working out a lot.
09:35Over here we have a propane stove.
09:37So it's a Coleman two-burner stove that we like to take out and cook sometimes.
09:41So if we are parked up at, like, a Planet Fitness, we like to cook.
09:46So I'll put, like, burgers or hot dogs so, you know, we don't have to buy out food so much.
09:51Um, this is just the box for our Starlink just in case.
09:55Shower shoes, towel, shower bag, and, yeah, curtains again.
10:00Don't like the light.
10:01Like the dark.
10:02So another one of my things I got is this Lady Gaga, the Fame Vinyl,
10:07one of my favorite artists, and I actually got this at the Preserving Underground in Pittsburgh.
10:11And I saw it, and I was like, yeah, I have to buy it.
10:15Favorite, favorite pop album, favorite pop artist of all time.
10:19Shout out Preserving Underground.
10:21But, yeah, that's basically Big Ange, and if you don't know who Big Ange is,
10:26shout out Mob Wives, R.I.P. Big Ange.
10:28She was a part of that show, and that's who I named it after just because, you know,
10:32super 2000s, which is what I'm super into.
10:35And, yeah, that's my band.
10:37Thank you guys so much for watching.
