00:00I'll just start with you, Alexander, right away.
00:02Obviously, Ace walked out at the very end of last season, walked out alone.
00:07What does his journey look like in season two?
00:09And maybe is he sort of on more of a solo internal journey in this season?
00:14Yeah, I mean, I think it's really about Ace coming to terms with the man he can become.
00:21You don't really understand why he's so erratic and why he's the kind of guy he is.
00:25But in the second season, you get a glimpse into what they've actually had to deal with.
00:30And I think in that, you sort of begin to understand Ace and he begins to understand himself.
00:35So, yeah, Ace is kind of on his own solo journey.
00:37And by the end of the season, I think you can see the person that he's destined to become and the promotion that this could really be on a national level.
00:49So, yeah, Ace is off on his own on this one.
00:51So, Stephen, obviously, you know, the end of last season put, I think, Jack and Ace at their lowest point as brothers.
01:00You know, what steps is Jack going to take to try and repair that relationship with his brother?
01:06I think that the most important thing that Jack does this year, this year, this season, is not try to repair his relationship with Ace or repair his relationship with Stacey or his mom or whatever.
01:25He does a real hard thing, which is he takes a good long look in the fucking mirror and decides, okay, the way that I've been going about things is not working.
01:38Because we just had the most successful night in the history of this promotion that I've made, that I've prioritized more than anything else in my life.
01:46And yet I come home to an empty house and I have no one to share it with.
01:50So whatever I'm doing is not working.
01:53And so for him to have that moment of realization and then to, you know, to focus on repairing has been, like, that was a really, really fun thing to play.
02:08Absolutely.
02:08Do you think the relationship, like, between Jack and Ace can be the same?
02:13I think it can be.
02:14No, I think it can be better.
02:15Okay.
02:15No, I think it can be better.
02:17I mean, look, these guys have, for as bad as the fair was and for as, you know, for as explicitly as Jack broke Ace's trust, those guys have so many shared experiences, good and bad.
02:35You know, Jack was, listen, Jack growing up, Jack was Ace's protector, right?
02:39And, you know, at a certain point, you got to stop doing that.
02:42You got to let a person live.
02:43Yeah.
02:43And, you know, it's just, he's, it just took him a while to figure that out.
02:48But, you know, I think, I think it can, I think it can get back.
02:52I think it can be better because it can be based in, it can be based in honesty and mutual respect and it wasn't before.
03:00So.
03:00Yeah.
03:01It can be better.
03:02Okay.
03:02And then Alexander, I wanted to touch on this from last season, you know, in the ring.
03:06Do you think Ace could have killed Jack had Crystal not stepped in?
03:14Accidentally.
03:15Yeah.
03:16For sure.
03:17But I, but, you know, Steven and I talk about this a lot too.
03:20There's a, it's a, it's a, it's a hate love relationship.
03:25Like they, they hate each other, but underneath it all, you know, in an instant, if, if either of their lives were in danger, they would be there for each other.
03:36I don't think Ace would ever purposely.
03:39Right.
03:39But like, he was so blinded in that moment that, you know, by accident, sure.
03:45Like he was just, there was, he was not pulling any punches.
03:48And, you know, neither were we when we were actually shooting.
03:51It was, it was brutal.
03:52Well, I am very excited to watch this, this sibling brother relationship evolve over the course of the season.
04:02The first season was so terrific and ended in such a great way.
04:04I'm excited.
04:05I can do it again.
