00:52faith,
00:53and eternal share in the resurrection of your only begotten Son,
00:57who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
01:03Amen.
01:05A reading from the Acts of the Apostles.
01:10A bitter persecution started against the Church in Jerusalem,
01:16and everyone except the apostles fled to the country districts of Judea and Samaria.
01:22There were some devout people, however, who buried Stephen and made great mourning for him.
01:30Saul then worked for the total destruction of the Church.
01:34He went from house to house, arresting both men and women, and sending them to prison.
01:41Those who had escaped went from place to place, preaching the good news.
01:46One of them was Philip, who went to a Samaritan town and proclaimed the Christ to them.
01:53The people united in welcoming the message Philip preached,
01:58either because they had heard of the miracles he worked,
02:02or because they saw them for themselves.
02:05There were, for example, unclean spirits that came shrieking out of many who were possessed,
02:11and several paralytics and cripples who were cured.
02:15There was great rejoicing in that town as a result.
02:19The Word of the Lord.
02:21Thanks be to God.
02:23Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
02:26Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
02:29Cry out with joy to God, all the earth,
02:31who sing to this the glory of his name,
02:34or render him glorious praise.
02:36Say to God how tremendous your deeds.
02:39Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
02:42Before you all the earth shall bow,
02:44shall sing to your name,
02:47come and see the works of God,
02:49tremendous his deeds among us.
02:52Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
02:54Return the sea into dry land,
02:57they pass through the river dry short.
02:59Let our joy then be in him,
03:02he rules forever by his might.
03:04Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
03:07Alleluia, alleluia.
03:08All who believe in the Son have eternal life.
03:11And I will raise them up on the last day,
03:14says the Lord.
03:15Alleluia.
03:18The Lord be with you.
03:19And with your spirit.
03:21A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
03:24Glory to you, O Lord.
03:25Jesus said to the crowd,
03:27I am the bread of life.
03:29The one who comes to me will never be hungry.
03:32The one who believes in me will never thirst.
03:36As I have told you,
03:38you can see me,
03:39and still you do not believe.
03:42All that the Father gives me will come to me.
03:45And whoever comes to me,
03:47I shall not turn them away,
03:48because I have come from heaven.
03:51Not to do my own will,
03:53but to do the will of the one who sent me.
03:56Now the will of him who sent me,
03:58is that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me,
04:02and that I should raise it up on the last day.
04:07Yes, it is my Father's will,
04:09that whoever sees the Son and believes in him,
04:12shall have eternal life.
04:13That I shall raise them up on the last day.
04:18The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
04:21Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
04:23Eternal life refers both to the life to come,
04:26but also it starts now.
04:29Now we have the fullness of life in Jesus,
04:31by holding on to him,
04:34by trusting him,
04:35the way, the truth, and the life.
04:36We have life.
04:38So we bring our burdens,
04:40our anxieties,
04:41our preoccupations,
04:42our worries,
04:43and bring them to him for healing and transformation.
04:47transformation into resurrection and hope.
04:56Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
04:59for to your goodness we have this bread to offer,
05:02which earth has given human hands have made.
05:04It will become for us the bread of life.
05:06Blessed be God forever.
05:09Amen.
05:10Amen.
05:28Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
05:31for to your goodness we have this wine to offer,
05:33fruit of divine work of human hands.
05:36It will become our spiritual dream.
05:38Blessed be God forever.
05:51Let us pray,
05:52brothers and sisters,
05:53that my sacrifice and yours
05:55may be acceptable to God,
05:57our almighty Father.
05:58May the Lord accept this sacrifice at your hands
06:01for the praise and glory of his name,
06:03for our good and the good of all his holy church.
06:05Lord, we pray, O Lord,
06:07that we may always have fine delight
06:10in these paschal mysteries,
06:12so that renewed constantly at work within us
06:15may be the cause of our unending joy.
06:18Through Christ our Lord.
06:20Amen.
06:21The Lord be with you.
06:22And with your spirit.
06:23Lift up your hearts.
06:24To lift them up to the Lord.
06:25Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
06:27It is right and just.
06:29It is truly right and just
06:30our duty and our salvation
06:32at all times to acclaim you, O Lord.
