00:00Good morning. Storm Bram continues to edge away, but it's a slow old process and the winds today could still cause problems, particularly across parts of Scotland, where in the far north gusts of 70, perhaps in exposed areas, 80 miles an hour could continue to cause disruption, power issues and certainly problems on the transport network.
00:18There'll be plenty of showers packing in across Scotland as well. Some showers for Northern Ireland, England and Wales, particularly this morning, but they do tend to move through quite quickly on the winds and ease off a bit through the afternoon.
00:30So actually, many places this afternoon dry and bright with some good spells of sunshine. Those winds, though, remain strong across Scotland and continue to power in plenty of showers here.
00:40With the sunny spells, temperatures likely to get up into double figures, maybe even into the teens. Not as mild as yesterday, certainly fresher than that, but these numbers still above average for the time of year.
00:51Obviously not feeling very pleasant at all with those potentially damaging gusts still across parts of Scotland.
00:57Now, the winds will ease further as we head into this evening, but it's still going to be a windy night with further rain to come across Northern Scotland.
01:04That does eventually also tend to fizzle away, and many places will become dry by dawn tomorrow.
01:11Still quite breezy, though, in the west, and notice behind me there's a weather front lurking.
01:15That's going to bring more rain during the course of tomorrow.
01:19Head of it with some clear skies. It will turn a little cooler. Temperatures down to 5, 6 degrees in towns and cities, a little lower in rural parts of the east.
01:26Maybe turning a bit misty in one or two places, but generally Thursday's going to be a dry day for England and Wales.
01:32There's quite a bit of cloud around, but some sunny spells should come through.
01:37There's that weather front edging into Northern Ireland. It doesn't look too heavy, but of course, because it's been so wet recently, any extra rainfall does need to be monitored closely,
01:45and things staying fairly damp in western Scotland during Thursday afternoon.
01:49Still quite breezy, but nothing like the winds that we've seen from Storm Bram.
01:54And the winds are still coming up from the south, so still fairly mild as well.
01:58Again, double digits for many during Thursday, perhaps up to 12, maybe 13, if we do see some brightness.
02:04Plenty going on then with the weather, and that will continue even into the weekend, too.
