00:00Running loads. Aren't you fellas just running loads across the country, baby?
00:04If you've been naughty, you're kicked back here.
00:07Cali Pappies are what we run on sometimes, and by we, I mean mostly me.
00:30Alright, what's going on? We're at the Arts Fishing Club. My name's Toph, this is Dunst.
00:43What's up? Jody Lee's in the venue setting up his drums. He might pop out here, and Nir's
00:47in there setting up his bass. We're out here on tour with the 502s right now. We're in
00:54Chicago playing the Riviera Theater. We got a bunch of new music coming out that you
00:59gotta look up. A new song once every three weeks for basically the next year, so keep
01:07your eyes and ears listening. Well, this is our Sweet Chariot, Scarlett Jovancin. Bright red,
01:152017. This is our baby. This is our mobile apartment. Cool. Well, we usually rotate driving. Our tour
01:28manager Tyler kind of leads the ship on that one, but we all pop in and take like two to
01:33three hour shifts. Usually, no assigned benches. We all kind of float around. Whoever needs a
01:39nap gets a bench. Whoever needs the work sits right here.
01:43Oh yeah, we got the plugs. See, you gotta get that. You gotta get that plug. That's a, you know,
01:50season vet move. Also, Jodes popped in. We missed you, Jodes, in the intro. Oh yeah.
01:55Hello. I was setting up my drums. This, this is a new feature that I've discovered. There's a lip
02:02here. I can set my Nintendo Switch up here and play Tony Hawk while we go, so that's, that's a new
02:09discovery. I kind of love that. The pinnacle of luxury. Yeah. Crème de la crème. Crème de la crème. The finest.
02:15Uh, we got some Palo Santo. Oh yeah. Make sure it doesn't get too stinky in here. Uh, our friend
02:21in Louisville, who goes by Spooky Fishy. Spooky Fishy on Instagram. Made us these lovely little
02:29car decorations. We got a little squid and a little fish that hangs from the mirror. I'm
02:33not sure if this is knit or crochet. I think this is crochet, but she crocheted them for us. Yeah,
02:36she made it. She showed up to the show and she gave it to us. So sweet, so lovely. Uh, what else we got? Uh,
02:42hat storage. A thousand hats that are mostly mine. Uh, getting fried by the sun. Getting
02:48lowly. And, uh, probably frustrate the, the hell out of the other boys, cause they're all
02:54over the place. Uh, WD-40. Oh yeah. Collagen peptides. Collagen peptides. Collagen peptides.
03:00Collagen peptides are what we run on sometimes. And by we, I mean mostly me. Yep. High tea,
03:06baby. High tea. Um, what else we got? We got a, a vape in here that's just been left.
03:12Who's is that? I don't think any of us actually think. Yeah. We have an aux cable with both
03:18dongles for the old and new phone. Pretty much driver picks or silence. There's a lot of silence.
03:24Yeah, a lot of headphones on. I drive in silence a lot. A lot of, a lot of reflecting. Yeah.
03:28Sometimes while I'm driving, I'll even put my headphones in and just kind of pop on a podcast
03:33or some music. I've been listening to Gabe Nandez lately and Billy Woods. Some new hip hop guys.
03:39Nice. Newer, newer hip hop stuff. Check. Love that. Love that. Lots of stickers.
03:47Woo hoo hoo. Oh, she ripped a little. Sloppy as well. Yeah.
03:52Up front in bench one, we got the, uh, the social bench. If we're up here, like talking through
03:58stuff or working or kicking it or sometimes like I'll watch a movie with the person in
04:02the captain's seat. Like that's the vibe of this bench. But if it's really early, sometimes
04:06you can end up catching some sleep up here. But this is mostly for yapping and working.
04:11Yeah. Uh, this bench is my favorite bench because it is the best of both worlds. You can pop up
04:18and just tilt your head and boom, you're in the social zone of the van. Or you can just like kind
04:23of go to sleep and you're over here. You're out of the way. Uh, and also the air conditioning
04:27works really well here in the middle. I noticed a lot better than the back. And this is the
04:33exile bench. If you've been naughty, you're kicked back here. Uh, or if you just need to
04:38sleep, this is, uh, all the way back. It's kind of hard to, you can't really talk to anybody
04:43up front. Maybe a little bit here, maybe a little bit there, nothing up front. And so this
04:48is where you go. If you need to sleep, sleep. And then sometimes we actually have another bench
04:53that's way back there. Um, in our last van, we, we built a bed back there and that's, that's for
04:59when you get sick and you really, really, really, really need to sleep. That would be the, all the
05:05way back. You don't even, like you have to send a message by pigeon or a carrier just to get it up
05:14front. So, yeah. Well, again, our Kali peptides in row one, wildly important. You guessed it. Uh, more
05:22hats. Shout out to our boys. Shad wrap. Good scony folk. Um, let's see, we got a mile of music
05:32coffee mug. Also shout out Wisconsin and the shared blankets and pillows, you know, good for
05:38nap in and staying warm. Those are from my house. What not? Oh, so over here, I just looked
05:46around. I, we like to have like tour shoes in the van. These I think are yours, right? Oh,
05:51yeah. I have Crocs. Uh, I think you got some Crocs. Yep. They're just easy to slip on and
05:55off. If you need to like take a nap and you don't want your shoes on, you know, and they're
06:00not like stinky or anything. Usually, um, I always have a camera either around my neck or by my
06:06side somewhere. I've been really getting into photography and it's great to document tour.
06:11I have a lot of photos of us in the van, so maybe look out for that soon.
06:17I just found the ever important football. Uh, it was on the ground, but lots of times,
06:23I mean, we're driving hours and hours every day, which is tough on the body. It hurts.
06:28Um, so when we get out at gas stations and lunch and stuff, we try and move a little bit and just
06:36throwing bombs to each other in the, uh, in the parking lot is the best and safest way to do
06:41that. Oh yeah. I've been working on my spiral. It's not great, but Toph was a quarterback in high
06:47school. So yeah, he's teaching me. It's about twisting the hips a little. There's a lot of steps on the
06:52hips, baby. Yeah. All right. And the trunk. So normally there's another bench here, uh, but we took it
07:02out on last tour for the first time and now we put all of our bags back here. So we don't have
07:07to go into the trailer every time. And it's been really nice. Um, yeah, it's just kind of nice.
07:14It's making everything easier. Something about being on the road that we've realized is if you can save
07:20time or energy or effort, even in the smallest way over the weeks and months of days, it, that like
07:28compounds and it just helps so much. Yeah. Yeah. We've, we've perfected the trimming of the fat
07:34in, in all the areas we can on tour.
07:40Yeah. This is our trusty interstate load runner. Just running loads. Oh yeah.
07:45A bunch of fellas just running loads across the country, baby.
07:48Hey, Greg's hauling. Uh, yeah. It holds all of our gear and our merch and occasionally
07:54other things. Uh, it's usually Tyler and I packing her up at the end of the night,
08:00playing some Tetris. Donks has got great spatial awareness, YouTube. Yeah. It's pretty impressive.
08:06The rest of us are hauling it. We're just the muscle. We're just the muscle. Oh yeah. The beef. The beef.
