00:00Now this one here is the bicep attachment. I can use this one for preacher curls either with a
00:03barbell or with dumbbells and I can also use it for incline bicep curls to support the back of
00:09my arms. Now this one here is the only one that actually doesn't go through the port here through
00:13the top of the bench. It actually inserts into the frame the back of the bench and it does so with a
00:19pin here on the top. I insert the pin through one of two holes. There's two holes in the back of the
00:23frame. I insert the top pin and then I have a mag pin so that I can lock it in place. Now this one
00:29here has a 16 inch pad on each side. Each pad is two inches in thickness and it's using a grippy
00:35vinyl that the bench uses. So very comfortable padding, very supportive. Only thing about it
00:41though is that because it is adjustable, it adjusts up and down here. There's six different settings
00:45and I use a pop pin here. It does have a little bit of a wiggle on each one of these so the tolerance
00:51could be better. It could be tighter but still once I use the bench I don't really feel it that much.
00:56It does wiggle but it's not terrible. So this is the only one that doesn't go through the port and
01:01I'm going to show you how I connect it right now. I suggest to give you some reference this is the
01:05port on the top and these are the two holes I'm going to be using for the bicep attachment. The pads
01:10are going to be facing forward and the pin that's built into the bicep attachment is going to go in the
01:17top hole. Then this is going to swing loosely and that's where the mag pin comes in. I push this forward
01:22a little bit, push it in and then I'm ready to use it. So that's what it looks like after I set it up.
01:29It's ready to use and I can do some incline curls and again I can move this up and down
01:33because I have the adjustments here with the pop pin. I have six different angles where I can adjust
01:38it up and down depending on my height and wherever I want the arm support. So I brought you to the back
01:44of the bench again because I want to show you how I convert this to a preacher curl bench and for this
01:48I'm going to be using the sundial which allows me to flip down the top pad here. Now because this bar
01:54is in the way here it does get a little bit tight when I try to convert this to a preacher curl and
01:58vice versa and also because this bracket that connects the bicep attachment to the frame here
02:03doesn't use anything like a pop pin or anything where it keeps it very tight. It's just using the
02:09mag pin and then the built-in pin here. It does tend to wiggle some and also the the arm pads here they do
02:15have a little bit of a wiggle so there was something that they could improve upon that would
02:19be something there. Again once you put weight on that on the pad that wiggle diminishes but it's
02:23still there. So I'm going to pull the pin out here from the sundial and then this is going to allow me
02:29to flip this down and then from this here I can use this window to insert the pin and lock it back
02:35in place. Okay so I'm going to insert it in here. There we go it's locked in place and from here I can change
02:44the angle of the incline by switching the angle of the bench. So that's pretty much it. From here I can adjust
02:52the height of the pads to whatever feels better for me and then from here I can do my preacher curls. I've done
02:59them facing my uprights where I have Jacobs and an easy curl bar and I can do barbell bicep curls using the
03:06preacher bench or I can do it single-handedly with dumbbells where I'm doing them one at a time or even two at a time
03:12with dumbbells. So nice feature here that they added just they need to improve this wiggle a little bit
03:18better so that there's there's less of that going on but other than that I think it's a great attachment
03:23to give more versatility to the bench. That's my review on the Freak Athlete ABX. If you want to learn
03:28more about it I'll leave a link below this video. That link is shreddeddad.com forward slash ABX. Hope you
