00:00Numbers are strong again, about 2,600. I mean that's a couple of thousand down of where we
00:04were in December, but still good strong numbers. I think there's still plenty of cattle to come.
00:09It'll be interesting to see where we are in February. And as far as buying support goes,
00:13very much so nearly all local buying support. When I say local, Narra-Court, a bit of Humpham,
00:20Fenola, Mount Gambier, pretty much 150 a ton of k radius, most of the cattle. Our heavier feed
00:27cattle, a bit of that got sucked up through midfield. I think he might have bought, you know,
00:31400 odd cattle out of the run. But the main push was from local inquiry, still pretty reasonable
00:37for feed down here and it's been a pretty good end of the season for us.
00:40And as a general rule, how did prices compare to your December store sale?
00:44Yeah, we might have just been a little bit off the base on the Blacks, on the Blacksteers I'm
00:48referring to, but only marginal. The main run of them probably sort of in that 470 through
00:53to 420 or 30, perhaps, for your run of proper weaner and weaned weaner. The coloured cattle,
01:02as far as the steer portion went, probably line balled the same. I thought they held up very well.
01:08Most of them, I'm going to say, I haven't done the maths, but just off the cuff, maybe sort of 440
01:12through to 470 or 80 on the weaner weights. And when I say weaner weights, we've had a good finish
01:19to the season. We had some exceptional weights in our weaners. You know, calves, 9 to 11 months,
01:23or 10 months average, plenty of our calves here today, properly weaned and well over 400 kilos.
01:28So pretty, pretty solid, solid cattle and very good run of cattle today.
