00:41And we're going to show you our van.

00:44We're out here in Chicago on our tour with Garbage.

00:47And we've been touring this thing for about a month and a half now.

00:50This is our halfway point.

00:51We have about a month and a half more.

00:53Yeah.

00:54So let's take a look and see what we got.

00:57First of all, as you can see, we have a very seasoned dashboard.

01:00We have a cup from the Big Texan.

01:03Shout out five hour energy.

01:04Five hour energy for our own eye drives.

01:06And then we have a really nice postcard that says,

01:08Hi, Tim.

01:09There's Tim.

01:10He's driving.

01:11Tim.

01:12Tim's our driver.

01:14Sometimes him and Nick, who isn't here, switch off.

01:17But Tim does most of the driving.

01:19Tim likes driving and he doesn't really like my driving.

01:22But I also like to drive too.

01:24He just did about six hours today.

01:27And we have a bit more to go after the show.

01:29Two hours.

01:30And I don't know if you can hear, but everybody's clicking on and off their knives in the back

01:34right now.

01:35Which is a very natural thing for us to do.

01:37Nobody really wears seat belts.

01:39Our moms love it.

01:40And then everybody clicks out their out-the-front knives while we drive without seat belts.

01:44So Tim's a really steady driver.

01:46This knife is not out the front.

01:47This one's not out the front.

01:48This is going to go great.

01:49This is going to get banned.

01:51I mean, it's all pretty shuffled.

01:55I listen to probably the most boring stuff.

02:06One rule that we have for drivers, though, is that whenever we have somebody driving,

02:10who's ever sitting here co-piloting, has to be up and attentive the whole time.

02:14That way there's two people with eyes on the road in the middle of the night, no matter

02:18when it is.

02:19That way it's always two people watching.

02:20That's why I'm never up front.

02:21Yeah.

02:22We have a volume pot, small parts.

02:35We have some four hour energies.

03:15We also have a steamer for our clothes.

03:20Some water bottles.

03:21Somewhere.

03:22And we keep our old coffees.

03:25We don't really throw stuff out.

03:27It's like a good luck charm, you know?

03:29There's some peanut shells in here, too.

03:38This is where it all goes down.

03:40This is where everybody sleeps and spends most of their days.

03:43That's Seth over there.

03:48It's our 20-pound weight, which we don't really use.

03:51We just like to keep it right here so that if we hit a quick turn, it falls and wakes everybody

03:55up.

03:56Another thing that we do that they don't really tell you about these vans is that most people

04:01fill them up with diesel, but we fill it up with gasoline because it gets it into this,

04:06what is it called?

04:07Ghetto turbo mode.

04:08And it goes a lot faster and it runs a lot louder so that when we're pulling up to the

04:13venue, they know it's us.

04:14I'll tell you a little bit about the front bench.

04:17Number one rule of the front bench is no bananas because they always end up on the floor and

04:22they end up all over my shoes.

04:24If you have chips, you can put those in the front bench, but I'm going to step all over

04:29them.

04:30The other thing is if you've got protein powder, make sure you bring it, make sure you don't

04:35use it, make sure you leave it whenever you leave tour so that it's just here for us

04:40to hang on to.

04:41So I keep that there.

04:42That person's no longer with us, but we keep his protein powder there.

04:46So there's not really much you can do with that space.

04:50We have this just in case.

04:53We'll probably never use this, but it's good to have.

04:58Somebody bought a game that doesn't play and we have that.

05:04So you can't really use this space.

05:09I like putting my shoes in here.

05:14Otherwise they get stinky when I put them in a bag in my suitcase.

05:18I keep those there.

05:21Yeah, there's like cum rags and random shit.

05:27Tide Pods in case we get long drives.

05:31These are good to have.

05:33So we hang our suits in the van out like this.

05:36And we learned to do that because when we first started touring, we put them in bags

05:40right after the shows and they're still wet and they grow mold.

05:43They would smell like Philadelphia, basically.

05:45And it would smell like Philadelphia.

05:46The whole entire van smelled like Philadelphia.

05:48No shade to Philadelphia, of course, but that's what they'd smell like.

05:53And we don't want to make the van smell like Philadelphia.

05:56You don't want the van to smell like Philadelphia.

05:58Save that for Philly.

05:59Yeah, save that for Philly.

06:00So we started.

06:01The first thing we do is we spray down the clothes after the shows with vodka.

06:06Because vodka kills all the bacteria and it makes it so it has no smell.

06:10And then we hang them out so that they get time to air dry.

06:13And so throughout the van, everybody's suits and clothes hangs.

06:19Second bench.

06:20Me and Bill kind of rule the second bench.

06:22I'll show you where I sit.

06:27I personally like the farthest, darkest corner.

06:31But also because this is the area that gets the most action.

06:34We're having the most fun back here.

06:37They're a little more serious and then whoever's there is asleep.

06:40So we do move around a lot.

06:42Like sometimes I'll hit one of these.

06:44Oh yeah.

06:46You gotta hit one of those a day.

06:47Yeah, we're usually driving like that.

06:48That's like a very typical position for where Aero will be.

06:51And then my row is the back row where we have stacks of merch boxes and two Amazon mattress pads.

06:58And so I take off my shoes, which is a very important part because if you're going to be sleeping, you don't want your shoes.

07:04So we jump up here.

07:07And then we have the lounge.

07:10And I have this $50 five string homemade guitar that I just picked up.

07:15So that lives in the lounge.

07:17Here are our mattress pads.

07:19So we got one and we got two thick.

07:22And then under those we have all of our merch boxes.

07:26And so we have stacks and stacks.

07:29Sometimes they're stacked two high.

07:31Sometimes they're stacked three high.

07:33Also, when you rent these vans, you're not supposed to take out a row.

07:37But somebody from the rental company did show us how to take out a row and said that you're not supposed to.

07:43But if you need to, this is how.

07:45And so we moved the back row to the second row.

07:48So there's four seats and then we have this zone for merch and all that stuff.

07:51We're going to show you in a bit how much stuff we actually get in the back.

07:55We don't pull a trailer and we pull a bunch of stuff, which is pretty cool.

07:59But this is really cozy.

08:01It hits the safest spot because of the cushions.
