Transcript
00:00In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:20My dear sisters and brothers, we acknowledge our sins, but more importantly, the compassion, the mercy and the love of our God.
00:27You are with us in good times and in bad times, Lord, have mercy.
00:33You turn to good everything for those who love you, Christ, have mercy.
00:38And you call us away from confusion into the clarity of your love, Lord, have mercy.
00:45May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:53Let us pray.
00:55Stir up your power, we pray, O Lord, and come, that with you to protect us, we may find rescue from the pressing dangers of our sins.
01:05And with you to set us free, we may be found worthy of salvation.
01:10We live and reign with the God the Father in unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:17A reading from the prophet Isaiah, the Lord says this, in a short time, a very short time,
01:30Shall not Lebanon become fertile land, and fertile land turn into forest?
01:38The deaf that day will hear the words of a book, and after shadow and darkness, the eyes of the blind will see.
01:48But the lowly will rejoice in the Lord even more, and the poorest exult in the Holy One of Israel.
01:58For tyrants shall be no more, and scoffers vanish, and all be destroyed who are disposed to do evil.
02:09Those who gossip to incriminate others, those who try at the gate to trip the arbitrator,
02:19And get the upright man's cause dismissed, for plumbless reasons.
02:27Therefore the Lord speaks, the God of the house of Jacob, Abraham's Redeemer.
02:35No longer shall Jacob be ashamed, no more shall his face grow pale,
02:42for he shall see what my hands have done in his midst.
02:46He shall hold my name holy.
02:50They will hallow the Holy One of Jacob.
02:54Stand in awe of the God of Israel.
02:58Earring spirits, will and wisdom, and murmurers accept instruction.
03:06The word of the Lord.
03:09Thanks be to God.
03:11The Lord is my light and my salvation.
03:14The Lord is my light and my salvation.
03:19The Lord is my light and my help, whom shall I fear?
03:23The Lord is the stronghold of my life, before whom shall I shrink?
03:28The Lord is my light and my salvation.
03:31There is one thing I ask of the Lord, for this I long.
03:36To live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.
03:41To savour the sweetness of the Lord, to behold his temple.
03:46The Lord is my light and my salvation.
03:48I am sure I shall see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living.
03:54Hope in him.
03:56Hold firm and take heart.
03:58Hope in the Lord.
03:59The Lord is my light and my salvation.
04:04Alleluia, alleluia.
04:06Behold, our Lord shall come with power.
04:09He will enlighten the eyes of his servants.
04:11Alleluia.
04:12The Lord be with you.
04:16A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
04:19Glory to you, O Lord.
04:22As Jesus went on his way, two blind men followed him, shouting,
04:27Take pity on us, son of David.
04:30And when Jesus reached the house, the blind man came up with him,
04:35and he said to them,
04:36Do you believe I can do this?
04:40They said, sir, we do.
04:42They touched their eyes, saying,
04:44Your faith deserves it, so let this be done for you.
04:48And their light, the sight, returned.
04:51Then Jesus sternly warned them,
04:53Take care, that no one learns about this.
04:56But when they had gone,
04:58they talked about it all over the countryside.
05:00The gospel of the Lord.
05:05Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:08Jesus, of course, didn't want people to think he was the type of Messiah
05:12that popular opinion had.
05:14That's why I said, shh, keep quiet, quiet.
05:17But of course, how could they?
05:19They now can see.
05:21Lord, help me not to be blind
05:23to what I need healing from.
05:27Help me to see as you see.
05:30Lord, help me to see.
05:36Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
06:00For to your goodness we have this bread to offer,
06:02which earth has given human hands have made,
06:05it will become for us the bread of life.
06:07Blessed be God forever.
06:09Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
06:24For to your goodness we have this wine to offer.
06:27Fruit of divine work of human hands,
06:30it will become our spiritual drink.
06:33Blessed be God forever.
06:34Let us pray, brothers and sisters,
06:42that my sacrifice and yours
06:44may be acceptable to God, our almighty Father.
06:48May the Lord accept the sacrifice at our hands,
06:51the praise and glory of God's name,
06:53for our good and the good of God's holy church.
06:56Be pleased, O Lord, with our humble prayers and offerings.
07:01And since we have no marriage to plead our cause,
07:04come, we pray, to our rescue,
07:06with the protection of your mercy,
07:08through Christ our Lord.
07:10Amen.
07:11The Lord be with you.
07:14Lift up your hearts.
07:16Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:19It is truly right and just,
07:21our duty and our salvation,
07:22always and everywhere to give you thanks,
07:25Lord, Holy Father, almighty and eternal God,
07:28through Christ our Lord.
07:30For we assume that his first coming,
07:32the loneliness of human flesh,
