00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:18Peace be with you.
00:20We acknowledge our sins, we acknowledge the compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:25Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting. Amen.
00:40Let us pray. Almighty ever-living God, who governs all things, both in heaven and on earth, mercifully hear the pleading of your people, and bestow your peace on our times, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:10A reading from the first book of Samuel
01:21On their way back, as David was returning after killing the Philistine,
01:28The women came out to meet King Saul from all the towns of Israel, singing and dancing to the sound of tambourine and lyre and cries of joy.
01:40And as they danced, the women sang, Saul has killed his thousands, and David his tens of thousands.
01:48Saul was very angry. The incident was not to his liking.
01:52They have given David tens of thousands, he said, but me only the thousands.
01:58It is all but the kingship now.
02:01And Saul turned a jealous eye on David from that day forward.
02:07Saul told Jonathan his son and all his servants of his intention to kill David.
02:13Now Jonathan, Saul's son, had David in great affection.
02:17And so Jonathan warned David,
02:18My father's soul is looking for a way to kill you.
02:21He said,
02:23So be on your guard tomorrow morning.
02:25Hide away in some secret place.
02:28Then I will go and keep my father company in the fields where you are hiding.
02:33I will talk to my father about you.
02:35I will find out what the situation is and let you know.
02:40So Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul, his father.
02:43He said,
02:44Let not the king sin against his servant David, for he has not sinned against you,
02:50and what he has done has been greatly to your advantage.
02:54He took his life in his hands when he killed the Philistine,
02:58and the Lord brought about a great victory for all Israel.
03:02So at yourself and rejoiced,
03:05when they sinned against innocent blood in killing David without cause,
03:09Saul was impressed by Jonathan's words and took an oath.
03:12If the Lord lives, I will not kill him.
03:17Jonathan called David and told him all these things.
03:20And Jonathan brought him to Saul,
03:22and David attended on him as before.
03:26The word of the Lord.
03:28Thanks be to God.
03:30In God I trust, I shall not fear.
03:33In God I trust, I shall not fear.
03:35Have mercy on me, God.
03:37People crush me, they fight me all day long and oppress me.
03:41My force crush me all the day long, for many fight proudly against me.
03:46In God I trust, I shall not fear.
03:49You kept an account of my wanderings, you have kept a record of my tears.
03:55Are they not written in your book?
03:57Then my force will be put to flight on the day I call to you.
04:01In God I trust, I shall not fear.
04:03This I know, that God is on my side.
04:06In God whose word I praise.
04:09In the Lord whose word I praise.
04:11In God I trust, I shall not fear.
04:13What can mortal man do to me?
04:16In God I trust, I shall not fear.
04:19Bowed by the vows, I have made you.
04:23O God, I will offer you praise.
04:24For you rescued my soul from death.
04:27You kept my feet from stumbling.
04:30That I may walk in the presence of God, in the light of the living.
04:34In God I trust, I shall not fear.
04:36Hallelujah, hallelujah.
04:39Our Savior Jesus Christ has done away with death and brought us life through his gospel.
04:45Hallelujah.
04:45The Lord be with you.
04:52And with your spirit.
04:53A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark.
04:56Glory to you, O Lord.
04:58Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lakeside, and great crowds from Galilee followed him.
05:05From Judea, Jerusalem, Midiumea, Transjordania, and the region of Tyre and Sidon,
05:11great numbers who had heard of all he was doing, came to him.
05:16And he asked his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, to keep him from being crushed.
05:24For he had cured so many that all who were afflicted in any way were crowding around him to touch him.
05:35And the angry spirits, whenever they saw him, would fall down before him and shout.
05:41You are the Son of God.
05:44But he warned them strongly not to make him known.
05:50The Gospel of the Lord.
05:52Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:55Jesus continues on his mission.
05:58Mission of healing and confronting evil.
06:02And that mission continues today.
06:04Because of Jesus, we can face evil with courage.
06:12Courage that comes not from our own prowess, but because we know that his power is with us.
06:19And also we continue to bring whatever needs healing in our life to him.
06:25Always saying, your will be done.
06:29Jesus and his mission to spread the kingdom of God is about God's plan of universal salvation and hope for all.
06:38And our full humanity, which comes when we are in harmony with God's plan.
06:44That's when we find ourselves.
06:46That's when we are who we are meant to be.
06:55Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
06:57For to your goodness we have this bread to offer.
06:59Which earth has given human hands have made.
07:02It will become for us the bread of life.
07:04Blessed be God forever.
07:05Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
07:32For to your goodness we have this wine to offer.
07:35Fruit of divine work of human hands.
07:37It will become our spiritual dream.
07:39Blessed be God forever.
07:49Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God our almighty Father.
