00:00The government is announcing the job grant which is an incentive to employers to take on a young
00:05person between the age of 18 and 24 who's been out of work for six months, who's been on Universal
00:11Credit. It's an easy application, it's launching tomorrow. It takes about 20 minutes for an employer
00:17to complete the form. They're then matched with the job centre and a young person and then there's
00:23£3,000 payable to the employer in two tranches, £1,800 after about six weeks and then £1,200
00:31after 18 weeks. And this is to give young people an opportunity of being in work in a real job.
