00:44We're in Chicago.
00:45So far, pretty good.
00:48Our tour manager, Nate, right now drives.
00:52And normally, because he's checked out on it, he's the tour manager, he's the driver.
00:57And I'll basically sit in the front seat.
01:01So the rule is that I have is no loud music after the gig.
01:06We need to just kind of chill.
01:08And everybody's hyped up.
01:10I get it.
01:11Everybody's on a high for after the show.
01:13But I just want to chill.
01:15And it's kind of hard for me to get everybody to chill normally.
01:22So what I'll do is I'll quietly send texts saying I'm sleeping.
01:27And they'll stop for a couple of minutes.
01:30We try to drive an hour each way in the direction that we're going for the next stop.
01:36So normally, Nate will use headphones.
01:40And I encourage everybody to use their own headphones because, to be honest, I'm old school.
01:45And if somebody puts something on, I probably will hate it.
01:49So I have my own stuff on.
01:52And since I'm doing drums and vocals every night, the less talking I do, the better.
01:59So we have, like, a constant flow of ice water in our cooler here.
02:05And you'll see, like, Nate will drink these Celsius.
02:09There was a plant up here that was kind of, in my opinion, unauthorized.
02:13But it got put there anyway.
02:15And you'll see a lot of, like, crumbs on the floor and dip.

02:22And I kind of get in trouble.

02:25It's kind of disgusting.
02:26But this is, like, my spit cup.
02:29And I'm kind of, like, always dipping.
02:32And nobody likes it.
02:34But I kind of need it.
02:36I need constant black tea, dip, and crumbs.

02:45And to be honest, like, a normal metalhead, you would think, they don't care about crumbs.

02:59But I'll have, like, bags full of dip.

03:17So I just keep everything on the floor with me.

03:28I felt weird about asking Nate to stop because we just stopped to go to the bathroom.
03:33So I tried to spit out going, like, 60 on the highway.
03:37And it didn't work.
03:39But he didn't notice it right away.
03:40I kept it from him.
03:42And this is, like, my...
03:44Where I sit normally.
03:45So, my setup, I'll have, like, all my bags here and just empties.
03:52And when I'm done with stuff, I like to just throw it on the floor.
03:55And I'll kick my shoes off and take my pants off.

04:05I just put waters in here.
04:06These are some badass 511 tacticals, which I bring on every tour and never wear.
04:15Because normally, I don't wear pants.
04:18It's, like, so hot.
04:19So, I'll just either, like, go in underwear or shorts.
04:23And it seems to work.
04:25So, the charging situation is, uh, this is, like, an adapter.
04:30It's going to, I think I see, uh, like, two things.
04:34So, it's, like, uh, most of the band uses iPhone.
04:39And then, uh, two of the crew use Samsung.
04:41So, we have that covered.
04:44So, this thing, Richard will actually do work on his laptop.
04:49And, uh, do, do some writing.
04:53And then, here, if you look under here, these are more shoes.
04:56I got everybody hooked on these black deck shoes.
04:59Because they're kind of, like, you could wear them with pajamas or shorts.
05:02It doesn't matter.
05:03I usually wear them for drumming.
05:06This is one of the chargers.
05:08My hoodie back here, custom made.
05:12This is some more dip.
05:15Um, these are empties.
05:17So, yeah, this is what it looks like.
05:19So, two people will sit here.
05:21Um, our merch person.
05:24And then, uh, somebody will, like, rest back there.
05:28So, it's, like, it's not bad.
05:31There's plenty of room.
05:32And the back is, like, all merch and gear.
05:35Usually, everybody's on their phone.
05:37And there's not, I try to rest in the front and sleep.
05:40There's not a lot of sleeping going on.
05:42Today, there was.
05:43Because we were kind of, uh, second show.
05:45Got out late.
05:46Um, but it's usually just people with their own individual headphones in listening to stuff.
05:54Basically, like, if somebody needs something, it's usually me.
05:57Because I, I need to keep stopping to use the restroom.
06:01Because, like, once I, once we start the tour, it's constant water flow.
06:05And I have to hydrate for the next day coming up.
06:08So, it's that, that type of situation.
06:10But, uh, everybody's pretty quiet.
06:12So, back here is where we have our merch set up.
06:19And, see, that says no.
06:22A lot, like, those are staying.
06:25So, we'll have boxes marked that say yes or no.
06:29And, uh, these are some racks.
06:31Tonight, they had racks.
06:32So, we like to bring these.
06:34That's some, like, extra stock back there.
06:37And, uh, somebody's sandals.
06:39Uh, I don't know anything about that.
06:42Again, that's unauthorized.
06:44Just like the plant.
06:45And they try to hide it from me.
06:48After our tour manager, Nate, and, uh, our merch girl, Claire,
06:54will stack the merch and do that kind of Tetris game.
06:58And, uh, I'm not good at that at all.
07:01It takes, it's kind of hard for me, to be honest, to, uh, back up.
07:05Uh, because, uh,
07:06like, concentration, I'm, like, not in that mode.
07:11It's hard for me to answer questions.
07:12So, I'll, like, pack my stuff up and just, like, put it back here.
07:16There's, like, a certain order.
07:18They like to do the merch first and put that away.
07:20And then the gear.
07:21And then, like, our personal bags.