07:56May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of God's name.
08:00For our good and good of all God's church.
08:02Grant us, Lord, we pray that we may participate worthily in these mysteries.
08:07For whenever the memorial of this sacrifice is celebrated, the work of our redemption is accomplished.
08:13Through Christ our Lord.
08:14Amen.
08:14The Lord be with you.
08:16And with your spirit.
08:17Lift up your hearts.
08:18Lift them up to the Lord.
08:19Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
08:21It is right and just.
08:23It is truly right and just.
08:24Our duty and our salvation.
08:26Always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father most holy.
08:29To your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
08:32Your words, for whom you made all things.
08:35Whom you sent as our Savior and Redeemer.
08:38Incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin.
08:41Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people.
08:45He stretched out his hands as he endured his passion.
08:47So as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
08:53And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory.
08:57As with one voice, we acclaim.
08:59Holy, holy, holy, holy Lord, God of hosts.
09:03Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
09:06Hosanna in the highest.
09:08Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
09:12Hosanna in the highest.
09:14You are indeed holy, O Lord, the font of all holiness.
09:17Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray.
09:20By sending down your spirit upon them like the dewfall.
09:23So they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
09:27At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion,
09:32he took bread and giving thanks broke it and gave it to his disciples,
09:37saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
09:41for this is my body which will be given up for you.
09:50In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice.
09:54And once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples,
09:58saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it.
10:02For this is the chalice of my blood,
10:04the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
10:07which will be pulled down for you and for many,
10:11for the forgiveness of sins.
10:14Do this in memory of me.
10:16The mystery of faith.
10:25When we eat this bread and bring this cup,
10:28we proclaim your death, O Lord,
10:31until you come again.
10:33Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
10:37we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
10:40giving thanks that you've held us worthy
10:43to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:47Humbly we pray,
10:48that partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
10:51we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:55Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world
10:58and bring her to the fullness of charity,
11:01together with Leo, our Pope,
11:02we, our unworthy servant,
11:04and all the clergy and the entire people,
11:06your Son has gained for you.
11:07Remember also our brothers and sisters
11:10who have fallen asleep
11:11in the hope of the resurrection
11:13and all who have died in your mercy.
11:17Welcome them into the light of your face.
11:20Have mercy on us all, we pray,
11:22that with the blessed Virgin Mary,
11:24Mother of God,
11:25blessed Joseph, her spouse,
11:27with the blessed apostles,
11:29and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
11:32we may, through your grace,
11:34merit to be coerced to eternal life
11:36and may praise and glorify you
11:39through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:43Through him and with him and in him,
11:45O God, Almighty Father,
11:47in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
11:50all glory and honor is yours
11:52for ever and ever, O Lord.
11:55At the Savior's command and form by divine teaching,
11:59we dare to say,
12:01Our Father, who art in heaven,
12:04hallowed be thy name,
12:06thy kingdom come,
12:07thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
12:11Give us this day our daily bread
12:14and forgive us our trespasses
12:16as we forgive those who trespass against us
12:20and lead us not into temptation,
12:23but deliver us from evil.
12:25Deliver us, Lord, we pray,
12:27from every evil.
12:28Graciously grant peace in our days
12:30that by the help of your mercy
12:32we may be always free from sin
12:34and safe from all distress
12:35as we await the blessed hope
12:37and the coming of our Savior,
12:39Jesus Christ.
12:40For the kingdom, the power, and the glory
12:43are yours, now and forever.
12:46Lord Jesus Christ,
12:47who has said to your apostles,
12:49Peace I leave you,
12:50my peace I give you.
12:51Look not on our sins,
12:53but on the faith of your church
12:54and graciously grant her peace and unity
12:57in accordance with your will,
12:59who live and reign forever and ever.
13:01Amen.
13:02The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ
13:04be with you always.
13:05And with your spirit.
13:06Let's offer each other a sign of peace.
13:07Peace be with you.
13:10Lamb of God.

13:32Happy are those who are called
13:33to the supper of the Lamb.
13:35Lord, I am not worthy.
13:36You should enter under my roof,
13:38but only say the word,
13:40and my soul shall be healed.

13:43I believe that you are present
13:45in the most blessed sacrament.

13:48and I desire to receive you into my soul.

13:55comely, spiritually, into my heart,
13:58I embrace you as if you were already there,
