00:00Big night for your daughter. Big night for your whole family.
00:03You know what? It's a huge night for my daughter Avery Singer and her partner Jolie.
00:06The Batch Boss is such a great concept.
00:09I always say to people, they go, what can I do to start a business?
00:12I say the best business to start is a service business because you don't need much of that capital.
00:15But you need a great idea. And people like services, right?
00:18They want somebody to execute and do something efficiently for them.
00:21And that's what they are. They're curators for bachelorette and bachelor parties.
00:25I mean, this generation, they all are going away for three, four days.
00:29My generation, we just went to a club for the night and that's it.
00:32They go away for three, four days.
00:34So they need someone to really execute it.
00:36And just watching her develop it.
00:38You know, growing up, she saw me develop multiple businesses and doing logos and websites and packaging and everything.
00:45And now she's, by observing me, I just see how she's become a superstar.
00:50And I just love it. I just love it. I'm just so proud.
00:53We've seen for so many years on the show that you have such a work ethic.
00:57She clearly has developed that from you.
00:59Absolutely.
01:00How special is it for you to see her work so hard at such a young age?
01:03It just blows my mind.
01:05Even some of my friends, I said, you know, I never saw her, anyone work so hard.
01:09You know, she was determined. She had a concept.
01:12She and her girlfriend were doing a bachelorette party for someone else.
01:15And they said teasingly, wow, this could be a business.
01:17Because her partner, Jolie, is also very organized and very bright and very efficient.
01:22And they make a great team. They really complement each other.
01:25When I had my businesses, I just was always myself.
01:27I'd hire people underneath me that work for me, but they're actually partners.
01:31And they really complement each other extremely well.
01:34So not only are they great friends, but now they're business partners.
01:37And I just, I just, my heart is busting for them.
01:40It is just their concept and the way they work together.
01:42And they've booked so many parties already.
01:45And they're a closer.
01:47Because you know, they always say, you know, in sales, it's about, okay,
01:50it's about the number of calls, the number of closing.
01:52Well, they're like closing 75% of their sales calls.
01:55No, I think it's 85%.
01:56It's a lot.
01:57Yeah, a month ago.
01:58Yeah.
01:59And it's just, it's mind boggling.
02:02So you know what, all these, I get a lot of questions from women and men.
02:05What can I do?
02:06How can I start my own business?
02:07Have an idea, have a service business, fill a void, fill a need.
02:11That's what they're doing.
02:12So it's fabulous.
02:13Amazing.
02:14We miss you on television, obviously, but it seems like you've been very busy.
02:17What have you kind of been doing?
02:19I know you're doing real estate and do you miss doing the show?
02:22No, I really don't because now my life has evolved in other ways.
02:25I mean, I believe life is like a shark.
02:27You got to keep moving.
02:28And I did this show for what, 16 years and real estate is really fun.
02:32And I'm really learning now to get better at my tennis, working out more.
02:35I'm getting more in shape.
02:36I feel like better now than 10 years ago, more relaxed.
02:39And I'll be doing a podcast with my daughter coming in April.
02:42So look out for that.
02:43What can you tease about the podcast?
02:44Well, you have to interview me again.
02:46But it's going to be a mother-daughter podcast.
02:47There's not too many out there.
02:49A lot of business talk, I'm assuming, between everything that's going on.
02:51More about business, yes.
02:53But just about her view, my view.
02:55Because I'm very unedited.
02:57And sometimes I think she's the mother and I'm the daughter.
03:00So I think it'll be entertaining, knowledgeable, and fun.
03:02Yeah.
03:03Last question.
03:04I know there's been so much buzz about Legacy.
03:05Any reaction to if it's happening, it's not happening?
03:07Are you involved?
03:08Are you not involved?
03:09As far as I know, as of now, it's not happening.
03:11My life is so full.
03:13I really don't have room to be on TV.
03:14That's why I want to do a podcast.
03:16I'd rather relate to my fans through a podcast where I have total control.
03:20I'm excited for the podcast.
03:22Yeah, me too.
03:23Thank you, Ramona.
03:24Hope you have fun tonight.
