00:00Look, we've got young people who are missing out on the chance to work and particularly to take on the sort of high-skilled jobs that are going to give them a really good future.
00:11So we're announcing an additional 50,000 apprenticeships for young people.
00:17We've seen a 40% drop in the numbers of young people able to start apprenticeships over the last 10 years.
00:22We'll be providing full support to small and medium-sized businesses to take on young people as apprentices.
00:31And this is good for them. It's also good for the economy because these are the skilled workers of the future.