06:34But in this time, above all,
06:36the Lord do it more gloriously,
06:37when Christ our Passover has been sacrificed.
06:41He never ceases to offer himself for us,
06:44but defends us
06:46and ever pleads our cause before you.
06:49He is the sacrificial victim who dies no more.
06:52The lamb once slain who lives forever.
06:55Therefore overcome with paschal joy,
06:57every land, every people exalts in your praise.
07:00And even the heavenly powers with the angelic hosts
07:04sing together the unending hymn of your glory
07:07as they acclaim
07:08Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts.
07:13Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
07:16Hosanna in the highest.
07:18Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
07:22Hosanna in the highest.
07:24Jesus, you are indeed holy, O Lord,
07:26the fount of all holiness.
07:28Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
07:30by sending down your spirit upon them
07:32like the dewfall,
07:33so they may become for us
07:35the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
07:38At the time he was betrayed
07:40and entered willingly into his passion,
07:43he took bread
07:44and giving thanks, broke it
07:46and gave it to his disciples,
07:48saying,
07:48Take this, all of you,
07:50and eat of it,
07:51for this is my body
07:53which will be given up for you.
08:00In a similar way,
08:01when supper was ended,
08:03he took the chalice
08:05and once more giving thanks,
08:08he gave it to his disciples,
08:09saying,
08:10Take this, all of you,
08:11and drink from it,
08:12for this is the chalice of my blood,
08:15the blood of the new
08:16and the eternal covenant,
08:18which will be poured out for you
08:20and for many
08:21for the forgiveness of sins.
08:23Do this in memory of me.
08:34The mystery of faith,
08:36when we eat this bread
08:37and drink this cup,
08:39we proclaim your death, O Lord,
08:41until you come again.
08:43Therefore, as we celebrate
08:45the memorial of his death
08:46and resurrection,
08:47we offer you, Lord,
08:48the bread of life
08:49and the chalice of salvation,
08:51giving thanks
08:52that you've held us worthy
08:53to be in your presence
08:55and minister to you.
08:57Humbly we pray
08:58that partaking of the body
09:00and blood of Christ,
09:01we may be gathered into one
09:03by the Holy Spirit.
09:05Remember, Lord,
09:06your church spread
09:07throughout the world
09:08and bring her
09:09to the fullness of charity,
09:11together with Leo, our Pope,
09:12me, your unworthy servant
09:14and all the clergy.
09:16Remember also
09:17our brothers and sisters
09:18who have fallen asleep
09:20in the hope
09:21of the resurrection
09:21and all who have died
09:23in your mercy.
09:25Welcome them
09:26into the light
09:26of your face.
09:28Have mercy on us all,
09:30we pray,
09:31that with the blessed
09:32Virgin Mary,
09:32Mother of God,
09:34blessed Joseph,
09:35her spouse,
09:35with the blessed apostles
09:37and all the saints
09:38who have pleased you
09:39throughout the ages,
09:40we may marriage
09:42to be coerced
09:43to eternal life
09:44and may praise
09:45and glorify you
09:47through your Son,
09:48Jesus Christ.
09:52Through him
09:53and with him
09:54and in him,
09:55O God,
09:55Almighty Father,
09:56in the unity
09:57of the Holy Spirit,
09:59all glory and honor
10:00is yours
10:00forever and ever.
10:02Amen.
10:05In the Savior's command
10:07and formed
10:07by divine teaching,
10:08we dare to say,
10:10Our Father,
10:11who art in heaven,
10:13hallowed be thy name.
10:15Thy kingdom come,
10:16thy will be done
10:17on earth
10:18as it is in heaven.
10:20Give us this day
10:21our daily bread
10:23and forgive us
10:24our trespasses
10:25as we forgive
10:27those who trespass
10:28against us
10:29and lead us
10:30not into temptation
10:31but deliver us
10:33from evil.
10:34Deliver us,
10:35Lord,
10:35we pray,
10:36from every evil.
10:37Graciously grant peace
10:38in our days
10:39that by the help
10:40of your mercy
10:41we may be always
10:42free from sin
10:43and safe
10:44from all distress
10:44as we await
10:46the blessed hope
10:47and the coming
