00:25The eight-episode show set in the early 1950s follows Elizabeth Zott,
00:32whose dream of becoming a scientist is put on hold in a patriarchal society.
00:36After being fired from her lab, she gets offered a job to host a TV cooking show,
00:41which she accepts.
00:42But she quickly sets out to use her platform to teach a nation of overlooked housewives
00:46and the men who are listening all of a sudden more than just recipes.

00:53Lessons in Chemistry will premiere on Apple TV Plus,
00:56with the first two episodes dropping October 13th,
00:59followed by new episodes each Friday.
