00:21Set 1,000 years before the events of Game of Thrones,
00:24the series tells the story of warrior queen Princess Nymeria, the founder of the Kingdom of Dorne.
00:29Martin broke the news on his blog and added,
00:32The 10,000 Ships prequel was previously in talks to happen
00:43when HBO commissioned five prequel ideas to potentially succeed Game of Thrones.
00:48The network is still invested in Thrones spinoff content.
00:51Although the Jon Snow prequel was scrapped, HBO greenlit an additional series,
00:55A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and has already cast two of its leads,
00:58Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell as Sir Duncan the Tall and Esquire Egg.
