00:15It's a tease that I'm not a typical villain. I'm playing the role with a lot of heart and emotions.

00:23I'm pretty sure you're going to feel for the dragon side too.

01:01So I need to ask you, how did you even train for this type of role for an iconic franchise like this?

01:10I basically trained the way I always train, but only I added maybe a few more hours per day

01:17in order to be super ripped, super shredded.

01:21I think that I was in the best shape of my life for this movie.

01:25Definitely, yeah.

01:26I lost like 20, 25 pounds.

01:30So my walking around weight is right now, you go up, bro.

01:34Which is like 245, and for the movie I was like 220.

01:38So were you taking in like a million calories a day?

01:41I'm exaggerating.

01:42Right now I'm doing that.

01:45Taking a million calories, eating pizza and cheesesteak and all that shit.

01:50But for the movie I was only on a strict diet, you know, chicken, rice, a few vegetables, and that's it.

01:57How does it feel to be part of such an iconic franchise like this?

02:00Did Sylvester pull you aside or anybody from the film and kind of like talk to you, give you a pep talk, anything?

02:06Not that you need it, but you know.

02:08Well, Stallone is the one who discovered me, right?

02:11So he has a talent for finding new talent.

02:15He found Dolph back in the days.

02:18He found Carl Weathers.

02:19And he found a lot of guys, you know, so I have to give him credits.

02:24But, you know, he also came up to me and told me, man, I found you.

02:29The pressure is now on you.

02:31Pay me back, right?

02:33I'm giving you a lot of credits before, now you have to pay me back.

02:36So I knew that in order to do that, I have to give at least a thousand percent to make everyone happy.

02:42And, of course, the audience, because they're expecting a lot from this role, because it's the son of an iconic role.

02:48So I'm pretty confident that everyone will be happy.

02:52I'm confident.

02:53I have a lot of confidence in you.