07:35and so fulfill the design you formed long ago,
07:38and open for us the way to eternal salvation.
07:41That when he comes again in glory and majesty,
07:44and all is at last made manifest,
07:47we who watch for that day
07:48may inherit the great promise
07:50in which now we dare to hope.
07:53And so, with angels and archangels,
07:55with thrones and dominions,
07:57and with all the hosts and powers of heaven,
08:00we sing the hymn of your glory,
08:01as without end we acclaim,
08:04Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts,
08:08heaven and earth are full of your glory,
08:10Hosanna in the highest.
08:12Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord,
08:15Hosanna in the highest.
08:17You are indeed holy, O Lord,
08:19the fount of all holiness.
08:21Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
08:23by sending down your spirit upon them like the new folk,
08:27so they may become for us
08:28the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:31At the time he was betrayed,
08:33and entered willingly into his passion,
08:36he took bread,
08:37and giving you thanks, broke it,
08:39and gave it to his disciples,
08:41saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
08:43for this is my body,
08:45which will be given up for you.
08:51In a similar way,
08:53when supper was ended,
08:54he took the chalice,
08:55and once more giving thanks,
08:58he gave it to his disciples,
08:59saying, Take this, all of you,
09:01and drink from it,
09:02for this is the chalice of my blood,
09:05the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
09:07which will be poured out for you and for many
09:11for the forgiveness of sins.
09:13Do this in memory of me.
09:21The mystery of faith.
09:24We proclaim your death, O Lord,
09:26and profess your resurrection,
09:28until you come again.
09:33Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial
09:35of his death and resurrection,
09:37we offer you, Lord,
09:38the bread of life
09:39and the chalice of salvation,
09:41giving thanks that you've held us worthy
09:43to be in your presence
09:45and minister to you.
09:47Humbly we pray,
09:49that partaking of the body
09:50and blood of Christ,
09:52we may be gathered into one
09:54by the Holy Spirit.
09:56Remember, Lord,
09:57your church spread throughout the world,
09:59and bring her to the fullness of charity.
10:02Together we clear our hope,
10:03me, your unworthy servant,
10:06and all the clergy.
10:08Remember also our brothers and sisters
10:10who have fallen asleep
10:11in the hope of the resurrection,
10:13and all who have died in your mercy.
10:17Welcome them into the light of your face.
10:20Have mercy on us all, we pray,
10:22that with the blessed Virgin Mary,
10:24Mother of God,
10:24blessed Joseph, his spouse,
10:26with the blessed apostles
10:27and all the saints
10:28who have pleased you throughout the ages,
10:31we may, through your grace,
10:32merit to be coerced
10:34to eternal life,
10:35and may praise and glorify you
10:37through your Son,
10:38Jesus Christ.
10:42Through him and with him
10:43and in him,
10:44O God, almighty Father,
10:45in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
10:48all glory and honor
10:49is yours for ever
10:50and ever.
10:51Amen.
10:53With the Savior's command
10:55and formed by divine teaching,
10:56we dare to say,
10:57our Father,
10:59who art in heaven,
11:00hallowed be thy name.
11:02Thy kingdom come,
11:04thy will be done on earth
11:05as it is in heaven.
11:07Give us this day
11:08our daily bread
11:08and forgive us our trespasses
11:10as we forgive those
11:12who trespass against us.
11:14And lead us not into temptation,
11:16but deliver us from evil.
11:18Deliver us, Lord,
11:19we pray,
11:20from every evil.
11:21Graciously grant peace
11:22in our days,
11:23that by the help
11:24of your mercy,
11:25you may be always free from sin
11:27and safe from all distress
11:29as we await the blessed hope
11:31and the coming of our Savior,
11:33Jesus Christ.
11:34For the kingdom,
11:35the power,
11:36and the glory are yours
11:37now and forever.
11:39Lord Jesus Christ,
11:40who said to your apostles,
11:42Peace I leave you,
11:43my peace I give you,
11:44look not on our sins
11:46but on the faith of your church.
11:48And graciously grant her peace
11:49and unity in accordance
11:50with your will,
11:51who live and reign
11:52forever and ever.
11:54Amen.
11:55The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ
11:57be with you always.
11:58Let us offer each other
11:59a sign of peace.

12:32to the supper of the Lamb.
12:34Lord,
12:35I am not worthy

12:36under my roof,
12:37but only say the word
12:38and my soul
12:39shall be healed.

12:42I believe that you are present
12:44in the most blessed sacrament.
12:46I love you above all things
12:47and I desire to receive you
12:49into my soul.
12:50Since I cannot now
12:52receive you sacramentally,
12:54come at least spiritually
12:55into my heart,
12:57I embrace you
12:57as if you were already there
12:59and unite myself wholly to you.
13:02Never permit me
13:03to be separated from you.
13:05Amen.
13:07Let us pray.

13:10of spiritual nourishment,
13:11we humbly beseech you,
13:12O Lord,
13:13that through our partaking
13:14in this mystery,
