00:00The market today at CTLX was firm on the good runs of black cattle, wouldn't say any year
00:06of the last month but good, you're firm on good strong black cattle in both your heifer run and
00:12the steer run. It did taper off a bit on your lighter pens of cattle and also your crossbred
00:19cattle it was a bit tougher due to increasing yarding numbers there was a few buyers that
00:25here from the lane and also due to the dry weather conditions is probably why there's not a lot of demand for the restocker market at the moment.
00:36The cattle and calf job was very strong only good black cows and calves, sort of three in one packages there were still good buying but yeah it was confirmed to the year at that point.
00:44If they're a bit heavier than one was here today over that sort of 330-40 kilo mark they're trying to get them into the feedlots or prepare them for the feedlots.
00:53I think same thing, people that have got them at that heavier bait, they probably decide to hang on to them if they've got the feedlots.
01:00So more or less that's probably the trend there is that they'd be hanging on to it if they're nearly that way.
01:06We had a couple of bengals there that had steers and cafes in that could only hold them to the vendor service.
01:11However due to the dry conditions they've decided to offer earlier just because they haven't had raid in those regions that they would like.
01:19So there is a few cattle moving about now that will normally hold them until those weeks after.
