00:00In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen the grace of our Lord
00:19Jesus Christ in the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all and with your
00:24Holy Spirit. Good morning everyone today the first day of the first week of Advent the first two weeks we
00:35think about the scatological thoughts about second coming of Jesus and the second part of this Advent
00:41season we reflect on the first coming of Jesus the birth of Jesus as we prepare for the first coming
00:49reflecting on our own the end of life and the second coming of Jesus
00:55it both reminds us about the preparation a personal preparation how we start and how we do that
01:04sometimes we fail to understand how we need to do that sometimes we fail to do what we know actually
01:12let's take a moment to accept all our failures and weaknesses and ask pardon for that
01:17and prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries
01:28I confess to almighty God and you my brothers and sisters that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts
01:37and in my words and in my words in what I have done and in what I have failed to do through my word
01:43through my word through my most serious word therefore I ask blessed Mary ever virgin
01:50all the angels and saints and you my brothers and sisters to pray for me to the Lord our God
01:58may almighty God have mercy on us forgive us our sins and bring us to everlasting life
02:04Lord have mercy Lord have mercy Lord have mercy Lord have mercy
02:12Lord have mercy let us pray
02:15Keep us alert, we pray, O Lord our God, as we await the advent of Christ your Son,
02:27so that when he comes and knocks, he may find us watching in prayer and exultant in his praise.
02:37Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever.
02:45A reading from the prophet Isaiah
02:54That day the branch of the Lord shall be beauty and glory and the fruit of the earth shall be the
03:02pride and adornment of Israel's survivors. Those who are left of Zion and remain of Jerusalem
03:13shall be called holy and those left in Jerusalem not down for survival.
03:21When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughter of Zion and cleansed Jerusalem of the
03:29blood shed in her with the blast of judgment and the blast of destruction, the Lord will come and rest
03:38on the whole stretch of Mount Zion and on those who are gathered here, gathered there, a cloud by day,
03:47a smoke and a smoke, and by night the brightness of a flaming fire.
03:53For overall the glory of the Lord will be a canopy and a tent to give shade by day from the heat,
04:04refuge and shelter from the storm and the rain.
04:07The word of the Lord.
04:15Our response today
04:16I rejoiced when I heard them say, let us go to God's house, and now our feet are standing
04:31within your gates of Jerusalem. Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.
04:37For the peace of Jerusalem pray, peace be to your homes. May peace reign in your walls,
05:05in your places, in your palaces, peace. Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.
05:13For love of my brethren and friends, I say peace upon you. For love of the house of the Lord,
05:20I will ask for your good. Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.
05:27Alleluia, Alleluia. Come and save us, Lord our God. Let us see your face and we shall be saved.
05:35Alleluia. The Lord be with you. A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
05:47When Jesus went into Capernaum,
05:51a centurion came up and pleased with him. Sir, he said, my servant is lying at home,
05:59paralyzed and in great pain. I will come myself and cure him, said Jesus.
06:08The centurion replied, Sir, I am not worthy to have you under my proof.
06:17Just give the word and my servant will be cured. For I am under authority myself,
06:24and have soldiers under me. And I say to one man, go, and he goes. To another, come here, and he comes.
06:34To my servant, do this, and he does it. But Jesus heard this. He was astonished and said to those
06:44following him, I tell you solemnly, nowhere in Israel have I found faith like this.
06:52And I tell you that many will come from east and west to take their places with Abraham,
07:00and Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the kingdom of heaven.
07:08The Gospel of the Lord.
07:09Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you.
07:25Fruit of the earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread of life.
07:29Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you.
07:45Fruit of the wine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink.
08:00Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you.
08:05Sacrificing your sacrifice and your sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God the Almighty Father.
08:22May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of his name, for the good and good of all his holy church.
08:29Except we pray, O Lord, these offerings we make gathered from among your gifts to us,
08:38and may what you grant us to celebrate devotedly here below, gain for us the prize of eternal redemption.
08:46Through Christ our Lord, the Lord be with you, lift up your hearts, let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
08:59It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to give in thanks,
09:06Lord Holy Father Almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord.
09:10For he assumed at his first coming, the lowliness of human flesh, and so fulfilled the design you formed long ago,
09:19and opened for us the way to eternal salvation, that when he comes again in glory and majesty,
09:26and all is at last made manifest, we who watch for that day may inherit the great promise in which now we dare to hope.
09:36And so with angels and archangels, and thrones and dominions, and with all the hosts and powers of heaven,
09:44we sing the hymn of your glory, as without the end we acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts,
09:53heaven and earth are full of your glory, Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest.
10:01Holy, Holy, Holy Holy, Holy Holy, Holy Holy Holy, Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy
10:31broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this all of you and eat of it, for this
10:39is my body which will be given up for you. In a similar way, when Safravas entered, he
10:58took the chalice and once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this
11:04all of you and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new
11:11and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness
11:17of sins. Do this in memory of me.
11:31The mystery of faith, when we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death,
11:37O Lord, until you come again. Therefore, we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection.
11:44We offer you, Lord, the bread of life in the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you
11:50have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
11:54Humbly we pray that, by taking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into
11:59one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world and bring
12:05her to the fullness of charity. Together with the Play of Forty, the Pope, Charles, our Bishop,
12:11and all the clergy. Remember also, our brothers and sisters, who have fallen asleep in the
12:19hope of the resurrection, and all who have died in your mercy. Welcome them into the light
12:25of your face. Have mercy on us all. We pray that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
12:32Blessed Joseph, our Spouse, the Blessed Apostles, and all the Saints, who have pleased you throughout
12:38the ages. Remember, to pick our eyes to eternal life. And we praise and glorify you through your Son,
12:45Jesus Christ. Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty, Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
12:57all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
13:08At the Savior's command, and formed by divine teaching, we'd like to say,
13:12Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thou will be done on earth,
13:20as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
13:28who trespass against us. And lead us not in the temptation, but deliver us from evil.
13:34Deliver us, Lord, we pray from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your
13:42mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress. As we await the blessed hope
13:49and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
13:54are yours now and forever. Lord Jesus Christ, who set you up for yourselves,
13:59peace I leave you, my peace I give you. Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church,
14:06and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
14:11who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
14:14Peace of the Lord be with you always.
14:16Thank you, O Lord. Let us offer you to the sign of peace.
14:19May this in the name of the Lord and the Word of the Lord Jesus bless me and I bless you, O Lord.
14:29Lamb of God you take away the sins of world and mercy on us Lamb of God you take away the sins of the world and mercy on us
14:55Lord, behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
14:58Blessed are those called to the Supper of the Lamb.
15:02Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my blood.
15:05But what is said, Lord, and my soul shall be healed.
15:09Lord, and blood of Christ, give me so that I am.
15:12My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
15:17I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
15:22Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
15:25come at least spiritually into my heart.
15:28I embrace you as if you were already there,
15:30and unite myself wholly to you.
15:33Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
15:38Let us pray.
15:40May these mysteries, O Lord, in which we have participated,
15:46profit us, we pray, for even now, as we walk amid passing things,
15:51you teach us by them to love the things of heaven
15:55and hold fast to what enteroes through Christ our Lord.
16:02Lord be with you.
16:03With your spirit.
16:04Your mighty God bless you, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
16:10As you said, let's go and live the gospel.
